Yup. Zartonk, it was a PhD qualifying exam. It's part of being advanced to "candidacy" status after which they can go ahead and propse a topic followed by the last step in which they have to defend their thesis. As part of phd qualifiers, you can ask them basically anything in a certain area to see whether the student has what it takes to carry out high level research towards a doctorate.

I prefer Indian Food Edit: NOT bathing in it of course

Wow holy old question batman! I am no longer confused on this issue. I have learned the difference: Religion: You tell me what I will believe without much scientific or logical reasoning. Faith: I will tell me what I will believe without much scientific or logical reasoning.

The better question is, does wikipidia have any right answers? I had to fail a student who turned in an answer to a PhD exam question I had given that was totally wrong. I asked him where he got it and he said from wiki (they were allowed to search anywhere, including on the internet).

That's pretty cool ... now only if they could come up with some paint to block me from getting spam emails for sorryyyyy and oem software!

Wow "phone call" ... now there's a concept! My phone allows me to exchange 4 emails to set up a "phone call" and then another 12 to reschedule the time of the call. Storms, I have to get me a wii too. Thanks for reminding me

What year is the T100? Might be bad O2 sensors. Is the engine running rich? Do you get black residue around the tailpipe exit? Is the MPG bad? But tune up would be a good start (not sure how many miles you have). Also don't forget to change the fuel filter if it has one. Clogged air filter also sounds obvious but will make the engine run sluggish.

The russian one or the german one? Either way, I doubt I would be much help

Streaming OBDII data over bluetooth straight to my phone! Works on both the blazer and the jeep and basically anything made after 1995 in the US. Man I have been dreaming about this for years. I was going to add a tranny temp gauge but now I have a generic gauge that can read these parameters and possibly a TON more! A/C System Refrigerant Monitoring Status EGR System Monitoring Status Engine Load Engine RPM EVAP Vent Solenoid Command Evaporative System Monitoring Status Heated Catalyst Monitoring Status Ignition Timing MAF - Air flow rate MAP Misfire Monitoring Status O2 Sensors Throttle Position Vehicle Speed Coolant Temperature Fuel Pressure Short Term Fuel Trim Long Term Fuel Trim Intake Manifold Pressure Timing Advance Intake Air Temperature ... Best of all, the program is open source which means I will be modifying it for my own tastes!!! YAaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! I'll be posting details of my progress on this project in this thread but definitely it's been a very exciting afteroon for me! I have had autotap for a few years but recently, there have been a number of new products that have come out for OBDII that makes things like this very easy to do. The dongle I got off is based on the ELM327 chip which seems to be one of the most popular and well documented. The software I am using for now is OBD Gauge (source code is posted that site as well). I can't wait till I start playing around with the code. You can get a lot more info at www.scantool.net with some other free software as well.

Don't close your account. You can probably set up a filtering rule to make your email delete those emails automatically when they show up if you are worried about the "moral" problems. But it's not your fault .. just imagine if someone put the wrong address and their bank statements was coming to your house ... would you move?
-
No why is there a threat to you? If you want to make sure, just change your password and you will be the only one who knows it. If there is any contact info on the statement, you could try to contact the person and let them know. The bank sounds pretty dumb to me if that's the case. Also, be aware that this might be some sort of spam mail or scam. So just delete the things that are not for you. And even the things that are for you, check carefully.

If "I get what I think about" (Law of Attraction?), how come I am not living the life of Hugh Hefner? I've been thinking about being him since I was 13.

Sure and then maybe insurance will cover it after we are done with it!!!!! By the way, by "seal", I think Mos means "sell"

It all really depends on what exactly your lease contract says. I would suggest you read it very carefully because in the end, that is the only document that matters. Now with dealers, it's all about money. If they make money on a deal, they will go for it. However, lease contracts usually have huge penalties for breaking the lease early. So it might be more beneficial for them to have you break the lease and have to pay them all the extra fines and penalties ... they will say oh we are not involved and you are dealing with this and that bank (which is ture, the lease is usually with some bank or financial entity and not the dealer itself). They may even have a clause in the contract that doesn't allow the lease to be transfered. I'm not sure because I've never leased a vehicle before.
-
The best situation for you would be to transfer the lease to his name if at all possible. Then he can take over the lease and you will be free and clear. One other option is to work out a deal with the dealer but I doubt this will help ... They usually will take the car back IF you go and get a different car and pay a lot more money. Chances are, you will be very screwed on this if the ex doesn't make the payments and keep the car. Another option I can think of is if you find someone else who would be willing to take over the lease. It is kind of like "selling" but instead by transfering the lease. Considering the car is very new, I don't see why someone wouldn't just go and get a new one unless you somehow take a big hit and make it financially worth while for them.

Looks like one of the Serpazans up front might have a bladder control problem.

Saw 300 at IMAX. Was worth seeing it at IMAX ... otherwise, not worth it.

Among many Armenians, it's nothing short of "reality" But if you are equating "independence" with "consumerism", then I really really disagree with you.

A rar file is pretty harmless. No worries about a "trojan horse" from just a rar file. The rar file doesn't get "executed" ... you just unpack it (similar to zip files). But once you extract the files out of the rar file and you see things in there other than pictures, then you can delete them with no problems. In any case, ZIP or RAR won't save anything if the files are JPEG. Jpegs are already compressed. However, zip or rar can be used to group them together for easier download which is I think what the purpose is here.

Are we talking about crime/assault or just regular day to day working, shopping, paying bills, and living?

Physically perhaps but the days when physical strength really mattered are long gone. In this day and age, you are pretty much as strong as your intellect and I certainly believe even though men and women might have different mental strengths, they can each hold their own in today's society. The weakness of the female gender in this day and age mostly comes from how they are brought up. The good news is that at least in the US, there are a LOT of opportunities for women to excel in all environments (work place, schools, etc) so the excuse that it is a "male dominated world" is also starting to not be valid anymore.
