Unfortunately you are right. and i can't argue against you, but why are we here and some of our families there? I dont' know about you, I would rather spend my life alone here and try to work hard and make my family live there happy and with dignity and pride of armenianism, after all i would rather rase my kids there than here. I don't mind supporting the few families of mine that ask for help to just keep them in Armenia. our armenians lack the spirit of businessman, we only think about living happy, driving the nice care and eating the good food and putting those gold rings in our hands. well if you can live with the fact that your ian, yan will vanish with the years passing then go for it and change it right now and God help you earn those millions, but most of us rather keep that little dignity of being armenian that is left to us. We have been torchured all along our history and in no time we had said enough, well i guess we have to stand up now even though its late but with the little population we have we still don't mind proving ourselves and the only way to do that is to have our population not leave our mother land.

I like to meet one person who had seen the improvments made in Armenia and Gharapagh with the money collected ever year for that matter. What do you guys think about sending the money as is to armenia or investing it in American soil and benefitting from the interested and revenue made on it to help armenia continiously. After all many other nations tried that idea and succeeded in getting their genocides recognized by USA. we should stop thinking principaly and start thinking politically and economically. without money no power without power no politics. I'm curious to know what the most young generation from 18-22 think about this topic. i think everyone is free to date who they want, but maybe we should consider changing our last names before we start thinking of dating other cultures. not because we are supposed to date armenians purly but voxpam en azkin vor irants axchignere chen gardsum irants dgheke laven date anelu namar. besides no way in any culture that couples match if they are mixed from 2 different cultures specially if the cultures have opposite or different views about life. it is related to religion, language of communication, be open minded to other cultures but build your families based on your culture, if you can marry someone whome you can convert to armenian i am all for it because i'm just as good as an american because i speak their language and abide by their laws in the country, therefore, an american speaking armenian and abiding by my cultures traditions is just as good of an armenian as i am. for those who try to make a joke of this matter, it is nice to joke about problems but really think deeply and try to answer the matter seriously and post it in a way that relates to specially our teenagers, youngsters who grow up ignoring the importance of our cultures traditions.

I don't actually mind her sexism but for her to try to solve problems and still not giving the source a chance to heel itself is like she is contradicting herself and she doesn't seem to like the problem to go away and she would rather complain about it than solve it. but i know and i like a girl to be sexist too. for some certain reasons.

You are a sexit woman and no matter how much you claim equality and ask men to stop these old fasion thoughs you are still sexist against all men. your thoughts should not be directed twards all men. unless you hate men completely and you know what i mean then it is ok. because you contradict yourself when you try change men yet you still blame them for the things that not all men do. direct your men to "some" who fit your description. yet i think you hvae a hard time doing so too because in nature you are sexist and you try to put men down as much as possible. not a good attitude for a straight woman. you will end up not liking some qualities in every man you meet that doesn't mean they are not suited for you. no one is perfect. if every one was the same and speaking of mean. then you would meet the first guy in your life and if you liked him you would stay forever, if you didn't like him you would change your preference. but thats not how life goes. so suk it up and open up your doors to negotiations. meaning be open with your partner and find out where he stands in your ideas rather than judgin him before hand and making the cut decision.

I think you should not even ask them because you know your guy will lie about them. if you really wanna find out look at your history with him, and try to analyze his attitude change. see you gotta be a psychaiatrist to some extent to live with someone. I look at my gf and know right away if there is something wrong with her. I don't have to ask her to know it. after all thats what makes you a couple. but the minute you ask him those questions you are telling him to his face that you are accusin him of cheating. and any guy would not wanna be called that. i expect girls don't like that either. but try to give your guy the benefit of the doubt and let him explain it by asking him indirect questions. meaning the phrasing of questions play a very important roll in making the guy feel more confortable answering them without getting offended. just a very simple example on your questions. 1: why were you looking at her. rephrase with a joke or smile. "she was dressed up nicer than me thats probably why you were looking at her" and just try to imagine how you express it and how your guy reacts to it. it is much easier to joke about a problem and find the answer than to ask it directly and get nothing. after all which one would your preffer to do?

your deffinetly right about the choice. it is the woman's choice. however, it is also the mans choice to judge the woman. see its a 2 sided issue not all armenian guys look for virgin woman. and not all armenian girls are not virgin. and when i say this next thing i mean it for both men and women. if your not virgin and are looking for a virgin as alife partner, forget it your a hipocret. you might or might not get it but the chances of your lady or your man respecting you are odd. and most of these cases end up failure and a perfect example is the rate of divorces in the USA. why is it that Armenian families have better chances of lasting longer than the not armenian ones. because we are committed and we like to stablize our lives after marriage. thus, we look for someone we are cofortable with in every aspect. I can't live with a women that i know she had slept with every person she had dated or some sort of that. I can live with the fact that she was in on serious relation and on the verge of marriage and did not happen. yet she did sleep with the guy. that is almost as good as marriage. but if you expect something from your partner, then commit to that thing yourself first. you want a virgin partner, be a virgin before you think that. if not then you can enjoy the pleasures with every person you date. after all thats the modern life now adays unfortunately. but to make a choice i want to clerify to you. that just as you make a choice to be not virgin, people have a choice to stereotype you in eithe ra good or a bad way. and you can't stop that from happening. kinda like everything in life. you don't have a choice to be a girl and love guys, but if you love girls then people will call you what they call and youcant change that. thats the term given for such a condition.

