Armenian book denies Holocaust Jewish Telegraphic Agency February 18, 2002 An anti-Semitic book was distributed at a recent gathering of Armenian writers. The book "National System" identifies Jews and Turks as the leading enemies of the Armenian nation and calls the Holocaust a myth created by Zionists. When the leader of Armenian Jewry introduced herself to the audience at the Feb. 9 gathering, she was heckled, according to the Union of Councils for Jews in the Former Soviet Union. Armenian Jewish leaders said they are going to meet with Armenias president on the issue

Editorial & Op-Ed Even the best of friends By Zvi Bar'el Ha'aretz,Jewish Newspaper English Edition, Sunday, April 07, 2002 "The tanks deal is an open wound," said the deputy chairman of Turkey's Islamist Justice and Development Party, Abdullah Gul. He was referring to Ankara's decision to have tanks upgraded in Israel in a $700 million deal. Aside from competition against American firms, the deal was held up by heavy pressure that Arab countries exerted on Turkey. In normal times they know they have no chance of influencing the relations between Israel and its best friend in the Middle East. This time, Gul said, "giving the contract to Israel means Turkish support for Israeli aggression." Gul, a former state minister for foreign affairs, is not a lone voice in the Turkish political arena, where the war in the territories has produced a distinctly uneasy atmosphere. Mesout Yilmaz, chairman of the Homeland Party, which is a member of the ruling coalition, used language that was unusually sharp in criticizing Israel. "Turkey will not throw its relations with Israel into the refuse bin," he said, "but neither will it close its eyes to the `hard treatment' the Palestinians are receiving." And the prime minister, Bulent Ecevit, went as far as to talk about "genocide." Demonstrations continued last week in Ankara with the participation of the leaders of the trade unions and members of the chambers of commerce. The joint military maneuvers involving Israel, Turkey and the United States, which had been scheduled for the end of April, have been postponed indefinitely, and one Turkish paper ran an editorial under the headline "Adolf Sharon." The reports in the Turkish media do not spare Israel's friends in Turkey the harshest images from the territories, and every day new groups join the list of those that are demanding action by the government. "Turkey usually pursues an independent policy toward Israel, and you know what meager influence the Arab states have in Ankara," says a senior Turkish official. "But with Turkey waging a struggle for admission to the European Union and maintaining extensive commercial relations with Iraq and full diplomatic relations with Iran, it is obliged, at least at the declarative level, to join the line that is against the Israeli army's operations in the territories." The word "declaratively" is no consolation, because even if the diplomatic dialogue is being conducted in low tones, and even if Turkey, despite the pressure, is not canceling the deal with Israel, the Turkish street is a powerful voice. "On the face of it, a new balance of terror has been created, which is more convenient for Turkey," the senior official says. "In this balance, as long as the war between Israel and the Palestinians continues, there is less chance of an American war against Iraq, which is opposed by Turkey. But you should take note of the influence that the war with the Palestinians is liable to have on the relations between the people of Turkey - not only the government of Turkey - and Israel." Relations between Turkey and Israel are unique even between friendly countries. They can be described as "cordial ties," which were created from below, between the Israeli and Turkish publics, and developed into the close formal relations that now exist. Turkey is not only the sole Middle Eastern country in which an Israeli can feel safer than he can at home, and the only European country in which an Israeli tourist doesn't have to keep his identity a secret - it is the only Muslim country in the world that takes pride in its relations with Israel. When television announcers in Egypt adopt the term "Zionazism," and voices in Jordan talk openly about the "level of decline" in relations with Israel, Turkey, even if gritting its teeth, is continuing to do business as usual. Turkey's good relations are not with Sharon and his government, but with Israel and its people, Ilnut Cevik wrote in the Turkish Daily News. "Governments come and go, but the people and true friendship remain." Cevik and his colleagues will have to work a little harder if they discover, eventually, that there is no difference between Sharon and his policy and the "people." The deal to upgrade the tanks may not be canceled even then, but it's possible the Israeli public could still lose its best friend.

