here's an article my friend wrote: Our Christian God, represented by Christ the son, was a deity known to all gentiles of Mesopotamia and Asia Minor within the ancient civilized world, prior to our common era. When are we Christians, especially evelgelicals within America, going to realize this obvious fact and stop preaching a theological paradoxy that is, in essence, known today as Judeo-Christian philosophy? Christ had more in common with Zoroaster's Ahura Mazda than with Moses' Yahweh. Bible-Belt morons within America put too much emphasis on the shallow literal interpretations of traditional Jewish scripture and not enough on the vast and complex histories, philosophies and theologies of the ancient Near East and Asia Minor. Objective and informed analysis of Christ reveals that nothing within his nature and essence is Jewish. Though, he did live within the Jewish community of Palestine during the first century A.D., Christ was God on earth. Humanizing him, and making him out to be a mere Jew, or a Scandinavian for that matter, is an affront to the universal reality of an omnipotent God. Furthermore, Christ?s social philosophies and all subsequent theologies and rituals associated with orthodox Christianity are very and exclusively non-Jewish in nature. The Christian Trinity?s universal nature has nothing in common with Jewish tribal divinity known as Yahweh. Moreover, the following theological rituals and concepts are not Jewish and/or Hebrew: the Holy Trinity; the Holy Spirit; the son of God; the nature and order of the angelic world; the need for universal proselytizing; nature of the spirit world; sainthood; the virgin giving birth to God; God descending to dwell with mankind; God being all-good compassionate and loving; last judgment at the end-days; clergy celibacy; prayers offered for the dead; cleansing and purification rites through water; partaking in a communal bread breaking ritual; and finnally, the nature of the demonic world, Satan and heaven/hell. Nevertheless, The aforementioned theological concepts and rituals were existent and fully developed within Babylonian, Hellenistic and, especially, Zoroastrian traditions. The apostles, most of whom were Hellenized Jews, seemed to have gone to great lengths to directly connect Christ to Hebrew scripture within their writings in order to convert the Jews from their primitive and corrupt faith. Unfortunately, our present day understanding of Christ is primarily based on this very contrived attempt. The attempt of the apostles, however, would prove to be a futile effort. For Christ, as God on earth, was such an indigestible theosophical concept for a great majority of Jews that he was mercilessly put to death. I for one am not surprised how quickly Jews crucified Christ, they simply did not and could not recognize him for who he was. Christ represented something that did not exist within Jewish mindset and culture. Concurrently, I am not surprised how fast Greeks, Assyrians, Armenians, Copts, Ethiopians and Romans embraced the faith, for they DID recognize God?s message. Moreover, realize that the first people on earth to worship the infant Christ were three Zoroastrian priests (known biblically as Magi?s) who traveled into Palestine most probably from Persia or Armenian. The social egalitarianisms, universality of God and the theological concepts represented by Christ were familiar to the ancient gentiles of the civilized world. This, in essence, explains the unprecedented and astronomically fast spread of the faith. In short, Christ was the God known to all gentiles under different names and forms at different times and, for reasons yet unknown, he was born in Palestine. However, it is crucial to remember that Palestine at the time was heavily populated by Greeks, Romans, Armenians, Phoenicians, Assyrians and Persians, in addition to Canaanites (Modern Palestinians) and Jews. Moreover, the general region of Palestine, which was adjacent to the great pagan theological centers of Alexandria and Babylon, was also home to many ?pagan? Greco-Roman and Zoroastrian centers of worship. What's more, the Jewish biblical traditions, which were compiled within the first century A.D., are not original theological concepts and are nothing more than the interpretations of the aforementioned pagan traditions that they were exposed to upon their migrations into the civilized world from the depths of the Arabian Desert. It needs to be mentioned that ancient Babylon was a great center of religious worship within which existed good and evil, truth and lie, God and Satan. Abraham was a Babylonian, Noah was a Babylonian, the Garden of Eden was located north of Babylon (historic Armenia/Persia), and the world was repopulated after the Great Flood from the Armenian region of Mount Ararat. Thus, it is easy to see that our biblical foundations are exclusively non-Hebraic in nature and are actually Aryan in origin. It was during the captivity of the Hebrews (sixth century B.C.) within Babylon that the tribal deity Yahweh began taking more recognizable forms that are familiar to Christians today. Observing religion within this context, it is easy to draw conclusions that Christianity was the natural continuation and/or evolution of the primordial realization by civilized man of the universal God. This pre-ancient realization