Thanks for the insights. style_images/master/snapback.png I am reading all these conversations, and it just makes me think. I am an Armenian, born and raised in Tbilisi. Part of my family migrated there after the 1915 massacre in Turkey, and the other side of my family moved there in 30's. I feel like I had the best of both worlds. Tbilisi was really a great city to live in. I went to school with people of many nationalities, and nobody cared that someone was Armenian, Georgian, Russian, Jewish or Greek. To that, I can add about 10 more nationalities from the top of my head. On the other hand, a lot of my relatives lived in Yerevan. All, that I want to add is that, it was really great living there. I grew up in the company of many Armenians just like me, and we all miss what we had there. Unfortunatelly, I know that all of this has changed. Avlabar was/is an Armenian district of Tbilisi. Many wonderful things were happening there and judging by the local folklore, people obviously were enjoying their life in Avlabar. I visited Avlabar and the Armenian church there. Also, there's another Armenian church (Sb. Gevork) in the old town, across the river. Visited that one as well...that's where Sayat Nova is buried. hosank Posted May 23, 2008 Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 lol and ya, about tiblisi, much of the old town was built by armenians, infact most of the streets still have armenian names to them. but remember that at that time, yerevan was a small town with more persians and azeris in it than armenians, but in the same light, baku was run by armenians as well. Johannes Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու Վիրահայոց թեմ Նոր ոտնձգութիւններ Թբիլիսիի «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» հայկական եկեղեցու դեմ Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու Վիրահայոց թեմը՝ ավելի քան 400 000 վրաստանաբնակ հայության անունից, իր մտահոգությունն ու վրդովմունքն է արտահայտում՝ Վրաց Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցու ներկայացուցիչների կողմից Թբիլիսիի «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» հայկական եկեղեցու և նրա հարակից տարածքի դեմ կատարվող նոր ոտնձգությունների առնչությամբ: «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» հայոց եկեղեցին կառուցվել է 15-րդ դարի կեսերին, որպես Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցի և ի սկզբանէ գտնվել է Վիրահայոց թեմի կազմում: 20-րդ դարի 30-ական թվականներին եկեղեցին, այլ կրոնական կառույցների հետ մեկտեղ, փակվել է հոգևոր գործունեության համար և օգտագործվել որպես գրապահոց: Ավաղ, Վրաստանի պետական անկախության վերականգնումից հետո Վրացական իշխանությունը չվերադարձրեց եկեղեցին իր օրինական, պատմական տիրոջը: Սույն թվականի մայիս ամսին Վրաց Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցու հոգևոր սպասավոր Տարիել քահան Սիկինչելաշվիլին և նրան ենթարկվող բանվորների խումբը, «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» հայկական եկեղեցին և նրա հարակից տարածքը պարսպապատելու նպատակով, սկսեցին կառուցել մետաղյա պարիսպ՝ ներառելով Վրաց Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցուն բնորոշ կրոնական էլեմենտներ: Եվս մեկ հայկական եկեղեցու պլանավորված գրավման փորձի կապակցությամբ Վիրահայոց թեմն արտահայտել է իր մտահոգությունն ու վրդովմունքը և այն որակավորել, որպես վրացական կողմի հետ պայմանավորվածության խախտում, որը ձեռք է բերվել Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու և Վրաց Ուղղափար Եկեղեցու