Today's Media World Dominated by Powerful Pro-Israel Bias An Israeli journalist points out that the "news" isn't a business; it's a way of keeping the "sheeple" in line with carefully-placed propaganda. By Israel Shamir The media world was well described in the brilliant novel by Evelyn Waugh, The Scoop. Though the main plot of the book unfolds in Africa, the relevant scene takes place on Fleet Street, at the office of the Daily Beast owner, Lord Copper. The media baron asked his foreign editor from time to time, is Yokohama the capital of Japan? Or does Hong Kong belong to us? The editor had two "safe" answers. When Lord Copper was right, he said, "Definitely, Lord Copper." When he was wrong, he said, "Up to a point, Lord Copper." That is the fork, from definitely to up to a point, of the permissible borders of mainstream media discourse. We journalists are dependent creatures. We would like to be honest and sincere, but we have to think of our mortgages and of our vocation. If we step over the borders established by the media owners, we would have to look for a different occupation altogether. Speaking of Palestine, the borders are quite narrow. I would say they run parallel to the borders of internal Jewish Israeli mainstream discourse, from Meretz to Sharon. If we compare it with pre-Mandela South Africa, it is similar to the white mainstream discourse, from nationalist to progressive, not including the ANC. In my view, this discourse is exclusivist, even supremacist. It is based on sustaining Jewish supremacy in Palestine. It does not offer equality or even a safe future to the local inhabitants. But that is all you are allowed to say. You may support the creation of Palestinian reservations which puts you firmly in the Israeli "liberal" camp, or you can back mass expulsion and ethnic cleansing, and you will be called a hardliner or a hawk. These are the firm borders of the discourse. Whoever crosses the borders, and speaks for equality of a Jew and Gentile in the Holy Land, finds himself in the wilderness. His voice will be silenced, maybe for good. I know this first hand. I live in Jaffa, a town with a mixed population. There are Palestinians, Mor oc cans, Israeli Ashkenazi Jews, Russians, and we all live together rather harmoniously. But a lot of people who were born in Jaffa live in refugee camps and they are forbidden to return just because of their religion or ethnicity. I find it morally impossible that a Jew from New York, Paris or Novosibirsk, like me, can come and live in Jaffa, while a local man, born in Jaf fa, may not come back home. I called for the return of the Palestinian refugees and immediately lost my job with Ha'aretz. That is the most liberal Israeli newspaper. The case of Palestine coverage in the media is special for one reason. We have a peculiar vocabulary, developed for the local coverage. If I kill Ahmad, it would be reported that "Ahmad was killed by an Israeli." But if, God forbid, Ahmad would kill me, you would learn that "a Jew was murdered." As in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, an Israeli may kill; but if an Israeli is killed, he turns into a Jew. It is absolutely forbidden to speak about Jewish atrocities and murders. The Jews are forever victims. It often appears we have three nations in Palestine: Jews, Israelis and Palestinians. Israelis may commit crimes, but it is innocent-always innocent-Jews that are murdered. If you confuse these two words, and refer to a murderer as "a Jew," you will be called an anti-Semite, and probably you will lose your job. It should not be too complicated to cover our story. It is not even as complicated as other places of world concern. The right of national self-determination inclusive of autonomy or independence isn't an easy right to realize, as Corsicans can tell you. Palestine should be easier to cover: it is not the question of national self determination, but of basic human rights. Kosovo? In Kosovo, Albanians were discriminated against and tormented by Serb authorities, but they always had the technical right to vote and the Yugoslav government never withdrew their citizenship. They were distant second-class citizens, but still citizens. Kurds in Turkey? They also can vote. The coverage of Palestine should be easier, but it is not. A journalist may write and speak about marginal problems, like the Jewish settlers beyond the Green Line. But the basic power structure of Jewish dominance in Palestine may not be questioned. We may not say that the Palestinians have no right to vote; no right to move to other parts of their country and no right to return to their homes in the only country they have ever known. In my opinion, the source of the media bias in covering the Palestinians is tremendously important. For it speaks volumes about the power structure of the United States and Europe. It gives us unique feedback from the obscure world of media lords. And, it goes without saying, that "establishment" journalists are not given much leeway on reporting on this valuable feedback. They are always too busy writing "definitely." The reason is obvious. Too many of our media lords subscribe to the notion of Jewish supremacy, and they are spread around the globe. In England, there is Conrad Black, he actually owns many papers in Canada, the United States and in Israel. In our country, he owns The Jerusalem Post. When he bought this paper, he dismissed the staff and hired people of his opinions. He is a right-wing Zionist, a zealous supporter of Jewish supremacy. In the United States, there are too many of them to count. But allow us to mention Mortimer Zuck erman, a media lord and the current head of the Presidents' Conference of American Jewish Organi zations, the big daddy of all Jewish groups in America. He is one of the richest men in America, he made his fortune speculating in real estate and owns the third largest "serious" American weekly magazine, US News and World Report. He also owns the popular plebeian tabloid, The Daily News, a major circulation in the New York and New Jersey market. His newspapers generally advocate the brutal rule of market forces. With one exception; they call for generous annual subsidy of Israel by American taxpayers. Two ex-prime ministers of Israel, Netanyahu of the war-mongering Likud and Barak of the slightly less hawkish Labor Party supported Zuckerman in his quest for the leadership of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations. This side of the Ku Klux Klan, this association of 52 heads of American Jewish organizations is the most bigoted body of men in American politics. Ha'aretz recently reported, that Mortimer Zuckerman had dismissed his shiksa wife, in order to get this coveted chair. As long as he stayed married to a non-Jewish woman, his colleagues, Jewish billionaires, would not trust him. And he is one of the most influential publishers in the United States. On the other end of the planet, in Russia, the TV stations and newspapers also are under the ownership of Israeli citizens. One of them, Vladimir Gu sinsky, was forced to part with his TV station. But his extremely pro-Israeli staff was quickly hired by another channel, belonging to another Israeli citizen, Mr. Chernoi. In 1985, he was an accountant living on a salary of $100 a month. Today he is worth $5 billion, owns virtually all the aluminum plants in Russia, and lives in a nice suburb of Tel Aviv. Currently, he is under investigation for 34 murders, money laundering and membership in the Russian mafia. In a recent quip, he was quoted as saying that "the media is not business. The media is politics and influence." He uses his media empire to stifle all criticism of Israel in Russia. I spoke recently to a young Russian military attaché in one of the Western capitals. He told me: your Israeli situation is similar to ours, but we have Chechnya a thousand miles away, while you have it next door. I asked him: do you want to say that Chechens have no right of vote? He was amazed. He did not know that the Palestinians have no right to vote. The media of Gusinsky, Chernoi, and Bere zovsky, that is three powerful media lords, all of them Israeli citizens, took care to cultivate his ignorance. Even in Sweden, traditionally supportive of the Palestinian cause, since the national newspapers were bought by Jewish entrepreneurs, the coverage of Palestine became more and more lopsided. I do not know whether the new owners had to ask for it explicitly, or their chief editors just guessed their desires, but the results were the same. This international group of Jewish media lords, from Washington to Moscow, is not subservient to the interests of Israel. But support of Israel is a part of their agenda. On the top of the list is globalization and neo-liberalism; what they call "freedom of market forces." On political matters, they tend to distrust democracy and personal freedoms while making constant demands for corporate liberties. Mutual support is also high on their list of priorities. When Gusinsky was under investigation for embezzling funds, The New York Times and The Wash ington Post, that is the late Mrs. Kathryn Gra ham and Sutzberger, both published virtually identical lead stories and editorials supporting the "Independent Russian Press." Independent, appears to be a code word for "Jewish-owned." This should be a serious cause for concern. When an Egyptian businessman bought Harrods in Lon don, the newspapers went into a fury. The headlines blared "our national heritage is being taken away by foreigners." In Israel, no outsider is allowed to own a newspaper. There was a rich Russian Jew, Gregory Lerner, who tried to buy a newspaper in Israel. He was sent to jail for six years for various mafia-related crimes. It is worth noting that, before he made his rush into the media, nobody cared about his offenses. An Iraqi Jew took over a newspaper, and very soon he found himself in jail. Because the media is not a business, it is the nerve system of a country. In my opinion, the case of Palestine is much more important for you, for Europeans and Americans, than just another case of injustice. Because it proves that this international group of Jewish media lords have become a mite too powerful. In my experience, Jewish journalists can be as objective as any. Actually, the best coverage of Palestine is done by Jewish journalists, from Susanne Goldenberg of The Guardian to Gideon Levy of Ha'aretz. But it is easier to squeeze a camel through the needle's eye than to find an objective media lord. This problem can be solved without actually removing media from the hands of individual proprietors if newspapers would be treated like precious water sources and other all-important public utilities. That is, unless we want to delegate all these newspapers to the murky realm of ethnic press, and build from scratch a new network of free press.

