  1. Gasparian told me that because of the bad organisation of the concert he had arrived only an hour earlier, so he had no time to change anything. Yes, the pamphlet said that Gasparian plays "Turkish style" music.

    Death Penalty

I don't think it's worth to pay tax in order to keep people like child molesters and serial rapists/killers alive. I don't believe these people can be 'cured'. Just my opinion.
  3. Last night I went to a concert of Djivan Gasparian here in Holland with my family. Arriving there I see a pamphlet with "Turkish Style" music on it. Guess who's on the cover among Turkish dancers and singers and other musicians, yep you guessed it, Djivan Gasparian. Of course the whole Armenian community was shocked. Not only does Djivan's music even come near Turkish style music, also a lot of the music he plays was written at the time of/for, the AG. After the concert he came out to thank the Armenians who came to see him and he was very upset, naturally. He said at first: "I never knew until today that I played Turkish music", semi-joking, but you could see he took it pretty seriously. Then I realised, we are all the same to them (to Westerners). What do you think of this outrage, offending a 70-year old hero of Armenian music in this way?
  4. Lol it may work once but you can get kicked/banned for that. Besides, it goes againt the principle of sharing: if all people were like you, there would be nothing to download.
  5. I've actually heard Turkish historians say that Armenians were going to commit a genocide on the Turkish people and failing to do that blamed the Turks for their 'justice'. Really, reading Piggy's post makes me vomit. Please oh please go away, you have no idea what a sensitive issue this is, and in fact I believe, as some other people here do too, that you are downgrading this issue with your ignorant assumptions. Leave us alone, we all know the truth.
  6. I can as well but can't be bothered really
  7. I agree with Sasun, for Marxism to work everybody must think the same way and that will never happen. There will always be people who think for themselves. It's just not realistic to say that all men should be equal.
  8. Isn't abolishing slavery one of way of making the best of it? I never said we should let everything be, I said we should do what we can. But some people believe we can change human nature, which we cannot.
  9. You can't have peace and order and harmony as long as you have humans. Period. We just need to accept that and move on, try to make the best of it.
  10. Any one of you heard of Direct Connect? You'll never get a virus or a corrupt file here but you need some gigabytes share to get on the hubs. http://www.dcplusplus.com http://www.neo-modus.com
  11. Well Turks were never a real people anyway. They descend from the Mongols, from whom they inherited their thirst for blood, IIRC. Reading this stuff about "it was 1.2 mil not 1.8 mil" just makes me mad.
  12. http://www.vi.nl/vi/show/id=62802/contenti...55296/sc=f1e079 It's a Dutch site but what it says is that an Armenian striker is now topscorer in Europe. He has already scored 45 (!) goals this season. Just look at the ladder down. Something to be proud of I think. Maybe Armenian football is on the rise.
  13. Armat try Razbirat.com, it has some nice Armenian music, including some classics.
  14. Van Nistelrooy just scored 3 goals vs Scotland and I think they illustrate your point. They were not great goals, but they were goals. I think the most important thing in a national team is passion, willing to fight for your country, and I think we certainly have that. Now the only thing they have to work on is consistency.
