  1. are they now...! and just how many can you handle? ..and si this all at once or in sucession?
  2. koo I mean what I said too..very much so...
  3. None of you have the slightest clue concerning Democracy (OK maybe Armat does..)...anyway - it is only in part (directly) concerned with elections at all... And we talk of Democracy and we talk of specific political systems of the West - which contain aspects of Democracy - and are based - in part - upon Democratic principals - but none of these are at all the same thing. Too bad - perhaps - for any of you brilliant philosophers - so enraptured by your own genius - that I feel that its a waste of my time to explain further..you'll just have to (one day, perhaps) figure it out for yourselves...and I know that nothing I would post would any of you bother to absorb anyway... ...but yeah - your all (basically) wrong (again can't speak for Armat..and I'm sure there are others who understand...etc etc)...yeah...totally off the mark...what can I say... shame/pity...and all of that....

    Superstitions?

Well that never evn crossed my mind until I read your post just now...does that answer the question BTW?...LOL
  5. Domino - thank you...cluless in love perhaps..but certain knowledges you certainly possess.. And in fact what you stated is esentially what I have been trying to communicate (more or less) ...successfully or otherwise...
  6. Sev-Marde..I truly feel for you bro...really....your the man - what can I say...wishing you the very best of luck...and what a special gal she must be..and very specially fortunate to have met a guy like you...hope she realizes it (unlike others who seem clueless often times...)....wishing you the very best!
  7. Welcome Emma... Why is it that the (young and otherwise) gals on this forum seem to really understand things...but the guys (a bit divorced from reality in general seems to me....ah well...)...LOL...perhaps reflects the outside world at large eh?
  8. Of course..you two are equally clueless about love and relationships (as well as being perhaps a bit to centered into one's own self) ...so yeah - no doubt...and good luck ever finding love you two...though of course you both will say so what? lol
  9. Again - any who take this view of things should have no complaints about the Turks. next.
  10. call em as I sees em...sorry...
  11. Well Den..speaking of taking things too seriously...LOL
  12. How about just think for a second....I must say i'm really surprised how dense some people are seeming to be - who I had thought were perhaps rather bright...so it goes...
  13. No problem..I have no interest in discussing anything with you. I find it funny that you (of all people) critique my posts as not being serious or being dogmatic or what have you...takes the cake as it were...

    Fears

AllArmenianGirl - my Dad - who grew up on a farm where snakes killed things and stole eggs I guess - hated snakes with such a passion that even if he just saw one on TV he would fly into a rage. I'm not exaggerating here either. And once I can recall telling him about a snake that I saw in the woods several miles from our home. When i came home I told him about it and he insisted on me taking him to it so that he could kill it (it was gone by then luckily)....actually I think snakes are pretty cool - and use to catch poisonous snakes with a friend when we were in high School and sell them for their venom to a local reptile institute (had a few very close calls that we still laugh about and can tell the stories like they happened yesterday)....never mentioned this to my dad - LOL...and the only animal I have ever intentionally killed was a rattlesnake...he suprised me on a trail and I happend to be carrying an old 12 gauage (1895 Winschester...belonged to my Grandpa when he was a boy!..and I still have it of course...)...blew him into tiny bits as he coiled to strike...all preatty freaky...I could only find little splotches of blood and a few (maybe) pieces of him left after...LOL
  15. Well depends...are you refering to the infamous Jewish holocaust of the Armenians? Yes its certainly in all of the history books - and the scholars are debating it - oh yes Or maybe its the Azeri Genocide by the Armenians..or the slaughter of yellow star belly sneeches by the no star belly sneeches...but of course I'm sure Dr Suesss must have been a Jew...could the poisoning really go back that far? Yeah I'm amazed by the level of knowledge and scholarship in this thread (not)...and I do challange anyone to bring forth someone or some statement that claims that because Hitler said "who rememers the extermination of the Armenians" etc - that this is a proof that it happend. I'm not surprised that any of you miss this point of this however - intentionally, unintentionaly or otherwise...
  16. LOL good one Steve..I must admit...
  17. Whats that - that you despise me? LOL And just who is expressing anger here eh?

    Turn Ons

    LOL...u tell em Sev marde!
  19. I don't understand all this phobia about sex anyway..I mean as long as the people are somewhat mature (not kids) and there is nothing forced or such about it..and of course - one should be aware and be safe with it...but otherwise I don't see where its such a bad thing...good adult fun! I mean really now! ...really now...
  20. Really - frankly i have no idea what he is talking about - except for being his usual idiotic self...
  21. This is a very good point. But regardless of all of the various good points folks have made on this thread and legitimate perspectives etc - IMO - most are missing the point. The point is IMO - that this poor gal is hurting right now...so its great to philosophize - but i think what she needs are soem good sugestions for the now - such as Anileve made! The rest is all somethign to consider at a later date when the hurt has lessened...Anyway...
  22. Hm thats funny Axel...I'm a feminist and i don't hate men!
  23. SANTANA LYRICS "Wishing It Was" (feat. Eagle Eye Cherry) Beauty and grace is what touches me most Good time can put me in fear Always feel safe when things are bad So I cannot let you come near It seems that I thrive on the dark side of things I always feel alive when the death bell rings Now you have come and bring out the tears in me Pain never makes me cry, but happiness does It's so strange to watch my life go by Wishing it was Wishing it was more like a fantasy Where everyone surprises me Wishing it was This feeling won't last cause I cannot survive I tell you I've been here before When it's movin this fast It's a matter of time One of us walks out that door It seems that I thrive on the dark side of things I always feel alive when the death bell rings Now you come and you bring out the tears in me Give this some thought And I'm sure you will know This is the way it must be Emotions will rise, emotions will flow You bring out the tears in me It's so strange to watch your life walk and where everyday I've been burning the candle at both ends And lied the truth I can't pretend This is why I will not stay baby Just like that I'm on my way
  24. Suffocating? Do you meanin this forum? LOL ...or in my marraige? Well yes - sometimes - but ussually not as we communicate very well and give each other a great deal of latitude and are very supportive of each other - in what ever we do -in general. I maintian a great many of my hobby interests and contacts with friends while at the same time I am a full partner at home - with the houshold and children and everything. I alos am very open to my wife doing her own thing. But yes, especially with children - and as great as they are - and they are - indescribably so if you don't have any - to explain the total pride and joy etc..but yeah you lose your spontineity a good deal - and you are responsible - there is just no getting away from it...and sometimes it is maddening certainly..but my boys are very cool - and we are buds - and I bring them along when i interact with my buds and I can and do do things with them / involve them that certainly lessens any sense of soffocation (and we do things and trvel as a family - we don't get so tied down etc..and have been doinfg so since my eldest was 3 months old and we took him to Hawaii with us!) ....now I do hope this was what you were refering to...LOL ...or were you somehow refering to face sitting or living with pollution or some such? Don't know (but I can hold my breath very well! LOL)
  25. ...and its just the right...dare I say..evolved...perspective IMO. And like Ani says in her wonderful sig (thanks Ani Jan!) - if attitudes were more laisez faire about gender roles and if there wasn't descrimination and bottonholing of people etc - well there would be no need for any -isms in this regard...peole would jjst be open and accepting and not be biased or descriminate...seems simple to me rally..but aparently not to many others...and so sure - i can admit that to have a "movement" and to have to perhaps be in ones face and what not is not ideal..but it may jst be necessary sometimes considering the circumstances. And if I were a women I would expect nothing less! (then to be treated as a full human!)