Vrej wrote this and anoush posted it at my forum. Here I would like to mention, the destiny of an other 'Diasporan', so particular Legend, that is hardly known outside Artzakh, even less outside Armenia. Kristapor Ivanian, born in the 1920's, in Tiflis, then the biggest Armenian Town of the Trascaucasus.... He was born in a family of generals, serving the Tzars for more than a century, and his father being a Hero of the Russian Army during the liberation of Western Armenia, Garin, Gars... For this reason, merged into the Russianised Nobelty of Tiflis, then the capital of the Russian Regime in the Transcaucasus, was Russian speeking exclusively. He knew virtually nothing of Armenia... kristapor enteren the Military cavalery acadamy in Tiflis, natuarally, according to old family traditions... Still young, he was remarked for his abilities, and sent to St petersburg/leningrad artillary academy... WWII began, and the young Ivanian, stiil a cadet, was sent to the front..... He unded as a commander of the Red Army Artillary units before Berlin!! He was God knows how many times Hero of the USSR. After the war, he served in different army HQ, became the commander of the USSR artillary and missile academys, commander of missiles in Ukraine... Till the late 70s, when as a hero of the Soviet Union, he had the right to retire with biggest Honors, with a Datcha in St Petersbourg. He was married to a Russian, and his sons and daughter were totally merged to the then Nomenclatura of Moscow,... In 1988, he was already an old man, in his 70's, classified as 'history' by all, forgotten by all... He heard of Artzakh vaguely, or so, as eny 'Grandpa' in Leningrad. Till summer 92, when tings went very very bad for Artzakh. The turks captured 45% of the territory, and were close to 10km nort east of Stepanakert. Desperate, Vasken Sarkssian made a speech on Armenian and russian TV, calling all Armenian officers, no matter their location, to save the country... In Leningrad, by chance, the Ivanian couple, in their datcha were looking the news.... The old General, stood up, and said to his old wife, that maybe he should go too, who knows, he might still be usefull,,?? Her wife laughed at him, saying, 'old man, you are sick, unable to stand 30 minutes on foot, (he had a prostate adenome), with no respiration, what you think those people would do from you?' An hour later, he said, taking his jacket on his shoulder, as usual, at 19:00, 'wife I'm going to buy my cigarettes'... As he was out, his wife caller their son, in a Moscow office, saying: 'you know, your father is going too old, know what, he said he was willing to fight... , maybe we must see a doctor?' General kristapor Ivanian, 72 years old, hero of the USSR, gone to buy cigarettes, was reported missing in Leningrad.... Next day, at the eavening, in all the chaos and brouhaha of a small building, in Central Yerevan, where convoys were sent to Stepanakert, an old man, with 2cm glasses, a tiny brown, hand made jacket on his back , asked to be registered as a Volonteer, in russian!!! The women behind the desk was lost, she asked him to wait next room... At the end of the day, by chance an officer came to give instructions. He asked if there was still problems?? The women ended the list: 'Commander, there is an old fool next by, he's wainting for hours, and still refuses to leave...' The officer, impressed by the age, went to persuade the old man. He still refused to leave...., asking the commander to call his General! No matter the arguments, he still began to shout loudly, ordering in Russian: 'call your general and tell him that Kristapor Ivanovitch Ivanian is a volonteer for Artzakh'!!! there was an othr officer next stage, who came in and asked: 'Are you the K. ivanian of the Artillary books? i studied in the academy, on your theory books!!!' Next Morning, the old men was in the office of the President of the republic, with the minister of Defense..., all were fullof emotion, and general Ivanian was appointed as military aid of the President, supervising the Armenian Army...' Things were going from bad to worse, and the old man was angry with the President, for giving him 'office work'... One morning, he was reported missing... The same eavening, there was a massive attack on Hadrut front, things were going into chaos, orders were given to evacuate.... in all that hell, when in a panick mood, the last field canon was being taken back, an old man apeared in front of the track, on the Highway to Fizuli. Took the mortars and asked to help him... The boys were annoyed. They had orders to retreat, but this Strong head old man was refusing to leeve'... no matter all their talk, finally, in respect to his big age, they decided to stop for some minutes, and help the old fool... General Kristapor Ivanian, ex-Hero of the USSR, ex-Theorician of Soviet Artillary Academies, ex-Aid of the President of the Armenian Republic, turned into a simple artillary officer, ordering, shouting in Russian.... And the enemy was stopped! Soon the turkish fire was less and less acurate, less and less intensive.... Soon the little field cannon of the 'Missing' regiment registered new, captured material, Grad missiles.... Kristapor Ivanian, member and adviser of the NKR HQ, was assigned to create, from zero, NKR army's military academy, in a destroyed village, now named after him IVANOVKA. While fighting on 4 fronts, the NKR began forming new, 17-18 year old tank and artillary officers..., next to the frontline. One day the boys were in classes, learning in books, and next day, when situation tense, they were in practice, liberating Aghdam or Fizuli... War ended, for the first time after 1041, ani's fall, an armenian Army liberated lands... Gen Ivanian, called home, ex-Leningrad now St Petersbourg, to inform his whereabout.... The Government of the NKR, offered a big datcha, next to the Presidential palace to his 75 years Heroe, now Second in Command of its Army.... The russian wife installed in Stepanakert, but the old general refused comfort.. While he asked his whife to cultivate vegetables and poultery in their garden, to avoid expenses for the state, he went to live in his Division's HQ, near the frontline..., turning Home, Stepanakert, once a month only.... Gen Ivanian was Given the most difficult section of the front, the montains and forests of Chahoumian and Mardakert.... He was used to sleep 3-4 hours a day, the rest touring his positions... He was atheist as the original communists, knew virtually no Armenian, established soviet style discipline in his troops, imposed law and order, has build bunkers and garnisons, with soviet style harshness (the builders were given short terms, with at the end, the obligation to give best quality bunkers, if not, may God help them...)... He was feared as a'Stalin' in all Mardakert, at 75, sick with uretral and cancer problems, but checked all by his eyes... He knew knothing of 'comfort/luxury'. lived in the same places as his officers, his men.... eated virtually the same as they did,a 'loligov tzevazegh' a day, a piece of bread and a cop of tea...( in 96, things were not as good as now for food). I had the honor to share his officer quarter bank for a short period, and I can't forget that old, severe, Russian speeking, but so emotional and good-heart man, sharing the cold, humid, icy morning ceremonial garnison 'nakhajachs' with 20-30 year old mens.... I can't forget the first day I was introduced to him. that 'Stalin' man, tears in his eyes, because he saw a young Diasporan, 'present to give a hand' to thoose forgotten 'SAVAGES'... Let alone the comic, while 2 different Diasporan's seving the same nation, were obliged to communicate with hands, or a Artsakhian parpar translator... He had 2 Artzakhian horses, he used to tour the montain forest positions 2 or tree times a week..., and believe me its easier to say than to do, in such hard terrain, mines everywhere, and the enemy 100-150m away.... He served till his last day of life, past 75, to secure security for his old people.... Yess Mam, he was one among thousands famous in closed circles, unknown to their nation abroad Heroes, and no matter what an Ontario based or Fresno installed individual could say, these 'SAVAGE HOOLIGANS' gave us our right to live...

