Historian Babken Harutyunyan- A Traitor?

As the previous one, this topic is about the falsifying the Armenian History.

 

The Information war is the main conflict in the world today, and some powers use amoral rules in that war by falsifying the history and lying.

 

The main part of the Information War is the History. And some powers have been falsyfiying the history for thousands of years. For example, Alexandr the Great would kill his historians if those wouldn't "state" the history in the way Alexandr wanted.

 

An information war was the creation of the modern Azerbaijan in 1917 by the Pan-Turkists and Russian Nationalists. Untill 1917 a name "Azerbaijan" never appeared in Caucasus. Azerbaijan, the Turkish pronouncation of Adrbadagan, was the northern part of Iran and that was all.... But politics can change the history......

 

Armenian Genocide, more correctly, the denying of the Armenian Genocide is the part of the Information War and the "soldiers" of it are J.McCarthy, Show, Bernard Louis and most of the historians living in Turkey.

 

There are some historians, who, even though recognizing the Armenian Genocide, falsify the facts of the Armenian Genocide. Such "scholars" are James Rassel, Ronald Suni and others.

 

And here is the sad news:

 

Now the director of the Armenian History Department of the Yerevan State Uniersity, Babken Harutyunyan falsifies the fdacts of the Armenian History and Genocide. He uses "lands populated by Armenians before the genocide" for Western Armenia. He writes that Armenians did not have a state for 700 years, though its untrue because we didn't have a state only between 1375-1918.

 

In his article <> Gevork Yazedjyan, a historian, assumes that Babken Harutyunyan is paid by American dollars to falsify the Armenian History. Yazedjyan brings the fact: THE PUBLISHING HOUSE THAT PUBLISHED HARUTYUNYAN'S ARTICLE "KARABAGHIZATION OF NATIONAL HISTORY" IS SPONSORED BY AMERICAN POLITICIAN GOBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,

 

I am a new user on this forum, and I found your article today. What can I say? I can imagine that you belong (or at least you think that you belong) to the armenian intellectual elite. Than answer me my question! Is it a way to write a report? You have no facts, you just affront one of the best historians of modern times. And all that only because one guy (maybe your friend) didn't get his PhD????? Open your eyes! If you think that B. Harutyunyan, one of the most patriotic Armenians I've ever met, is turkish-oriented, than, really, it is not worth to discuss anything with you.

So, I friendly ask you to remove that ***en Photo and your sarcastic comments from the Forum. First of all, because it is just cheap and is not true. Show that you have enough intellect to stay on a level of an educated person. And if it is not enough for you than think, that it is a world-wide-web, and everyone can read your article. Do you really want that some turcs read it and become happy that armenians have missunderstandings betwen each other????

It is very easy to accuse established and respected scholars of falsifying history; in fact, it requires no thought at all. Regarding Harutyunyan, you offer two examples: one is a minor matter of terminology (he did not use the term Western Armenia), hardly one of falsifying. The other is clearly an error, if, in fact, he said that. This falls a little short of the serious charge of falsifying history and being "paid by the enemies of the Armenian nation."

 

As for James Rassel and Ronald Suni, who I assume are James Russell and Ronald Suny, you only offer the charge that they "falsify the facts of the Armenian Genocide." How and where? Perhaps you are right -- but just making the statement doesn't make it so.
