SanVal
In case you missed last night's "American Idol," there was an Armenian guy who tried out in LA. His name is Martik Manoukian and he's destined to be a star. I couldn't stop laughing when I watched his "eccentric roar." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux9Ll0s3BAM

Anoushik
I thought he is very original. And his performance is not really shameful. It wouldn't matter for me either way if he'd said he was Armenian. It was a very funny and creative performance, just not right for the show! The guys is nuts - but so are Michael Jackson, Iggy Pop and Marylin Manson (just to name a few successful nutheads). He has more vision than most of the participants on the show... If he has half as much drive as amibition, he might pull something off.

I don't think you can enjoy a performance like that unless you're hight on something and I'm thinking it was glue in his case.
SanVal
I'm glad he didn't mention he's Armenian, not because what he did was embarrassing, but because it would've diminished his panther character had he mentioned anything human (such as nationality). Anyway, I liked him and I hope I get the chance to see him live. I think there's a chance they'll ask him to come back at the end of the show...he's in LA where the show is taped, and they like to invite the memorable ones. Emil, if you run into him, please tell him he has at least one secret admirer.

vava
where is the video? youtube removed it for " use violations"? It's really silly to remove/prevent clips like this from you tube. these vids generate more visibility and enhance the relationship between the show and it's fans. Why would they remove it? It's not like it's pay per view and folks are getting it on you tube without "paying" for it.
