Excuses/breakups

Exactly!

I mean in my situation I wasn't aware of how armenians are. By the time I found out, I was already deeply in love with my current girlfriend. So I'm just willing to try and see if it can happen, till I know for sure. Normally I'm very strict about such things, being an ultra-realist. But this is one thing in which my heart is making my fight till I can't no more. :(

.....it's so freakin suffocating!!! everything from sex to jobs, careers, where you live, what you wear, how you "appear" to others... and the list goes on and on and on and on....NOSEY!!! one word sums it up and i seriously don't want to deal with those kind of in-laws!!! who think their way is the best way and what not!!  asking me when we will get married and when we will buy a house and when we will have kids and tell ME how to raise my kids and all that b.s......

it sounds like u girls r complaining about old fashioned armenian guys and marriages. i don't think that i would want an old fashioned armenian guy. is there a term such as an americanized armenian?  hmmm, maybe that.

I actually had dinner with Ashton Kutchar few weeks back at Rockenwagner. True story...

Well, kind of true. I was sitting few tables away because I did not want to be caught by the paparazzi photographing us together. :)

He was really there with Kurt Russel

Never believe women who say they control men, because the wise women who actually control men never talk about it.

Armen jan, assumptions assumptions.... Perhaps your sarcasm radar needs a little tuning. I am guessing this was an implication directed at me. I personally see no sense in this control issue. I have no patience to control nor do I want to be controlled, I think in every relationship there must be mutual respect and both individuals can take turns taking charge, that can be at times very attractive you know, if you know how to handle it.

And as for my comments....

Laughing at someone else is an excellent way of learning how to laugh at oneself; and questioning what seem to be the absurd beliefs of another group is a good way of recognizing the potential absurdity of many of one's own cherished beliefs.

Sure it's an assumtion, Anileve. Assumtion similar to many retorical statements that present day society views as guidelines and generates on individual level, mostly to deal with personal inferiorities on social level. You can't say that you never generalize or assume, can you? (now don't tell me to search your posts and present facts)

As you have said, you view men and women as groups. I would say you view them as opposing groups, which would be the case some 20 years ago.

Besides, your thoughts are always very excited and need some fondle. Sometimes I feel like you're conducting a psychology research on "How can you effectively get men pissed off". I just don't understand why do you need this research. And also, this forum is not a testing range.

My sarcasm is fine tuned but I have a different frequency.

Actually, you're good at guessing on the implications addressed to you and would make good diplomat.

Dear in hopes of attention,

First and foremost allow me to thank you for a free psychoanalysis for it is almost amusing to hear a formation of your detached character based one ones manifested, fictional views.

I can safely say that I generalize or assume for it is a commonly human trait, however when dealing with an individual on a personal bases I refrain from placing him in any particular group or category. I don’t believe that I ever uttered such misrepresented words as “I view men and women as groups.” In fact I was advocating that the barriers should be broken, since it is a dominant portion of the society that assigns them a certain label and a guideline, and chooses individual rights for one and none for the other, thus actually separating them in groups. I am the one that believes into annulling the barriers of gender specification or differentiation. I have no clue as to where you have found your claims, since all of my statements are based pretty much on the same platform of elimination of the standards. Opposing groups? Well once again please read my previous paragraph, I would not view men and women as opposing groups if I was advocating equality and transcendence of the social stereotypes, would I?

Besides, your thoughts are always very excited and need some fondle.

Well Armen, I don’t believe that we familiarized ourselves well enough for you to speak of fondling my excited thoughts.

Sometimes I feel like you're conducting a psychology research on "How can you effectively get men pissed off". I just don't understand why do you need this research. And also, this forum is not a testing range.

Conducting a psychology research? And you actually present this claim after you’ve made a poor attempt at my psychoanalysis? Besides I don’t really need to conduct an experiment, it is quite clear that no effort is necessary when it comes to certain individuals who are in possession of an inferiority complex and exploit certain opinions of others beyond their original intent. And I believe that it stems from a personal agenda.

Besides, interestingly enough you speak of me generalizing yet in your post you seem to take an authority of acting as a representative of the male forum members, did you conduct a survey on how many men I pissed off? So far I know of only one…

My sarcasm is fine tuned but I have a different frequency.

Perhaps your frequency needs an increase in voltage, since it seems to be a little on the limp side.

Actually, you're good at guessing on the implications addressed to you and would make good diplomat.

Well thanks for the compliment; I’ll make sure to use you as my reference when I am applying for the job.
