Anileve
Does it mean that it's that time of the month for anileve . . . ? Thanks for hijacking the creativity of this thread...yeah thanks a lot! That tells me that you haven't read my post fully. It is mainly addressed to the ladies to simply share some rescue ranger strategies to subdue the naughty Lil' Red Riding Hood. And the point was to use metaphors, not to kill the mystery the way you did! Come on don't be jealous that you can't participate in offering suggestions, I think Accel created a similar version of this thread regarding "Hair Loss". As usual mocking my threads ...yeah Accel I figured you out and I am on to you.
den_wolf
No, I read your post completely. In fact, more than once (which seems to have been a waste of time). But I still find it a means of attention seeking. But that's just me. And perhaps women do tend to do that during that time of the month, after all . . . As for the "creativity" of this thread, I must say that sympathetic writing rarely if ever helps women (perhaps Devilinas are exceptions). Instead, I will keep my "creative" contribution short and sweet, and effective. Here it is: http://www.midol.com/
Anileve
Wow, wit as sharp as a minuscule mosquito's peck...how delightful. Strange that PMS is only ascribed to women, in some men it's a permanent condition. See there you go, you finally offered a suggestion that you so desired, now you can take it yourself and apply it to much needed self use. den_wolf
If the world were full of women like our very own witty PMS-ing Devilina, men would've had to run for their lives. Is that creative enough for you? Don't kill me, please. If anyone has read my post about men clubbing other men on the head to get mates, this is a very very similar situation. Women clubbing men on the head to get what - nothing but anger relief. A suggestion: take some anger management classes.

den_wolf
ok den_wolf, please stop... Mmmhmmm... And what exactly am I doing? She wanted creativity and sarcasm, and I wrote up something for her. ... ? Sarcasm, people, sarcasm... I get a kick out of people that have to include as a footnote that it's sarcasm they are implying, in other words not much of their own faith in its quality Edited February 20, 2004 by anileve

Stormig
wow!! never did i think i'd read something like this on this forum!!! nairi you're funny girl!! so brave!!---yeah breast tenderness is the worst!!! once i had it so bad i couldn't even walk or wear a bra!! forget jogging!! haa!!! having a hard time stabilizing my girls ~~stiff as a couple of rocks!!! and usually you notice changes in the flow too... oh well, what can you do about those hormones?? it's all stress related though!!!...i don't know if i'm the only one but sometimes the pain just shoots to my hips (the front side) and even down to my knees.... I've had it feel that way, too - my inner lining feeling as though it were going to peel off and collapse inside the hollow of my body, and then the pain going down to the knees, and, oddly enough, taking a skip/gap from there and showing up at the ankles. Never heard of that before. It can be dealt with, though. What I do is relax my body as much as I can, watch my breath, and keep relaxing when I find myself tensing up again (tensing up for minimal body tone, like), imagining rolling wave-like sensations in the muscles, ever so minimal, until it gets to a point where you've let your muscles so loose it kind of vibrates and hurts. Works great for me, way beyond any massaging or warm bath or hot water bottle, just as good as rigorous exercise. Helps if you know your body so well that you can command the most unimaginable muscles. Working out the muscles down there helps plenty, too, especially if aided. I don't get head-aches, so my taking medicine is very, very rare. My cousin also showed me two spots to rub, something the Chinese or the Indians have known for some time, but I can't be bothered. If anyone cares I can try to describe or maybe find something online. And, no, they are not graphic - one is on the big toe and the other is a couple of inches above the ankle. Sasun
I think we should make a forum policy that all girls announce their periods (we can include this clause in the "code of conduct"). That way we will know when we have to treat the red riding hood with special care and understanding

Stormig
I don't have to announce my period. If I am moody it has nothing to do with a time of the month, and other than that I am the same mood throughout - for better or worse - LOL!!!!!! den_wolf
O.K, here's something I wrote just for Anileve, and the women on here, that they may read and be inspired or find some solutions to their little red riding hood problem: And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said, "Speak to us of Little Red Riding Hood." And he said: "Tea. It is the cure for all. It is the brown wolf that chases the red riding hood away. It is the thing that reverses the story of the red riding hood! Tea, drink it, and you shall be cured. Place the hot cup on the site where the red riding hood does her work, and it shall devour her, like a wolf." hyebruin
hey i'd rather have pms and cramping than be a man and suffer from the violent mental disorders predominantly found in males!! like, hmmmm take a look at how many men are in prison vs. women! and of those inmates compare what % of males and what % of females are in for violent crimes?? that should clarify things... of course there are the everyday abnormalities present in typical nothing special garden variety males, but i won't get into that one here! soooo much to say, sooo little server space!! maybe the men who criticize women should contemplate exactly what labor pains feel like and get some respect for the women in their lives and those they come into contact with!
den_wolf
hyebruin, I (and many men, in fact) have the utmost respect for women (unless they abuse that). So I think you're generalising here. Yes, we might have it easy compared to you when it comes to ... procreation and all that, but - we have other pressures on us that women don't. And life isn't a competition between men and women, or at least I would like to think it isn't...
