that's not the point... the point is that a "real" artist promotes his work for what it is, not for what it is not... or by putting others' work down... but his attitute was more of a jelousy than anything else.... There are many legitimate reasons for one to lower the amount of their contribution or not donate at all this year. But I have absolutely no respect for those who bring the excuse of the protocols and elections for not donating. It tells me that those people have been contributing for a social status, acceptance, or to boast about it among their clique, and would rather give their blood than their penny. For those, the protocols and elections were blessing, because now they have an excuse for not contributing.
