I mean, not terribly, loser shy but not like some studs out there, either, who get the idea immediately. So I don't know how to not scare him but I also want some progress soon. I conferred with a male friend and he agrees that this one needs consideration and being taken slowly but he wasn't able to help me beyond the simple idea of inviting him for tea, which didn't work because he's almost always in a rush nowadays - he politely turned me down - beyond that, male friend said, he couldn't help, especially since he got tired of doing me favours whereby all I did in return was get him a beer. He may struggle to find the right approach to you but if you are confident in yourself no need to worry. If he really is extremely shy, you may wish to invite him, or through a friend at a place with other people so that he could feel relaxed and more open to conversation. The rest are technicalities that I don't feel the need to teach you!
