I am slightly older than you, and agree with many of your points. However, I think even without an Israel, the U.S. on it's own has done enough in the view of many oppressed Muslims to incur a 911 reaction. I am against the current U.S. policy in Iraq, and as an army veteran support Kerry in his bid to allow the world together to solve the world's problems. I actually hate the draft dodging neocons..both Jew and Christian, who send our finest to war when they acted cowardly. I especially hate that five time draft dodging coward Cheney and his pushy wife. Maybe we will all wake up to a better beginning the day after election. Make sure you all vote. It is true that according to strict Jewish law her children are Jewish and have the right to return to Israel and get blown up! Big deal. Many intermarriages in reality like this dilute both parties..probably a good thing...especially in the great mellting pot America. Israel considers Iran and Syria their threat. They told Bush before the war that Iraq had no nuclear to speak since 1991.They only were concerned about chemical and biological. They couldn't care less about this war..other than that if it owrked syria would have been next. YidKid

I agree that the prison pics and the Berg pics together on the whole have a NEGATIVE affect on the support for the war. It has made me sick of the whole thing. I hope Iraq on june 30 asks us to withdraw and we oblige. This war was a big mistake. I have been to Israel too and I agree on some of the posters views. Most Israelis and Palestinians are very nice everyday people with mutual problems. The Armenian Quarter is one of the nicest areas.Actually, Jerusalem is beautiful..go there one day if you haven't. you will leave with a radically different view of the local situation there..YidKid P.S. I don't contribute to Jewish organizations except the JNF which plants trees. They {Lobby}don't push my cause necessarily.They are political, not spiritual or religious. Just a note for what it is worth..the restaurant she blew up was co owned by a Jew and Arab. It frequented by Arabs a lot, and I believe at least half the victums were Arab. Just food for thought. Anyone see The t.v. special? i watched it and found it very informative and interesting. It was three hours long and I believe it will be shown again. It showed the early years of Christianity as it evolved from Judaism. It takled many questions with wonderful discourse. The reasons for circumcision being dropped by Paul to convert the Gentiles, the disagreement between Jesus's brother and family with Paul over reaching outside the Jewish faith for followers of Jesus, the background of the times under Roman rule, the whole story of poor, and sickly, and disfavored people being under God's love, not the rich rulers, being radical in it's day and threatening to the Roman control,etc...a MUST see! The Italian people, and many indivual priests and nuns of Italy, helped save many Italian Jews. Even Mussinlini did not want to participate with Hitler on the Jews. Italy has one of, if not the oldest Jewish community in the world. There are many stories about the role of the Vatican, I have no idea nor care personally about the Pope's involvement or non involvement. This thread caught my eye. There are tons of threads similiar about Jews and the Holicaust{sp?}. It is uncomfortable to see the lies, but the internet is very hard to fight and truthfully only junkies read this stuff for the most part. much of the world, believe it or not, cannot even turn on a computer, including here in New Jersey! I Accept the fact these things wil occur on the internet and use your energy to fight this hate in REALl life, where you can be more effective.. You can get yopur message out one on one, write to newspapers,join local Armo organizations and stir them up if they are complacent. I am effective one on one..that is why I post here and in real life set a good example of myself so people see not all Jews are uptight and obnoxious..lol I will say in support that most educated people will see through these sites for what they are, and truthfuly 99 per cent of the world wont give a crap, they go to work, eat, watch t.v., fall asleep. It is the one percent or less we are after. It is emotional and annoying the younger you are.I am 55 , so I have been down this road many times.