Turkish PM downplays charge of Israeli "genocide" ANKARA, April 5 (Reuters) - Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said on Friday his remarks accusing military ally Israel of committing "genocide" against Palestinians reflected the region's growing anxiety over violence in the Middle East. Muslim Turkey is Israel's closest ally in the region, but the premier's remarks reflected Turkey's growing discomfort with Israel's invasion of Palestinian cities in response to a string of Palestinian suicide bombings. Ecevit told his party members in parliament on Thursday: "A genocide against the Palestinian people is being carried out before the eyes of the world." On Friday he sought to downplay that charge. "In this speech I touched upon the grave results the events in the Middle East could lead to," he said in a statement faxed to Reuters. "My words reflected the anxiety felt in our country and our region." Israel and Turkey cooperate on a range of security issues, and just last month Turkey signed a deal for an Israeli state defence firm to upgrade Turkey's ageing M-60 tanks. But thousands of Turks have taken to the streets this week to declare their solidarity with Palestinians and demand Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon end the military offensive. At least nine Palestinians were killed in overnight fighting between Israeli troops and Palestinian gunmen in the West Bank cities of Nablus and Jenin, Palestinian security officials and witnesses said on Friday. 02:21 04-05-02

MASSACRE OF ARMENIANS IN SHUSHI IN 1920 IS NOTHING BUT GENOCIDE Arminfo 23 March 2002 YEREVAN The massacre of Armenians in Shushi in 1920 is nothing but a genocide, Chairman of the parliamentary Commission for Foreign Relations of Artsax, Vahram Atanesyan, said at a press-conference today. He said the massacre was perpetrated by Azerbaijan with the support of the Turkish expeditionary corps. Atanesyan stressed that Artsax has never been a part of Azerbaijan and was de facto independent at that moment, its status being recognized by Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. However, availing themselves of the international community's delaying the acknowledgement of the independent Artsax Republic (the League of Nations declared it a disputed territory, planning to consider its status at a conference in Paris, which never took place), the Azeri-Turkish bandits stifled Artsax's government and massacred its population. Atanesyan said Mar 23 1920 was the climax of the anti-Armenian campaign of 1918-1920 - hundreds of Shushi-Armenians were killed and deported. Atanesyan said the Artsax side has ample evidence of the massacres of Armenians perpetrated in Baku, Shushi and other towns of the region in 1918-1920. He said this evidence must be made known to the wide public. Atanesyan said during the Soviet times Azerbaijan continued the "white genocide" of Armenian in Shushi consistently forcing out the 40,000 Armenians living in Shushi throughout that period. As a result there was no single Armenian left in that town in 1988. Atanesyan said the Artsax parliament must adopt a status of repressed for the Armenians who suffered from the anti-Armenian campaigns by the Azeri authorities in 1988-1992. He said necessary documents are being gathered. Chairman of the parliamentary Financial and Budgetary Commission of Artsax Mayor Danielyan, representing Shushi in parliament, said his commission was going to raise the issue for recognizing Mar 23 as the Day of the Massacre of Armenians in Shushi. A HUGE NUMBER OF NEWLY BORN CHILDREN BEING PRESENTED TO THE CHURCH On the occasion of the feast of Dearnentarach, His Holiness Aram I presided over a Church Service Wednesday, February 13, 2002. A huge number of mothers delivered their newly born children to Reverend Fathers to present them to God, as when newly born Christ, the "Light of World", was delivered to Simon, the old man, who presented the Child to God. The feast day of Dearnentarach is dedicated to the memory of our heathen ancestors. St. Gregory The Illuminator Christianized it by tying the meaning of fire with the Light Christ brought to our lives. At the end of the ceremony His Holiness lighted up a candle from the light on the altar, for the traditional fire of Dearnentarach, after which, His Holiness, surrounded by members of the brotherhood of Cilician Catholicosate, Seminarians and a huge crowd of faithful, moved to the northern courtyard of the Cathedral to light up the traditional fire. The crowd turned around the fire performing national songs devoted to St. Vartan, the General of the Armenian Army, who fought and died alongside St. Ghevont and His Companions for his Christian faith in the Battle of Avarayr. After the tradition was over, faithful returned peacefully to their houses, carrying with them the light of Dearnentarach to fulfill their houses and lives with the "Light of Christ". AR Praise Jesus Praise His Holy Name!!!!!!!!!

