Well, i just watched the American Beauty film. The film that gives a picture of an american family. Well, first of all it is one of the sickest films i've ever seen. Still don't understand how they've got 5 oscars or something. Probably because it is made by Americans and they really understand it. The film shows how sick society can there be. Look, father is absased with his daughter's girlfriend, mother is on the side with the boss of her company, daughter wants to kill her father, neighbor who acts as a gay hater is actually gay himself. Well can anything or any other society be as sick as that, only english or russian probably. Artur

Armine, you have a right to think or call me as you want, this won't change anything. But, questions you raise are incorrect and moreover are not even applied to the topic. Then DoC asked about aunt, which does not make any sence, i said i've got nothing to do with my aunt, because she's got husband and it is for him to decide to throw her away or forgive her. Armine jan, the people who are, as you say, changing are mainly Yerevanians. I've been to many European countries and I've learnt how to really appreciate my values and traditions. And it is obvious that for you my views are old fashioned, but that's the difference of opinion and from the God's will our values will stay in our family and will never change. God be with You! The Armenian economy looks set to take a major upswing this year, having expanded in the first quarter at a highest rate in a decade, President Robert Kocharian announced on Thursday. Official data unveiled by Kocharian at a cabinet meeting show Armenia's GDP 12 percent up from the same period last year. A 20 percent rise in industrial output, helped by a nearly 30 percent surge in exports, accounted for a large part of the gain. Kocharian told ministers that this year "may become decisive for the Armenian economy if the current trends continue." He praised the government for the "unprecedented" macroeconomic performance, denying persisting speculations about Prime Minister Andranik Markarian's eventual sacking. The results of the first quarter are well above the government's 6 percent minimum growth target for the entire year. "All this is encouraging," Kocharian told reporters after presiding over the weekly cabinet session. "We must work actively and consistently to be able to keep up this pace for the rest of the year." Asked about the possibility of sweeping changes in Markarian's government, he said: "I don't see the need for changes. I think the situation is generally stable and positive. There will be changes only if they [the ministers] give me grounds for that." Despite five years of single-digit growth, Armenia is still reeling from the economic slump of the early 1990s that saw its GDP shrink by half. Economists say that a tangible improvement in low living standards requires several more years of growth at the rate of at lest 10 percent. Kocharian also acknowledged a "very serious" link between Armenia's chances of economic recovery and the resolution of Artsax conflict- an apparent shift in the position he held as recently as three years ago. "The settlement of the Artsax conflict would give a quite strong boost to economic development," he said. Kocharian and other key ministers who forced Levon Ter-Petrossian into resignation in February 1998 had disagreed with the then-president's belief that quick economic recovery is impossible without peace with Azerbaijan. © Armgate

Armine jan, i never said that women are some subhuman, which cannot dicide what they do etc. You got me wrong here. Any Armenian girl has a will to do what she wants to do. However, in regard to my younger sister, i am her brother and whatever i do is good for her. I'd never be able to shout at her or something like that, because she gets my word from the first time. The thing is that your brother only cares about you and for him there is nothing more important than you. It doesn't matter if he is younger or not, you are his sister. And if you go against it will really disapoint him in the way he sees you. Brothers are there to protect their sisters. Make sure that she gets the best in this life, but what your brother does is the same. In every brother there is this feeling about his sister. Moreover, my sister is way more intelegent than me in studying, piano, creating, when i was at her age. She is a little genius. And pls don't say "stupid things like that". If you recon your brother says stupid things to you, then i question your respect to him. He asks this because you are his sister. And if someone looks at my sister i will break his neck. At the end of the day the world where are living is far away from perfect. And this is not a habbit, it is feeling inside you, it is love for your sister and careness, and nothing else.
