Official in Artsax denies ethnic Armenians' part in Azeri poll Regnum, Moscow 6 Nov 05 An aide to the president of [separatist Azerbaijani region of] Nagornyy Artsax, David Babayan, has dismissed as "absurd" the reports in the Azerbaijani media alleging that the Central Electoral Commission [CEC] "has received appeals from some Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian origin" about their participation in the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan. "Such statements cannot be true and the very idea of sending such appeals to the Azerbaijani CEC is absurd. I think that such steps are aimed at improving the rating of the pro-government forces before the election, which is, by the way, the violation of the electoral law because any propaganda is prohibited on the eve of the poll. Against a background of the massive 'witch hunt' in Baku, the authors of this idea aim to ease the situation, which does not bring credit to the authorities. No I don't think the US will sit on its ass. On the contrary, the US will go to hell and high waters to fight that countries war. Which proves my point on who really runs this country. How every, what remains is the fact that such an action will be a complete diasaster for for the United States, for Iran, for the region, and for the whole world. Iran is a powerful country capable of defending itself. Don't confuse it with other coutries in the region. Furthermore, Russia would not allow any military actions against Iran.

You're not getting me. America is indeed the land of opportunity, there's no question about that. However, in the case of those who want to immigrate here, 9 out of 10 is that they have convinced themselves "my future is abroad." The fact is, anywhere is this world, if you're a worker, then you'll find some kind of work no matter where you are. Let me give you the example of my stupid relatives. They had their own business back in Armenia. One portion of their family remained back home, and the other came here to the US. Guess what? money is coming from Armenia to take care of these idiots who were perfectly well off back home. I do not condone or support this type of mentality. It is ludacris. I mean if its someone who has nothing to eat at all, in that case I am not against them coming to the US. But the last time I was in Armenia, people were quite fat. I'm not saying everyone is perfectly well off, but they complain too much. I am certain if they put all that energy into applying themselves instead of complaining, they would get somewhere.