(202) 775-1918 Fax (202) 775-5648 E-mail: anca@anca.org Internet: <http://www.anca.org/>http://www.anca.org PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release Contact: Elizabeth S. Chouldjian February 20, 2002 Tel: (202) 775-1918 ARMENIAN, GREEK, AND KURDISH AMERICANS VOICE CONCERN TO NINE JEWISH AMERICAN GROUPS OVER LETTER CALLING FOR MORE U.S. AID TO TURKEY -- Joint Letter Comes in Wake of Official Armenian Government Protest over Statements by Israeli Ambassador Minimizing the Armenian Genocide WASHINGTON, DC - The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has joined with the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) and the American Kurdish Information Network (AKIN) in expressing their collective reservations regarding a December 18th letter signed by nine major Jewish American organizations praising Turkey unconditionally and calling upon President Bush to provide additional economic and military aid to the Turkish government. The joint Armenian-Greek-Kurdish letter, dated February 13th, includes a point-by-point response to a series of fundamental errors and important omissions in the letter signed by the nine Jewish American groups. The joint letter points out that the Jewish groups decision to avoid any reference of Turkey's past genocides and ongoing human rights abuses, "appears to represent a retreat from the Jewish American community's proud tradition of standing up for human rights, universal values, and the cause of international justice." It also challenges the assertion by these nine groups that "additional American support for Turkey," in the form of "debt forgiveness, trade concessions, and/or further International Monetary Fund relief," will serve either U.S. interests or advance American values. "In turning a blind eye to Turkey's genocidal past and ongoing human rights abuses, these organizations are out of step with the Jewish American community's proud tradition of moral leadership, and, sadly, in sharp contrast to the warm relations that have always characterized the Jewish community's relations at the grassroots level with Greeks, Armenians, and other minorities," said Aram Hamparian, Executive Director of the ANCA. "We are especially disappointed that the representatives of these groups, by advocating so aggressively and uncritically for an unrepentant perpetrator of genocide, threaten to undermine a strong Jewish-Armenian relationship that has endured for thousands of years, and that has, in the past century, been so tragically but also powerfully reinforced by our common experience as victims of genocide, who must now confront the denial of these terrible atrocities." The nine Jewish American organizations that cosigned the plea for U.S. assistance to Turkey were: the American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, Anti-Defamation League, B'nai B'rith International, Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Hadassah The Women's Zionist Organization of America, Jewish Council for Public Affairs, Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, and Orthodox Union. The full text of both the letter by Jewish organizations and the collective response by the ANCA and other Greek and Kurdish groups may be found on the ANCA website http://www.anca.org. Armenian Foreign Ministry Protests Statements by Israeli Ambassador In Armenia this week, fallout continued from a highly charged statement by Israeli Ambassador Rivki Kohen in which she downplayed the significance of the Armenian Genocide. During a February 8th press conference in Yerevan, Kohen argued that the "Holocaust was a unique phenomenon, since it had always been planned and aimed to destroy the whole nation. At this stage nothing should be compared with Holocaust." The Armenian Foreign Ministry responded to these remarks by issuing a diplomatic note of protest this week arguing that Armenia considers any attempt to reject or belittle the significance of the Armenian Genocide as inadmissible, regardless of the motivation. According to the Armenian government, Armenia has never specific drawn parallels between the Armenian Genocide and the Jewish Holocaust, considering any crime against the human race "unique" with its political, legal, historical, and moral consequences. The Israeli Foreign Ministry responded to Yerevan's concerns stating that, "Israel recognizes the tragedy of the Armenians and the plight of the Armenian people. Nevertheless, the events cannot be compared to genocide, and that does not in any way diminish the magnitude of the tragedy." The Israeli Foreign Ministry, consistent with the Turkish government's strategy of endlessly deferring judgment on the Armenian Genocide, argued that there was a lack of evidence of the Genocide, stating that, "this issue requires extensive research by a wide spectrum of people and academic dialogue that are based on testimony and proof." Turkish/Israeli Lobby Step up Cooperation on Capitol Hill: Meanwhile in the House of Representatives last week, Congressional Turkish Caucus Co-Chairman Robert Wexler (D-FL), introduced legislation "commending the Republic of Turkey and the State of Israel for the continued strengthening of their political, economic, cultural, and strategic partnership and for their actions in support of the war on terrorism." The legislation, H. Con. Res. 327, introduced on February 12th, currently has six co-sponsors including Representatives Ander Crenshaw (R-FL), Eliot Engel (D-NY), Mark Foley (R-FL), Tom Lantos (D-CA), James Moran (D-VA), and Ed Whitfield (R-KY). Rep. Wexler is currently leading a Congressional delegation to Turkey, which is scheduled to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit, President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Foreign Minister Ismail Cem, Speaker of the Parliament Omer Izgi, and other top Turkish officials. Rep. Wexler also plans on meeting with religious leaders of the Greek, Armenian, and Jewish communities. Joining Wexler on the trip are fellow Congressional Turkish Caucus members Kay Granger (R-TX), Jim Moran (D-VA), Cliff Stearns (R-FL) and Tom Tancredo (R-CO). Other legislation, H.Con. Res. 265, introduced by Rep. Albert Wynn (D-MD) last November, praises Turkey for its role in the U.S.-led war on terrorism. This resolution currently has 30 cosponsors. Statement by Professor Israel Shahak on the Jewish hatred towards Christianity Dishonouring Christian religious symbols is an old religious duty in Judaism. Spitting on the cross, an especially on the Crucifix, and spitting when a Jew passes a church, have been obligatory from around AD 200 for pious Jews. In the past, when the danger of anti-Semitic hostility was a real one, the pious Jews were commanded by their rabbis either to spit so that the reason for doing so would be unknown, or to spit onto their chests, not actually on the cross or openly before the church. The increasing strength of the Jewish state has caused these customs to become more open again but there should be no mistake: The spitting on the cross for converts from Christianity to Judaism , organized in Kibbutz Sa'ad and financed by the Israeli government is an act of traditional Jewish piety. It does not seize to be barbaric, horrifying and wicked because of this! On the contrary, it is worse because it is so traditional, and much more dangerous as well, just as the renewed anti-Semitism of the Nazis was dangerous, because in part, it played on the traditional anti-Semitic past. This barbarous attitude of contempt and hate for Christian religious symbols has grown in Israel. In the 1950s Israel issued a series of stamps representing pictures of Israeli cities. In the picture of Nazareth, there was a church and on its top a cross - almost invisible, perhaps the size of a millimeter. Nevertheless, the religious parties, supported by many on the Zionist "left" made a scandal and the stamps were quickly withdrawn and replaced by an almost identical series from which the microscopic cross was withdrawn. Then there was the long-drawn-out battle about Christian influence in elementary arithmetic. Pious Jews object to the international plus sign for it is a cross, and it may in their opinion, influence little children to convert to Christianity. Another "explanation" holds; it would then be difficult to "educate" them to spit on the cross, if they become used to it in their arithmetic exercises. Until the early 1970s two different sets of arithmetic books were used in Israel. One for the secular schools, employing an inverted "T" sign. In the early '70's the religious fanatics "converted" the Labour Party to the great danger of the cross in arithmetic, and from that time, in all Hebrew elementary schools (and now many high schools as well) the international plus sign has been forbidden. Similar development is visible in other areas of education. Teaching the New Testament was always forbidden, but in the old time conscientious teachers of history used to circumvent the prohibition, by organizing seminars or sending the students to libraries (not the school libraries, of course). About 10 years ago there was a wave of denouncing such teachers. One in Jerusalem was almost sacked, for advising her history pupils, who were studying the history of Jews in Palestine around 30-40 AD, that it would be a good thing if they would read a few chapters of the New Testament as a historical aid. She retained her post only after humbly promising not to do this again. However in recent years, anti-Christian feelings are literally exploding in Israel (and among Israel-worshipping Jews in Diaspora too) together with the increase of the Jewish fanaticism in all other areas too. The real enemies of truth here, as in many other aspects of the Israel reality, are the socialists, "liberals", "radicals", etc. in the USA. Imagine the reaction of the US Liberals, and of such papers as The Nation and New York Review of Books, not to speak of the New York Times if in any state whatsoever, the government financed spitting on a Star of David? But when here in Israel, the government finances the spitting on a cross, they are and will continue to be, quite silent. More than this, they helpt to finance it. United States taxpayers, who are of course mostly Christians, are finacing at least half the Israeli budget, one way or another, and therfore the spitting on the cross too. Professor Israel Shahak is an Israeli citizen, former concentration camp inmate during WW II, and the founder of Israel's Human Rights League. His new book "Jewish History, Jewish Religion" about Jewish hatred and contempt toward Gentiles, is highly recommended [ April 05, 2002, 06:04 PM: Message edited by: A.R. ]

I believe that those who hate others (Armenians and outsiders of any particular ethnic/religious stripe) are in fact the "enemy" among us and can only lead to our demise. AR I believe that those who sell out Armenia and Christianity are the enemies from within. Armenia is a Christian Nation and the only way that is gonna change is over my dead body. The enemy from within are the Armenians who want to make friends with Turks and Jews. TARC is the enemy from within. TARC supporters are the enemy from within and it will lead to there own demise. No Justice No Peace.

