aakaren
Hello my name is Karen Hakobyan, I am one of the students of American University of Armenia. I have an assinment to create web page and I would like to create it about Kirk Kerkorian as a sign of appreciation of everything that he did for our country. Could YOU give me some information about how to contact with him? Thanks in advance!!! Karen Hakobyan.
Sebastia
YOU want to contact him? You know what, I doubted that you could do that. Maybe you should get information about him by browsing through the web cause I don't think there is a way that YOU can get into touch with him. Kirk Kerkorian might not be such a good idea to make a web page about. You should make a webpage about soccer(futbol), or Audi A8, or or or or about Spongebob!!! Maral
That's quite a goal you've got there AAKAREN! It's not impossible....do all the research you can online...Try finding the info on Alex Yemenidjian's office,he's the chairman and CEO of MGM....or how about calling people from United Armenia Fund,or Kirk Kerkorian's Lincy Foundation,....it'll take lots of phone calls but maybe you can get close enough to the top two guys to create the website...good luck to you...let us know how goes Edited February 11, 2004 by Maral

I was going to ask if you were a girl or a boy. Never mind. After seeing your picture, now I know. You are handsome!! The URL you furnished did not click, so I had to go the roundabout way to find you. Still not complete. Caution! Very slow, even with my super fast cable connection. I ran out of patience to get to the nitty gritty. Try this. http://www.aua.am/2004/group16/contacts.html Could our house geeks do something to accelerate it? How about it Garo, Sip the Dip(I'll air a story about it :) , Azat et al?

Kerkorian
I would be happy to help. So are we going to just increase the speed or can we also add a lot of content? We can add a timeline, more biography information, trivia, and more. Let me know our options. Thanks.

Kerkorian
This is good news. Let's get started. Karen and Sasun... let me know what changes you decide to make. Also, let me know how the website will be structured. Once you are ready to go and we are clear on what we want for content, I will email the information to you. Sound good? Sasun
You can write on my e-mail: aakaren@mail.ru Karen, I sent you email but it was bounced, it says user unknown (and shows as if I had emailed to aakaren@front.ru ). Anyway, I sent the same email to your AUA email account. Hope that works. If not, please email me or PM me using the hyeforum utilities. To be honest with you, I was not planning to get involved in changing the content. Seeing in frustration how slow it works, I just wanted to help the website work faster as well as have an easier URL to remember. My skills in web design are limited, and generally I don't have a lot of extra time. But maybe I could make a few suggestions if needed. Maybe the three of us could get together on the Hyeforum chatroom and talk about it
alpha
Despite all the doubts by the financial community our compatriot is again on the winning side of the deal. MGM 'in talks for $5bn buy-out' The major US film studio Metro Goldwyn Mayer is in talks about a possible purchase by Sony and two other buy-out firms, US media report. The talks are said to be at an advanced stage for a deal that could be worth up to $5bn (£2.8bn). Buy-out firms including Texas Pacific Group are negotiating with billionaire financier Kirk Kerkorian to buy his 70%-plus stake, Reuters news agency said. Talks are understood to be taking place over how to finance any deal. MGM, Sony, Texas Pacific Group, which may be partnered by Providence Equity Partners in any deal, declined to comment. Shares in MGM ended up $2.10 at $19.75 on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, after hitting a two-year high of $20.25. The studio was founded in 1924 after a merger between Metro Pictures Corporation, Goldwyn Pictures, and Louis B Mayer Productions. Classic MGM films include Gone With The Wind, Ben Hur, The Wizard Of Oz, Doctor Zhivago, How The West Was Won and Mutiny On The Bounty as well as many musicals. The company's large movie library also includes the rights to James Bond films.