by man clearly echoes the biblical accounts of the Garden of Eden, the Great Flood and the Tower of Babylon. The first civilized man lived, as the biblical and archeological sources attest, within Mesopotamia and Asia Minor, known universally as the cradle of civilization. You would be interested to know that recent linguistic and archeological evidences are now pointing towards Asia Minor and Northern Mesopotamia as the original homeland of all Aryan Indo-European tribes prior to their epic migrations (see my article ?The origins of the Swastika? for further perspective). Thus, I light heartedly admit that, though pointless, it is not far-fetch to consider our God Christ as an ancient Aryan manifestation within Palestine. Phantom, i don't know who are you or what your objective is in trying to portray Christianity as "jewish", but is seems to that you just might be one of those "Armenians" with jewish roots. although that is gentically not possible because Armenians are aryan and jews are Khazar/Semitic. HIDDEN SECRETS OF MASONRY By Dr. Cathy Burns Condensed by Ardavast Avakian (Dec. 4, 2003) Most people who join Masonic organizations have no idea what Masonry actually teaches. Many join for social reasons while others join for the benefits and prestige it offers. When they enter the Masonic Lodge they are faced with many symbols all with hidden meanings. Even Masonic leaders are well aware that the majority of people who join the Masons do not really know what Masonry teaches. In fact, Masonry intentionally misleads those Masons who have recently joined. The symbols and ceremonies of Masonry have more than one meaning. They rather conceal than disclose the truth. All Masons go to a Masonic temple. They worship at an alter, they kneel before a supreme being, and they swear upon the ?volume of sacred law?, whether it be a Bible, the Koran, the Vedas, or any other ?scripture? that is acceptable to the majority of the people within the lodge. Masonic lodges in America display the Bible in the lodge of an entered apprentice (1st degree) but is not of religious acceptance as understood by adepts (highly skilled believers). In other words, even the Bible is only a symbol of something else, but the person who is just entering Masonry is unaware of this fact. It is plain to see that symbols a Mason encounters in the lodge do have a hidden meaning. Since Christianity is a religion as well as Masonry, is there any conflict between the two? When one studies Masonic literature, it is quite evident that there are definite conflicts between Christianity and Freemasonry. When a person enters Masonry, he joins what is called a ?blue lodge?. Members of this lodge may earn the first degrees (called Craft Degrees), which are: 1) Entered Apprentice; 2) Fellow-Craft; and 3) Master Mason. After these three degrees have been earned (and paid for!), one may take further degrees in the York Rite or Scottish Rite. The York Rite awards ten degrees in addition to the Craft Degrees. The last degree is equivalent to the 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite. There are penalties for revealing the secrets of Masonry. James 5:12 informs us that ?above all things, brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by earth, neither by any other oath.? But the first thing that the person entering Masonry does is to take an oath, which is in violation of God?s Word. This is the first area of conflict between Christianity and Masons. -2- Who is the God of Masonry? Masons emphasize that to participate in the Masonic rituals ?one must believe and worship a Supreme Being.? Is this Supreme Being the same God as the Christians worship, or is he a different god? But this Supreme Being is not the only god Masons worship! Many gods and goddesses are worshiped through the symbolism and rituals of Masonry. A few of the many gods that are worshiped are: Osiris, Bacchus, Dionysus, Adonis, and Mithra. Osiris is the Egyptian god of the dead as well as a sun god but is also known by many other names. In Greece he is known as Dionysus, the god of pleasures, partying and wine. In Rome he is called Bacchus, in Persia Mithras, in Syria Adonis. The worship of the sun, disguised through the use of gods and symbols, plays a very important role in Masonry. It doesn?t matter to the Mason that God proclaims: ?Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve (Matthew 4:10).? Another conflict between the Degrees of Masonry and the Bible is that the Bible warns against astrology, yet the Lodge is set up in such a way as to correspond with twelve signs of the zodiac, which is astrology. It should be noticed that the symbol of salvation is the ?brazen serpent! Once again Christ is set aside for another symbol of salvation. The Bible specifies that the serpent represents Satan; Masonry uses the serpent as a symbol of salvation. Most people know that the word ABRACADABRA has to do with magic, but this word comes from ABRAXAS. ABRAXAS is a demon! However this word is only a substitute. Then in the 13th degree (Royal Arch) he is given the name of the ?lost word? of Masonry. Let us see first of all, who is the ?Bright and Morning star? and then let us look at the ?Lost Word? and who is represented thereby. Revelation 22:16 explains: ?I Jesus am the root and offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star.? Now, do