Dear Bellthecat you are right. We have one problem that we olways try to find everywhere some Armenian. Armenians are small nation and it's inpossible that every famoust people all over the world was Armenian or had some Armenians roots. For exemple did you heard that Princess Diana was in 1/10 or something like this Armenian ? I don't think so and what does it mean 1/10? I'm glad only that it's not said for exemple 1/100 or 1/100000. It would be very ridiculous.

I heard from my teacher from Universty that there was Turkish millitaru zone and they din't aloved any one to come in. They did't want even archeologist there. Of course archeologist from other country. I thing that goverment don't make any reconstruction. When I see the pictures of Ani made years ago and now there is no change. Beside of it there is a lot great Armenian monuments in Anatolia and they are slowly destroyed. A lot of churches became to be mosque or even if they din't there are no crosses on them. I read some turkish books about monuments of Anatolia and Ani. They say of cours that it was build by Gagig I or other king but they never write that it was Armenian king and that Ani was one of capitols of Armenia. They want Armenian tradition and histry of this region to be forgotten.

I would like to have Armenian church in my neighbourhood. All this candle lighing outside and Armenian liturgy.I so miss it. And of course this Armenian neigbours drinking coffee with you every morning. Old women telling your fortunes from it's glass. Dream....It's only dream... In Poland you don't have neigbours because they treat you like stranger. Maybe sometimes teel you hello and it's all. In Warsaw is only ortodox Russian church and in Poland there is only one Armenian Catolic church. In Poland live a lot of Armenians but in spide of it there is any Armenian Apostolic church. Armenian have a very bad opinion here. When you tell someone that you are Armenian they ask you "O?! you have conection with mafia!!!!" Ones I had Armenian neigbours for 3 mounts. I help them a lot because they were Armenian. After they leaved I heard that they wanted to rop my home and told very bad things about me to other people I was very sad. Sometimes I think maybe it's better to not have any Armenian neigbours. But now I have one 5 minutes walking from my home. And it's GREAT!!!!!!!!

I olso heard some bad opinions about Armenians from Turkey. Some Armenian from Armenia said me that they are Turks not Armenians. Maybe because there are a lot of Armenians in Turkey who don't want to show their Armenians roots. If you live in America and you are turkish Armenian maybe others think that you must be Armenian fanatic, dashnak or some Armenian socialist. I read some of your replies. You show your aversion to Turcs very strong and maybe some people are afraid of it. They think that your only subject to talk is Genocide and consider you as a little bit fanatic or even rasist. Maybe olso some Armenians think why two millions of Turkish Armenians died in Genocide and your family not. I don't know. Personally I like Turkish Armenians. My mother-in law's family was from Alashkert. They lost 90% of their family. His grandfather was one of Dashnaks who in revenge preper killing of Turkish leader. Now I don't remember which one. In Turkey were born olso a lot of great Armenian people like Andranik, Hrair,Grigor Zohrab, Eruhan, Ruben Zardarian and a lot more. Don't worry you have a great heritage.

I have one turkish friend. Her name is Emine. She has very sweet temper and always want to help everyone.After her boyfrien's dead she became very religious but olso din't changed her behaviour.I knew olso some other girls. They were tipical village girls and very simple-hearted. When I was in Turkey I made friend with one family but they were Arabs from Hatay. However all of them did'nt know anything about Armenia and Armenians.

I know some Turks who don't deny the Armenian Genocide and want to know something more about it. I met even some turkish people in Turkey who are not affraid to talk about it.But there are olso a lot of people who don't heard about it and they can't belive that it was happend. Sometimes Armenians warning me to not tell in Turkey that I'm Armenian. But I always say it. Sometimes some intelligent Turks starting to tell me about great Armenians in turkish history or something like this. But most of them don't know anything just that Armenian are their neigbours. One day when I said that I'm Armenian one turkish man asked IN ARMENIAN "Hayes du?" I was so suprised. He said that his best friend is an Armenian and he learned some words from him.

How many of you could have a turkish friend,husband or wife? Have we got a lot of antipathy to modern Turks or not?

I olso heard about war and mobilization in Armenia. But one of my friends is now a soldier in Kharabah and he said it's not true.

Doc jan, Unfortunatly I don't have any sister. My husband has 3 sister but they are not similar to me. What about Polish women... They are sometimes beatifull but I don't like their character and style of life.

I have blue eyes and I don't have dark hair rather middle dark. My father is Polish but he is more dark then I or my mother who is blond. Among Armenian from Armenia in Poland I always must explain who I am. They olways say me that I'm not be similar to Armenian because I don't have black eyes or hair. In Armenia I don't have such problems. When I was in Turkey, Greece or other country when I said that I from Poland I always listened : Yes.. from Poland but ofcourse you are not a Polish! I don't understand some of Armenians. You must be black like niger to be consider us an Armenian? I don't speak very very good Armenian but better then a lot of Armenians from Armenia and I know history and read a lot of Armenian books which was never seen by a lot of Armenians. Can I feel myself Armenian or not? Why Armenian from Hayastan think that they are more Armenian then other from diaspora?.

I learned Turkish in University. First year was terrible with a lot of turkish grammar. Then in fourth year came one charming women from Ankara and she learned us songs. Everyone was forced to stand up and sing like in kindergarden. It was very funny especially if someone wasn't be able to sing normal.

Polish Armenians don't speak Armenian. Long time ago Polish Armenians spoke in some kipchak dialect and they wrote in Armenian alphabet. I wonder why people who always talk about their Armenian roots or even wrote some books about Armenia and Armenians don't try to learn their nation lenguage. A lot of them speak fluently rusian and other languages. Why not Armenian?

Araksya jan, Sometime he didn't smile ofcourse because he is an Armenian guy and he has his humours but usually he loves smiling and jokes.But maybe after 20 years together he wan't be so lovely. Who will know.....

If you want true I don't think about my body at all. When I'm hungry I eat how much I can. I don't thing that I will be fat or something like this. Maybe after 30 I will thing a little bit about it.I don't know. I think that usually a lot of Armenian women don't care about their body how much they should. I don't know why.