True parents should not worry about the girl's virginity but think of it this way and see if it makes sence. if you are one of those who thinks he/she doesn't wanna sleep with someone who had shared that part with another person besides you then you should look for someone the same kind. and i guarantee you that many many guys think they can have sex but not their girls. and they are somewhat hipicrots if i spelled it right. but if you do think that your future partner should not have shared his/her part with another person besides you then you should consider doing the same. but if you dont' care about your partner sharing it with someone else then feel free to do it and not worry about what parents think because you can hide it from parents but not from your partner with whome you'll live the rest of your life.

Love is not just sex, neither it is just silence, nore it is both combined. sex comees because of love not with it, silence is boring and breaks the love. Actuall meanin of love is to be able to share you rinternal feelings and emotions with someone who is not inside you and make them part of you. without having to worry about what he/she might or might not like, and it has to be 2 sided for it to succeed. in order to share your feelings you have to beleive that the person you are sharing with deserves your honesty because you should not expect anything in return exept the same things you look for in them.

I completely agree with you. Its unfortunate that we claim we are united although tashnaks and ramgavars, and hnchiagians are all seperated in this sad event. each one is claiming to be the right party. and 100% agree that by calling those names to turks we don't feed any single child in armenia. but the fact of the matter is that people still do it and when you come to critisize them, they say you are not armenian and shame on you and start talking all this bs. so I think it is time that we give up all this bull shet and start acting as if we really want to get the genocide recognized in the worl. remember it is not a muscle war it is a brain war. and we lack that now days.

But see thats the problem man. armenian schools are too expensive. people can not afford it. and in usa they don't let somebody study for free in those schools. thats our biggest problem in education. if you go to other countries, armenian schools provide free study for those who can not afford and they charge the church for it. and the church pays for them from the charities and donations they get from rich people. over here there is no such a thing. if you don't have 3000 dollars a month, you don't have armenian education.

I know what you mean Vahe. Also when i say one day of school i know it won't but the point is. We have i don't know how many million armenians in us. almost 3/4 of the youth in here don't speak, read, write english at all. and some do but don't want too. it is an unfortunate fuct and i really get hurt to see that. in this free country no armenian wants to learn his or her language. I assure you that in the more concervative countries such as middle east and some parts of europe it is prohibited to teach other languages without the concent of the dep. of education. and despite that, people still teach and they have better armenian learners than in here. there are a lot of rich armenians in this country, however, each one of them is bussy filling more green in his/her pockets. why do we even claim to be armenian if our most valuable attitude(helping each other) has already been extinguished. instead of educating our kids the cuase of april 24 and telling them to explain it to the world in a rather political point of view, we try to go to the old way of protesting which doesn't bring us a fortune. see things start with one or two people then the whole population knows about it. if 300 million people in us and only 2 million of them know about april 24 then it is no use but there is benefit if those 2 million people start spreading and educating the rest of the people about our cause, then in hopefuly 3-4 years we will acheive our goals. and we would have more votes to come up with a good politician who fights for our rights. and how does this happen? through educating... educating... educating our young generations and creating strong bases for our cause. see jewish people started their journy and finished it why because they increased their supporters by explaining to them.

I don't mean to disrespect Our Armenian Women. vise versa if you go back and read it over. the second posting i had i agreed that our armenian guys are looking for good girls in night clubs and assuming they are no good and overgeneralizing that all armenian girls are not good as they understand it. The issue here doesn't only concern guys looking for girls. I know there are a lot of old fashion armenian guys who think the wife has to cook, wash, and take care of the house without any complaints. It is not the old days no more. Too many people have really responded right on the target and you are one of them. I have 3 sisters and 2 of them are married. and I find it very hard to see that they want to control my sisters. I am 100% against that.

One question has been in my mind ever since i came to us. Almost all Armenians take the day off on april 24th of every year. they claim to protest and ask for our rights. however, does our fight only limit to that specific day? if so then shame on us. we are good in prtesting in front of the trukish embassy only one day and rest look for our fun for the rest of the year. My suggestion is if you are a student, missing one day of your school means you missed one day to tell your friends and teachers and your fellow students about the Massacer that turks did to us. and you also missed one day of education which gives the them confidence that our armenian students arn't educated enough to fight for their rights in the future. if you are a businessman, don't take the day off, rather work and donate your profit of that day to armenian charities. If you think they don't deserve, then keep your money but make some on that day. why? because thats gonna be money saved in an armenian family which may be useful in the future for the whole armenian society. if you don't work or study and live at home always, try to tell people about the armenian genocide rather than prtesting. explain it to them with proven facts. and if you don't know about it, i think its better that you sit on that day and learn about it rather than protesting for an unkwon reason. If you are responding and you are a member of the ANCA then save my and ur time by knowing that ANCA did no good in getting our rights back. Its members are just happy to have that lobby in the white house and are enjoying their lives with the Hye Azk's money donated to them to do their jobs. I know the gomide member who travles to armenia every 3 months on the gomide's account. all he does is make more and more songs and sell concert tickets to Armenians. the Cause? self interest. If you are working for the Armenian cause then think before you work, because you might screw it up more than it already is.
