Yervant1
I think I've been there. Casa Loma? It's a pretty strange angle, and I can't tell in this photo the colour of the spires (I think Casa Loma has red-ish spires.) Yes it is Casa Loma in Toronto and the colour is greyish not red. Takoush
Um - I was referring the Yervant's orginal castle picture And Anahid, I think you mean Fairmount bagel, or St-Viateur? I don't know of any famous bagels on Van Horne. It's been a while Vava jan; it's on that long street that connects between Jean Talon and Mount Royal. I believe when you go from Jean Talon which is West to East, the Jewish bagels section is on a street towards North. They have the best bagels that I like and they sell very tasty lox too, and sometimes with cream cheese. Yuuummm. My mouth is already watering. You can refresh my memory, was it Saint Viateur? I think it was; but I'm not sure.
Takoush
Sorry Yervant jan; if only I had millions. I'd build a castle each for my friends.
vava
You can refresh my memory, was it Saint Viateur? I think it was; but I'm not sure. Both St-Viateur & Fairmount are East-West streets, parallel to Jean-Talon, but further south. It's an on-going battle, but the bagel eating townsfolk fall into two categories: Those who love Fairmount, and those whose allegiances lie with St-Viateur. Fairmount Bagel St-Viateur Bagel If you're thinking of a place very close to Jean-Talon, than it's probably one of the bakeries near the Market - and they just don't compare Speaking of bagels, anyone guess where this is? Thank you so much vavul jan, I liked the sites. And it wasn't close to Jean-Talon but I believe it was St-Viateur. I think my next trip should be going to Montreal to absolutely verify the location and frankly I miss the bagels. Good for you Edward, I wouldn't have guessed Chicago.