միջև՝ «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» և Թբիլիսիի մյուս չորս՝ «Սուրբ Նշան», «Շամխորեցոց Կարմիր Ավետարան Սուրբ Աստվածածին», «Երևանցոց Սուրբ Մինաս», «Մուղնեցոց Սուրբ Գևորգ» հայկական եկեղեցիները Վիրահայոց թեմին վերադարձնելու հարցի քաղաքակիրթ լուծման շրջանակներում: Վերը նշված փաստը դժգոհության ալիք բարձրացրեց Վիրահայոց թեմի հավատացյալների շրջանում և սույն թվականի մայիս ամսին դրությունը սպառնում էր վերաճել միջկրոնական ընդհարման երկու եղբայրական քրիստոնյա ժողովուրդների միջև: Վիրահայոց թեմը, ստեղծված իրավիճակի մասին, գրավոր տեղեկացրեց Վրաստանում համապատասխան պետական կառույցներին, ինչպես նաև Վրաստանում հավատարմագրված դիվանագիտական կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներին: Սույն անօրինական և անպատժելի գործողությունը Վիրահայոց թեմի հավատացյալների կողմից դիտվեց, որպես Վրաստանում Կրոնի Ազատության և Կրոնական Հավասար Իրավունքների Սահմանադրական իր իրավունքների ոտնահարում: Հակառակ, որ Թբիլիսիի քաղաքապետարանը Պատրիարքարանի հետ որոշում կայացրեց քանդել անօրինական պարիսպը, սակայն այդպես էլ չիրականացրեց իր որոշումը պատճառաբանելով, որ դրան խոչընդոտում է հայր Տարիելը: Այն տպավորությունն է ստեղծվում, որ Տարիել քահանան ավելի հզոր է, քան Վրաստանի պետական և հոգևոր բարձրագույն իշխանությունը: Վերջին օրերին վրաց քահանա Տարիել Սիկինչելաշվիլին շարունակում է Թբիլիսիի «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» հայկական եկեղեցու (չգործող) ապօրինի պարսպապատումը: Սույնի մասին Վիրահայոց թեմը Վրաստանի պետական մարմիններին, քաղաքային իշխանություններին ու Վրաց Պատրիարքարանին պաշտոնապես տեղեկացրել է Տարիել քահանայի կողմից հայկական կրոնական ժառանգության նոր զավթման մասին: Ովքեր, ավաղ, մի քանի օրերի ընթացքում չխոչընդոտեցին Թբիլիսիի կենտրոնում գտնվող հայկական եկեղեցու դեմ նոր ոտնձգությունների իրականացմանը: Հարկ է նշել, որ եկեղեցիների վերադարձի խնդիրը Վրաստանում նշված է ՄԱԿ-ի Մադու Իրավունքների Կոմիտեում և ԱՄՆ-ի Պետական Դեպարտամենտի տարեկան զեկույցում: Վրաստանի Կառավարությունը միջազգային հանրության առջև պարտավորվել է՝ ստեղծել ժողովրդավարական պետություն, սակայն քաղաքական կամք չի ցուցաբերում, իր երկրի ազգությամբ հայ քաղաքացիներին անհանգստացնող խնդիրների լուծման կապակցությամբ: Ցավով արձանագրում ենք, որ Վրաստանում փաստորեն առկա է կրոնական և ազգային խտրականություն: Մեր կարծիքով, Վրացական կողմին հետաքրքրում է ոչ այնքան «Սուրբ Նորաշեն» եկեղեցին յուրացնելը, որքան սույն մեթոդներով հոգեբարոյական ճնշման ենթարկելը թբիլիսաբնակ հայությանը: Վերջին շրջանի հակահայկական տրամադրություններն ու հոդվածները վրացական մամուլում դրա վառ ապացույցն են: Այսպիսով, Վիրահայոց թեմը կոչ է անում Վրաստանի համապատասխան պետական կառույցներին՝ լուծել վերոնշյալ խնդիրը, վերջ տալ «տարիելյան ամենաթողությանը», ինչպես նաև տրամաբանական ժամկետներում որոշել Ավանդական Կրոնական Կազմակերպությունների իրավաբանական կարգավիճակի հարցը: Վիրահայոց թեմը վրացական կողմին հիշեցնում է՝ պատմական հայկական եկեղեցիները քաղաքակիրթ կերպով վրացահայ համայնքին վերադարձնելու մասին ձեռք բերված համաձայնությունը և հետևողաբար պահանջում՝ հետևել դրա իրականացմանը, հակառակ դեպքում իրադարձությունների զարգացումը կարող է հանգեցնել անկանխատեսելի հետևանքների, որի ողջ պատասխանատվությունը կընկնի Վրաստանի Կառավարության և Վրաց Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցու Պատրիարքարանի վրա: ՀԱՅ ԱՌԱՔԵԼԱԿԱՆ ՍՈՒՐԲ ԵԿԵՂԵՑՈՒ ՎԻՐԱՀԱՅՈՑ ԹԵՄԻ ՄԱՄԼՈՅ ԴԻՒԱՆ Սամղեբրո փող. 5, Թբիլիսի, Վրաստան, ,0114 Հեռ.՝ /995 32/ 75 41 11 Ֆաքս՝ /995 32/ 75 17 90 Էլ-հասցե՝ armenian_diocese@yahoo.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
