Exactly, people are hungry, unemployed and isntead of investing to solve these problems, some build churches, as if there is a shortage of them.
I try to understand Dispora- they may not trust the government either, they see the country is robbed and sold, so they prefer building churches.
However, not many of them see the Armenian reality and tend to blame those leaving the country. There is an intensive financial flow from Diaspora to Armenia, but it does not affect people's life standards. The financial flow does not stop, so I guess the current state of affaires is mutually beneficial both for the government and Diaspora.