the Masons worship Jesus as the ?bright and morning star?? There are several reasons why this answer is ?NO!? One reason is that everything in the Lodge is symbolical of something else, so if the ?bright and morning star? is Christ in reality, it is only a symbol to the Mason. There is a greater reason, however, that we know that the ?Bright and Morning Star? is not Christ, so far as Masonry is concerned. The Mason Arthur Edward Waite described one picture in his book and analyzes it like this: ?There is a globe in her right hand on which is balanced a genius, holding a torch, and said to typify the Morning Star or Lucifer ? from a Masonic point of view, the symbol in its full sense is the coming of conquering light.? -3- So, when Masons speak of light of Masonry, they are actually referring to Lucifer bringing forth the light. Lucifer means ?light bearer? or ?light bringer!? The Bible also informs us that Satan (Lucifer) comes as an angel of light (II Corinthians 11:14). Another Masonic writer Foster Bailey says: ?Stage by stage they (the Masters of Wisdom) assist at the unfolding of the consciousness of the candidate until the time comes when he can ?enter into light?, and, in turn become a light bearer, one of the Illuminati who can assist the Lodge on High in bringing humanity to light.? The ?Masters of Wisdom? are spirit guides (actually demons) who are supposedly directing the way to a One World Order and the Illuminati is an organization that was founded on May 1, 1776 by a Jesuit priest, Adam Weishaupt. The name ?Illuminati? is derived from Lucifer. The Illuminati was dedicated to a ?New World Order? or ?One World Government? ? the exact goal of the new agers of today. The date (May 1, 1776) is represented on every American dollar bill. On the back of the dollar bill will be found on the left side a pyramid with the all-seeing-eye above it. You will also notice that the capstone (or cornerstone) has been removed and is replaced with an all-seeing-eye. ?MDCCLXXVI? which is 1776, and the words on the ribbon at the bottom are the words ?NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM? which means ?New World Order!? Ancient Freemasonry employed the triangle, usually in connection with the all-seeing-eye. Throughout the entire system of Masonry, no symbol is more important in its significance ? it is the Masonic symbol of the ?Grand Architect of the Universe.? The entire symbol of the Eye of Providence (all-seeing-eye) in the Radiant Triangle forms a cornerstone of the unfinished pyramid. The Bible specifies that Jesus is the chief cornerstone, but he rejected (Matthew 21:42; I Peter 2:6-7; Psalm 118:22; Mark 12:10; Luke 20:17; Acts 4:11. This is quite evident by looking at the picture ? the cornerstone has been removed or rejected and has been replaced by the all-seeing-eye, a symbol of Satan! Is it any wonder that the Bible warns us that ?the love of money is the root of all evil? (I Timothy 6:10)? An Anglican priest, writing under the pseudonym of Vindex said that as Masons we believe in a symbolical triune essence, and that Jesus Christ is his Son and our Lord. That quotation sounds good and may convince many people that Masonry and Christianity are compatible. However, a closer look at this statement reveals that this is only a belief in a symbolical trinity. It is not a belief in the personal God of the Bible. Vindex continues: ?As Moslem Masons we are equally entitled to believe that Mohamet (sic) is his prophet.? He then adds a very enlightening comment: ?With these subsidiary (lessor or minor) and secondary beliefs, Masonry has nothing to do, giving her members a perfect liberty to interpret the God head as they please.? -4- Notice that he calls Christianity a ?Subsidiary and Secondary? belief and then plainly informs us that ?Masonry has nothing to do? with these inferior doctrines! So, a Mason whether he realizes it or not, is relegating his Christian faith to second place and putting Masonry first. Matthew 6:24 reminds us: ?No man can serve two masters! For either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.? Elsewhere Matthew states: ?Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve (Matthew 4:10).? Masons are to make their prayers universal and not mention the name Jesus (so as not to offend Jews or those of other religions). A book written by Albert Mackey titled Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, contains almost 1,000 pages. This Masonic encyclopedia contains articles on almost every false god of the pagan world, but it contains not even a trace of an article on Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This is a significant and ominous omission. One quick glance at the ritual for the Shriners (an organization only opened to those Masons who have earned the 32nd degree) clearly illustrates that! The oath for that order states: ?May Allah, the god of Arab, Moslem and Mohammedan, the god of our fathers, support me.? Not only is Allah mentioned by name, but he is called ?the god of our fathers!? This oath is sworn on the Koran (the ?bible? of the Moslems). The Christian Bible tells us ?swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath (James 5:12).? The Bible also warns us ?Make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth (Exodus 23:13).?
