I was merely commenting on the state of affairs. I think it's silly in the way that Hiphop and the whole "idea" of it is out of control. But what I find even worse is people who imitate this lifestyle and believe that is what is cool and right. It's people like this who want to fight someone like me at the parks, when I'm supposedly an original member of said 'trend.' It's just silly I think, and I actually agree with armos when they say hate to see other armos acting 'black' because I don't consider that acting black I consider it acting stupid, and I don't like stupid. This is a naive statement that has so many years of history, corruption, domination and treachary on top of it that i'm suprised that a seemingly 'smart' person like yourself would even say this? I mean come on. The Black Diaspora is of course connected to it's origin but the manner in which we were forcibly removed, many of us brain washed while Africa has/is/continues to be raped by european nations is far too complex for you to make a silly comment like this? I mean black people of America while many love and look towards our ancient homeland, obviously have a lot of work to do here first, before we can 'save' Africa. The concept of diasporic peoples saving their homeland is a great one, but it isn't as easy as you made is seem here. It is a false concept to say that racially mixing loses one's identity. Very little of a human's identity comes from the race or culture. Mixing also may create a fresh, more healthy identity culture-wise. It certainly will rid oneself of chauvinism.

I am not saying that mixing is the right thing to do or the wrong thing to do. It is a grandios mistake to make either one of the assertions. Here we are dealing with individual choices. I would be very offended if someone had told me what to do with my life, particularly what race to marry or not tpo marry. So you guys just mind your own business and apply your racially oriented thinking to your own private lives. Race is a very little part of the human being, don't try to belittle the human in us by such claims. It would also be appreciated to show some sensitivity. Thank you.

All I know is that I don't have to be black to understand, comprehend, and have compassion for what the slaves went through. Which would be true except for the fact that you are wearing two hats - an ordinary members one, and a moderators one. And at the moment it looks as if those two hats are sitting very uneasily on your head.

On the first point - you have given a good argument against erasing posts. How can we know what someone is like if all the evidence has been removed.

 

On the second point - you have admited what I wrote was true - you are threatening to ban someone not because of stuff he had posted, but because of your personal opinion of that person and his possible motives. A moderator shouldn't do that, it has to be done on hard evidence.

Anyway - I think the only reason anyone should be banned is if they are physically disrupting the forum, such as posting off topic stuff, or just spamming stuff or writing in CAPITALS all the time, or posting too many pictures that take ages to load, or are always writing like they are texting, and so on.
