gevo27 Posted February 12, 2004 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2004 gevo, i think that since sex is such an accepted thing in society now a days, and especially among college students, that it shouldnt be considered something bad that she is trying to put out a message, because it goes on whether people talk about it or not, and i guess its better to be safe then sorry--i dont necessarily consider what shes doing somethng bad, its just the fact that alot of us arent used to talking about such things that makes it seem like a bad thing... well, i guess she wasnt neccessarily doing a bad thing, but just the fact that sex these days is like dating... really.. sex is more than that, its supposed to mean at some level intimacy, and lvoe.. not hey i have a condom, why dont you come to my room and lets see what use we can make of it!!.. Commom peeps, as good a thing shes doing handing out these things, its not promoting safe sex, everyone knows about that, its promoting more sex, which i personally think is "amot" verchapes martkutsun@ mer ura!? Actually bro, this is kind of wrong. The amount of people who practice unsafe sex is staggering. Simply look at all the children born out of wedlock, all the 'babies daddies' and what not. People are obviously not being safe enough, AND having sex with multiple partners. So much so women are on TV shows trying to find out who the father is?!? Joking but serious, NOTHING can promote MORE sex, the world is about as sexually charged as it can get in my opinion. Videos, TV shows, talk shows, radio shows, video games, magazine ads, and just people on the street. Get a bunch of young folks together and if they can't bond on anything they can talk about sex and relationships. I'm just a believer that promoting safe sex is far better than letting people walk into this current world of sex, not even thinking about it. Because you get people in a sexual world, who really don't know about how it works, what the risks are, and how to be smart about it. I feel what you're saying, but as I see younger and younger people with kids, and hear that young women are the highest group infected with AIDs and rising, safe sex is LIFE SAVING at this point in time. It was naive to think the way i did earlier. I mean really, noone is really going to not have sex if they want to.. LOL.. well, i guess my arguement would be better made in armenia.. or maybe is it just as bad over there nowadays ??? But yes, it would be rediculous to think we can stop this sex phobia, it is everywhere, even on cereal boxes these days!!!! well, what can i say, it comes to every man/women to himeslelf/herself on this one, and what they think is right "enough" for them!
