I was going to ask if that was a farce and was in Italy at all. It should have read (or at least I would think it should), "Sotoportego degli Armeni"... Unless there's a catch to it.

nope no farce. If you want we can meet there and take a ride in a gondola while I sing "O Sole Mio" to you and I can show it to you...

Can I also put on one of those frapulent masks like they do in Venice while you do (so that at least no one knows I'm there)? :P

OK, ladies and gents, I am not at all sure as to how easy or difficult this one might be. I suspect on the easy side.

BTW, the spires you see in the back belong to Bath Abbey. The west façade has a sculture of a bishop's hat above an olive tree and a crown on the trunk of the same tree. This is supposed to symbolise either 1) a rebus for - follow the order - Bishop Oliver King, an important figure in the life of this church or 2) "Tudor peace."

Come on, I'm getting impatient for guesses. Either someone make some guesses or I'm gonna desist and give even more clues or ultimately turn this thread into show and tell. IHS - you see it embroidered on priests' robes... What does it mean? Who said it? Where did they say it? When did they say it? Lovely piece of history to tell, come on.
