Jewish Friend
Anyone see The t.v. special? i watched it and found it very informative and interesting. It was three hours long and I believe it will be shown again. It showed the early years of Christianity as it evolved from Judaism. It takled many questions with wonderful discourse. The reasons for circumcision being dropped by Paul to convert the Gentiles, the disagreement between Jesus's brother and family with Paul over reaching outside the Jewish faith for followers of Jesus, the background of the times under Roman rule, the whole story of poor, and sickly, and disfavored people being under God's love, not the rich rulers, being radical in it's day and threatening to the Roman control,etc...a MUST see! Arpa
I meant to write about this subject as the program was on. I conked out after the first hour. There was very little new, to me at least. Did you notice that the program had wall to wall Armenian (duduk)music many of which I could sing along. Another that caught my attention was that the Apostle Paul was "born in Turkey". Huh!!! This is not the first time that nonsense of the kind has been aired. Of course, we also know that the legend of Santa Claus is based on a Turkish (Christian)Bishop. Yeah right!! Sometimes one wonders if the writers know what and where Turkey is. St. Paul was born in Tarsus, Tarson of (Kilikian)Armenia, during which time even that bird was not called turkey. koko
hahaha, santa claus beeing turkish !!!!! They used to teach that back at elementary school. i got mad and questioned them , and said how could he have been turkish when turkey didin't exist as a country till much later on. and the fact that he is a christian bishop! people are so stupid to understand this as it seems. gamavor
Wasn't the program designed by Americans for Americans?
Jewish Friend
Wasn't the program designed by Americans for Americans? I think Jennings is from Canada, or some other pagan country..not the U.S.A...lol YidKid
gamavor
I think Jennings is from Canada, or some other pagan country..not the U.S.A...lol YidKid You mean some other Judeo-Moslem-Pagan country The program was American, the TV station was American and the audience was American. Weren't these enough to conclude that the program was by Americans and for Americans? Yes, I know that Jennings holds Canadian passport, which proves once again that ignorance does not recognize borders. And as a side note, if I'm a journalist supposed to give a presentation "on the deep water migration habits of sea bass", I would at least make sure to consult with Sip. Arpa
I think Jennings is from Canada, or some other pagan country..not the U.S.A...lol YidKid What Gamavor means here is that the program was written by idiots for the consumption of the like. Yes Jennings is of Canadian origin. However it is surprising that he did not insert his two cents and recited the sentence of Paul having been born in Turkey without batting an eye. He should know better, he is intimatley knowledgable of the history and geography of the area. He was stationed in Beirut during the 70's where he not only learned the Arabic language but also picked up some Armenian pleasantries. A friend of mine had an exchange (in armenian) with him, things like "inchpes es" etc. I knew all that but this I did not know, look for his trysts with Hanan Ashrawi and other Palestinian beauties, enjoy; http://www.honestreporting.com/articles/cr...BCs_of_Bias.asp

All I meant was that Americans are Idiots (with capital 'I') and this is one of the reasons why I love 'this' country. Summer time and the living is easy! However, I respect Jewish Friend and tried not to be rude! J/F you are cool!
angel4hope
i cant say i actually"saw" it but while i was typing up a paper- i was also listening to it-overhearing it from the living room- not really watching it-- anyway--- it was an awesome program...it answered many questions i had in my mind and gave me a better understanding of the historic periodic timeeline and so forth... i also could not help but notice the armenian duduk being playeed in the backgroung throughout the program.... its was very intereeesting- if youre into historical documentaries like i am esp the discovery channel....who knew history could be so fun? they should seriously consider having these shows for high school studentd who slep during class- trust me-- they wont want to sleep after watching these shows because they are soo informitive and have alot of controversial topics to discuss.... those are my two cents-- maybe less- maybe more- but you can take it for what its worth

I am fine with the mainstream Palestinians, she probably fits into this mold to a degree, but MAN IS SHE UGLY OR WHAT? I'd love to see what else he dates. Oy Vey! lol YidKid
America-Hye
The early history of Christianity is just fascinating. Learn up folks. Hanan is no beuaty. Was she more atttractive in her youth? As for a beautiful Arab try Marlo Thomas, although I have heard that she did have nasal surgery.