When Turkey told Israel to stop the "Genocide" of the Palestinians that is just smoke and mirrors to calm down there population. It was also a Jab at Armenia, by comdeming the Israelis and useing the word "Genocide" it makes the Turks look like a peace loving nation but in reality they are Murderous Savage Animals. Like I said SMOKE AND MIRRORS. Smart move on Turkey part but they can`t fool me. Jews Run Turks Hide Jews And Turks Guilty of GENOCIDE! Despite Ecevit's increasing criticism, earlier this week he refused to cancel a $668 million deal for an Israeli firm to modernize 170 Turkish tanks. THE BATTLE OF VARTANANTZ One of the most significant battles for the Armenian Nation was the Battle of Vartanantz.. The battle took place on June 2, 451 on the field of Avarayr, and will long be remembered as the as the greatest spiritual and moral victory for all Armenians. About the year 450 A.D., when Armenia had lost its own kingdom and was divided between the Byzantine and Persian Empires, Christianity was a strong force in the land. Thus, it was, that when the Persian King Hazgert tried to abolish Christianity and turn the people back to sun worship (paganism), the Armenians proclaimed their willingness to accept the Persian mandate in all respects providing their freedom to practice Christianity remained intact. Persian refusal to accept these views laid the groundwork for further dissension by the Armenian people. There lived in Armenia at this time, a nobleman, Vasag Suni, who with some other Armenian military leaders and noblemen leaned toward the Persian viewpoint. These men, along with other noblemen and Vartan Mamigonian, were suddenly invited to Central Persia for consultation with the King, and there, were detained and ordered to accept Sun Worship for their country. This was really part of a clever Persian conspiracy to leave Armenia without leadership and, hence, to facilitate the Persian plan to converting the common people. After consultation amongst themselves, these imprisoned military leaders, in a plot of their own, pretended to accept the Persian demands, and thus, were returned to Armenia laden with gifts and accompanied by Persian soldiers and religious leaders who would initiate the re-conversion to paganism. Back in Armenia, however, the people heard of the faithlessness of their leaders, and did not realize that it was a plot. Furious and indignant, they decided to fight even there own "traitorous" husbands and fathers in an attempt to keep Christianity alive at any cost! The great Yeghishe Badmakir , who later described the Battle of Vartanantz, related in detail of the noblemen’s wives who, forgetting their finery, pomp, and splendor, organized the common people and patriotically prepared to fight against their kin under the leadership of some of the military nobility who took command in the crisis. As soon as the Armenian nobles and soldiers set foot on their own land, they overtly passed back to the side of their nation, determined to fight for Christianity to the very end, and chased back the group of Persians who had accompanied them. Realizing that they needed military and moral aid, they appealed to another Christian people, The Greeks of the Byzantine Empire. They were refused, but their decision to fight to the end did not falter. A popular revolt broke out, led by Prince Vartan Mamigonian. Unfortunately, a group of princes, under Vasak of Suni, withdrew from the struggle and made peace with the Persians. On the eve of the battle, all soldiers took Holy Communion in the open field of Avarayr. They listened to Hovsep Catholicos speak to them on the strength of the Christian faith. They listened to the vibrant Ghevont Yeretz, whose memorable speech has since been immortalized as the driving spirit of Vartanantz. And they listened respectfully to Vartan Mamigonian, Commander-in-Chief of the Armenia troops, give his historic speech preparing the 66,000 Armenians physically and spiritually for the holy battle. The Battle started at dawn on June 2, 451. The 66,000 Armenians, under Vartan Mamigonian, encountered an army of 220,000 Persians, reinforced by squadrons of armed elephants, which were used as tanks at the time. The battle was a furious one, but a losing one for the vastly outnumbered Armenians. Brave Vartan Mamigonian fought to the last, and fell on the battlefield of Avaryr, as a martyr for Christianity, along with eight other generals. At the height of the battle, however, Vasag Suni and some of his followers realized the inevitable outcome, and defected to the Persians. Their traitorous conduct has not been forgiven nor forgotten by Armenians to this very day! Although the Battle of Vartananatz was a military defeat for the Armenians, it has gone down in Armenian history as the greatest spiritual and moral victory, and is celebrated by all Armenians everywhere with pride and respect as a personification of the freedom of thought, faith, and conscience! It is the most important national and religious Holy Day. And out of the struggle, there emerged two of the greatest figures in Armenian history: Ghevont Yeretz, spiritual leader, and Vartan Mamigonian, military leader-unsurpassed! The End Furious and indignant, they decided to fight even there own "traitorous" husbands and fathers in an attempt to keep Christianity alive at any cost! AR We must be the same way to ANY "Armenian" who trys to take the Christianity out of Armenia. These so called "Armenian" Jews like "Hagarag" are poision to Armenia and Christianity.

What is anti-semetism? April 5 2002, 6:41 AM Here's one answer. Anti-Semitism Worldwide 1999/2000 The Steven Roth Institute Tel Aviv University ITALY "While the last few years have been characterized by a low level of anti-Semitic violence, there has been a creeping proc-ess of legitimizing anti-Jewish stereotypes in Italy, provoked by public discourse over Jewish issues. The attempt to com-memorate the suffering of other persecuted groups testifies to this trend." According to the Jews who wrote the above statement, Italy's recognition of the Armenian Genocide is anti-semetism.

JUSTICE IS THE ONLY MEANS TO LASTING PEACE, DECLARES CATHOLICOS ARAM I (ANTELIAS, LEBANON) - In his Easter message, Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, referring to the prevailing situation in the Middle East, said: ` The Middle East is once more facing a dangerous situation. While our Palestinian brothers and sisters are shedding their blood for the liberation of their homeland, Israel is ruthlessly oppressing Palestinians in front of the eyes of the world. We have consistently stated that we are against all violent acts and terrorism against innocent civilians; however, we consider the defence of one's homeland an unqualified right. We welcomed the resolution of the last Arab League during its last meeting. Through this resolution the Arab world extended the hand of peace to Israel. Israel should withdraw from the occupied Arab lands and recognize the Palestian state; in other words, they should act with justice. Only then will the road to permanent and lasting peace open. We hope that all the states in the region will act responsibly, avoid terrorism and lead the region to peace through negotiations. The major world powers should help to begin a peace process that will establish total security in the region and mutual trust and cooperation among all of its peoples'.

