  7. Well, for those who dont know something about Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem. Few years ago there was a scandal related to the late patriarch (cursed be his name) who stole millions from the church, sold the armenian property for 10% of its price and then.... died (!). Thats it. The money's gone. And he is DEAD. who looses? US. Why? Cuz the Patriarch has the ultimate power and absolutely no control. He can do whatever he wants (and he did). Whatta shame, we were embarassed all over the country (israeli press has published some articles on this subject), leave alone the rest of the world. I am not talking about the money which disappeared without trace (or probably enriched his relatives for another 100 years). Mind you, that the treasures collected in Armenian Patriarchate during centuries of piligrimage to Old City, Jerusalem go beyond $ value. But noone can guarantee their safety, since the clrgy is all rotten there... And for last thing: these are facts. I lived in Israel for 7 years and was told this story by an armenian clerk in Jerusalem (who of course would like to remain anonimous, since they will probably through him out if he dares to speak out). Regards (to only descent people)
