Several weeks ago www.genocide.com was hacked by the Turkish deniers of the Armenian Genocide. Lately, the Web site has been updated. Now it is being moderated. Please, register and participate in the discussion!

I was permanently banned from day.az/forum for having an Armenian signature that said "Mounts waiting for us-we'll come to you." Another reason was the fact that they could not provide counterarguments on cultural genocide of the Armenian heritage in Turkey and in Azerbaijan. By the way, Turks have been singing the Armenian song "Sari Aghchik" as "Sari Gelin" for a long time now. But Adana Lamentation is unique. It's a song of massacre of 30,000 people. By the way, if you want to listen to the original Armenian version, you have to get the one from Zulal.org. I have it, but copyright prohibits me to publish it online. The other version, like Sarkissian, etc., are not better than the Turkish one.

Domino as you know the term genocide was coined by Raphael Lemkin and he was one of those who wrote the convention. Therefore, we have to accept genocide as it is described by international laws. Domino, do you imagine how big is 30, 000? 30, 000 people where sluaghtered and burnt in a few days and you say that "there are no clear evidences it has been planned by any authorities"? I dont think it is that easy to kill 30,000 people. Do you think of a way to slaughter 30,000 without planning? If even Adana's holocoust was not the part of the Genocide, the song "Adana Lamentation" is accepted as Genocide song.

Let me bring you an example. Please dont be offended. You grandfather was shot by your neighbor on June 17, 1901 because your neighbor wanted your grandfather's home and eventually destroyed the home after shotting to death your grandpa and raping his daughters. Because of the corrupted police, the neighbor of your grandfather was not put on trial. Your grandfather's daughter (might be your mother or aunt) composed a mourning song in the memory of your grandfather and that song was played in your home on every June 17. The grandson of your grandfather's neighbor denies that his grandfather has killed yours and has destroyed your grandaps home. Somehow that grandson knows about the mourning song composed by your mother. He takes that song, changes the lyrics, has a party in his home [sic- in your grandpas destroyed home] on June 17 and plays that music as loud as he can and 10 naked girls are dancing belly-dance. Now I ask you the same question. What could be better?

Gamavor please watch you words. The word FEDAYI has been used for a long time and 80% of Armenians have used it during the genocide. If you do not like a word (apparently you do not like it because it is Arabic. Dont be a blind racist) it doesn't mean that the rest of the people who use it are stupid. And as skhara mentioned the word Hayduk is a Serbian word meaning "պարտիզան" in Armenian. Fedayin in Arabic means martyr. It has been adopted in the Armenian lexicon as "person who will die for its nations freedom", thereas martyr.