Yes Anoush, Stanford Shaw is a Jew and he is a Revisionist of The Armenian Genocide. Stanford Shaw is not a Revisionist of The Jewish "holocaust" Domino likes to make up lies to cover up for the Jews. Here is proof below that Shaw is a Jew. Turkey and the Jews The Turkish Times September 1, 1994 ISTANBUL. Jewish communities still extant in Muslim countries tend to be weak and without a future, mere shells of the vital populations that existed half a century ago. Anyone with energy or ambition long ago fled Iran, Yemen, Syria, Egypt, or Tunisia; those who remain barely eke out a living. They have no role to speak of in the business or intellectual life of their countries; politically they count only as potential victims or as hostages to be bartered away. In The Jews of Arab Lands in Modern Times (1991), Norman Stillman accurately described them as "a small, vestigial, and moribund remnant." How different in Turkey! Here Jews, as in the West, play a disproportionate role in the life of the country. During a visit not long ago to Istanbul (the city where nearly all the Turkish Jews live), I had an opportunity to meet two of the country's tycoons, both Jewish. Jefi I. Kamhi is the flamboyant, jet-setting chairman of Profilo, a company which produces almost everything you can think of (prefabricated construction units, white goods, parts and accessories); in addition, it imports and exports, distributes consumer durables, and invests. Üzeyir Garih, CEO of Alarco, is a more restrained figure; his company contracts projects, engineers them, and specializes in building big-ticket items such as pipelines, gas storage terminals, refineries, textile factories and office complexes. Both men are active in business associations, are counted among their country's leading philanthropists, and have strong ties to the highest political circles. Thanks to their knowledge of European languages and foreign contacts, Jewish businessmen have played an important role in the expansion of Turkish companies into international markets. They also have a prominent role in fashion, advertising, and banking; for example, Jews dominate Istanbul's Tahtakale money market and effectively set the dollar exchange rate for Turkey's currency. These Jews are not small, vestigial, or moribund. And it's not just the businessmen. I didn't get to see Sami Kohen this trip, but he's been for many the foreign affairs columnist for Turkey's largest circulation daily newspaper Milliyet, where he writes a sophisticated analysis of his country's geopoliticals, as well as frequently contributing to such American papers as the The Christian Science Monitor and The New York Times. Other Jews teach at the universities and work for the government, where they serve as diplomats and hold other positions of responsibility. In short, unlike the dying Jewish communities in other parts of the Muslim Middle East, the one in Turkey is vibrant and influential. Interestingly, other Jews -- those of Israel and the United States -- also have a role in Turkey. In extensive talks with officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office, I found a consistent interest in strengthening ties with Israel, and near delight with September's Israel-PLO agreement because it hastens this process. These analysts see Israel in a variety of ways: as a trading partner, a fellow democracy to help stabilize the region, an ally which can help deal with the Iranian and Syrian regimes, and a means of access to Washington. The first-ever visit by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hikmet Çetin to Israel last November consolidated these ties and raised high hopes for the future. Which brings us to American Jews. One Turkish analyst pointed out to me that many of the leading American scholars of Turkey are Jewish (including Bernard Lewis, Stanford Shaw, and Avigdor Levy). A Foreign Ministry official who noted that Turkey's strongest advocates in the United States are Jewish, mentioning specifically Richard Perle and Douglas Feith, concluded with the comment, "We love American Jews." Turkey's government despairs of a Turkish lobby ever emerging in the United States which will be capable of standing up to the Greeks and Armenians; in the meantime, it counts on Jews to make the argument for Turkey in Washington. More effectively than anyone else, these individuals point out Turkey's importance as an ally in an especially turbulent part of the world (for example, vis-à-vis Iraq); its positive influence in the Middle East as an enduring democracy; and its importance as a model of secularism for the Muslim world as a whole. Of course, Turkey also has its share of fundamentalist Muslims, fascists and other forms of anti-Semite. Like their counterparts elsewhere, these spread conspiracy theories about Jews and fulminate against Israel. But in Turkey, unlike Iran and the Arab countries, these people don't make policy, nor do conspiracy theories dominate political thinking. Perhaps most important, Turks don't engage in violence against Jews. (It was foreigners, not Turks, who carried out the one major act of violence against Turkey's Jews, the 1986 bombing of Neve Shalom Synagogue.) There's every reason to think the good news will continue in the years ahead -- that Jews of Turkey will flourish; that Ankara's relations with Israel will expand; and that American Jews will play a valuable role explaining Turkey in the United States. With regard to Jews, as is the case in so many other ways, Turkey has successfully removed itself from the paranoia and repression of the Middle East and made itself a part of the West. My point is that the "Shaw" that you hate so much, the Shaw that you consider of being a genocide revisionist has been also accused of being a revisionist of the Holocaust... Thats my point. AR Really? Shaw a revisionist of the Jewish "Holocaust?" Who you think you kidding? Your point is mute! http://www.sefarad.org/publication/lm/044/5.html

As one proponent of the uniqueness of the Holocaust, Edward Alexander, has put it, to describe as genocidal the ghastly agonies suffered by others-the Armenians, for instance-is "to plunder the moralcapital" of the Jewish people. It is to "steal the Holocaust”. I can teach jews a thing or two about who stole what when it comes to "steal the Holocaust" and jews have no “moralcapital” to plunder. Which Came First: Holocaust or Genocide? My Turn, By Harut Sassounian California Courier Publisher We commonly use the word Genocide to describe the mass murders of Armenians in 1915, and Holocaust to describe the Jewish killings during World War II. But sometimes, the word Holocaust is used to describe the Armenian Genocide in order to draw a parallel between the Armenian and Jewish tragedies. However, some Jews object to the use of the term Holocaust to describe the Armenian massacres, or other mass murders, fearing that it would detract from the uniqueness of the Jewish Holocaust. Turkish officials are also quick to make a clear distinction between these two tragic events, lest the world condemn the Turks in the same breath as the Nazis. I remember about 20 years ago when Prof. Richard Hovannisian published an extensive bibliography of the Armenian Genocide, titled "The Armenian Holocaust," a few Jews and even some Armenians probably were not too pleased to see the word Holocaust used in conjunction with the Armenian Genocide. It turns out that the word holocaust was used to describe the Armenian tragedy long before the Jewish Holocaust occurred during World War II. An American diplomat informed me last week that while reading my book, "The Armenian Genocide: Documents and Declarations, 1915-1995," he had remembered another quotation from Winston Churchill's book, "The World Crisis, vol. 5: Aftermath," published in New York in 1929, page 157, which stated: "As for Turkish atrocities: marching till they dropped dead the greater part of the garrison at Kut; massacring uncounted thousands of helpless Armenians, men, women, and children together, whole districts blotted out in one administrative holocaust -- these were beyond human redress." I also just learned that Arnold Toynbee, in his book, "The Murder of a Nation," published in 1915, uses the words "Armenian Holocaust" to describe the massacres. For the sake of clarity, I prefer to use the more distinct terms of Armenian Genocide and Jewish Holocaust. However, next time a Jew, a Turk, or even an Armenian complains about the use of the term Armenian Holocaust, we can point to the above two quotations which predate the Jewish Holocaust. This should silence all those who accuse us of mimicking the Jews.

