I don't hear anyone complain.... I beg to differ. I speak better Dutch than 99% of the Dutch but I learned the language when I was 7. For an adult it is much harder to let go of an accent, unless one goes to a specialist. That does not mean they can't speak the language. In fact, if they're so skilled and smart, how do you explain the fact that I (and most foreigners I know) are at the top of their class and are not even trying? Just because they were allowed into the county means they have to put up with all the racist, prejudice bullshit? I think not. They have to be 'grateful' and take everything as it comes?

The point is that when someone comes here to this so 'extremely tolerant' country and can't even get a job because they have a funny accent pisses me off. I would have less of a problem with prejudice if the Dutch would just admit it, but they insist on telling the world how damn tolerant they are, when they are in fact not. As for the hijab, I think that people can believe whatever they want to. Nobody tells me to take my cross of my chest and I appreciate that. So I don't tell moslems how to dress or what to wear either. I does not bother me if they're wearing a hijab. Somehow the fact that western countries boast about their 'multicultural and multireligious' societies is not really in accordance with telling people what to believe or what to wear is it?