No time to play Jew games but Armenians can go to my forum where I posted some of your posts. You call Armenians Nazis and you say Armenians have Mongol and Jewish Blood. You have Jewish and Mongol blood but Armenians don`t, thank God. Jewish and Mongol blood? BWAHHHHHHBWAHHHHHHHHHH

Oh they have a pretty good idea about the depth. AR Cause you say so? I know Armenians who were shocked when they heard some of the stuff I posted about the Jews and there Anti Armenian Cause. The denial of the Armenian Genocide by Israels Peres lit a fire in Armenians and when that Cohn went to Armenia and denied the Armenian Genocide the SH*T hit the fan. What do you propose to do about it? You see, it's not good enough to take a megaphone and point out the problem and say "I am just pointing out the problem, I'll let others (supposedly uninformed simpletons) figure out the solution".If someone is so unperceptive as to be unable to see the problem, and needs your help, he is surely incapable of devising a solution for it. AR The internet is the best way to expose the Jews and Turks. The pen is mightier than the sword.Funny you and the your Jew trolls never talk about the "problem" So you admit that Jews are the "problem?" I post truthfull article and Jews are scared of the internet cause they can`t controll the internet like they controll all the Media and news channels. You see there is no "kosher" version when it comes to the internet. So again, what is your proposed solution? Making more enemies? That is all you have been accomplishing so far. AR Funny when other people post articles about any other ethnic group you don`t say nothing but when its about Jews you guys turn into Jewish Spazz Monkeys. Listen monkey I have no time to play your Jew Games. You never want to debate the articles I post you just want to spazz, whine, moan and cry.

Listen you, I am not a Jew but an Armenian. 1/8 Assyrian doesn't mean much of anything AR No, you are a Jew and I have saved posts from you on my forum that prove your loyalty is to Jews not Armenians. Do you really think that Armenians are THAT stupid that they don't know what is transpiring? AR Tell us what is transpiring O clever Jew? Yes Armenians know that there is a Turkish/Jewish axis but most Armenians don`t know how Jews murdered Armenians during the Armenian genocide. Most Armenians don`t know that ATATURK was a Turkish Jew. Most Armenians don`t know that it was the Jews who destroyed the Armenian genocide resolution in the US, but the Truth is coming out and Armenians are waking up, that is why you are in big time damage controll. You are not accomplishing anything positive with your stupid posts. AR Really? So posting Truthfull posts about Jews and Turks from Armenian and Jewish sources is stupied to you? So anything that exposes the Jews is stupied to you? Deal with it monkey there is much more to come. Some of them just prove that there are Jews out there like Charney, Auron and Morgenthau. AR Go to my forum and read what Israel Shamir a Jewish author has to say about Israel. He calls Israel a Nazi State. I post truthfull articles. When the Arab-Israeli conflict is resolved, the Israelis will be more honest about the Genocide AR LOL!! Thats a good one The sooner Sharon goes the better. He is the one who instigated the present unrest. I saw with my own eyes the residence he established in the center of the Moslem Arab sector of Old Jerusalem. AR Sharon is a Nazi war criminal and a Butcher! Why would any prominent Israeli Jew want to live in the middle of that squalor but to agitate the Palestinians? AR Why do the Jews live on Palestinian land? The Gaza and west bank is Occupied Palsestinian land. It is the Jews who don`t want peace. Even The Armenian Orthodox Catholicos of the House of Cilicia called the Israelis "criminals." The Daily Star (Lebanon) March 12 2002 Armenian Orthodox prelate flays Israeli `criminality' The Armenian Orthodox Catholicos of the House of Cilicia called Monday for a serious effort to put an end to Israel's `criminal practices' against the Palestinians. In a statement made on his return to Beirut from Damascus, where he participated in an annual religious gathering, Aram I Keshishian also called for dialogue and negotiations between all parties concerned in the Middle East conflict. `(This is) the only way to achieve a just, comprehensive and permanent peace,' he said, stressing the need for the Palestinians to gain their `full and legitimate rights, by the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.' Keshishian questioned why the international community especially the UN and the United States `overlooked the Israeli aggressive policy in the Middle East that has dissipated all hopes for achieving peace.' Addoum seeks information on murder of ex-LF man in Brazil State Prosecutor Adnan Addoum is due to send on Tuesday a formal letter to the Brazilian authorities, via the Lebanese Embassy in Sao Paolo, seeking any available information on the murders of two Lebanese there last Thursday. Michael Nassar, 39, a former member of the Lebanese Forces, and his wife, Marie Noel Mimassi, 31, were gunned down by masked men while waiting to repair a flat tire at a gasoline station. Addoum will also send a similar letter to Interpol for any possible information on the killing. Meanwhile, Addoum received charges filed by Gina Hobeika against her husband Elie's unknown assassins, together with the widows of two of his companions. He is expected to decide on the next legal measure to be taken in the case on Tuesday. [ March 27, 2002, 12:14 AM: Message edited by: A.R. ]

So you expose the Turkish-Jewish axis, which we all know about already AR Really? You must think you are a clever Jew. So don`t talk about the Turkish/ Jewish axis cause we already know about it? So what!! You might know about it but other Armenians might not. I`am not here for you, am here for the Armenians that read this forum and don`t post on it. Yes Armenians know about the Turkish/Jewish alliance but most don`t know how deep that alliance runs counter to the Armenian Cause. That Turkish/Jewish alliance works hand in hand to cover up the Armenian Genocide. That alliance with the help of Jews around the world helps to promote Turkey intrests. So you lose again, Sukkker!
