It is still so. See what estrada means in Spanish=street? I also remember when the Lisitsian Sisters, daughters of Pavel Lisitsian were touring, their signature song was from the Negro Operetta Porgy and Bess, “I got notin of plenty, notin’s plenty for me”?A socio-political message of the times? I hope you guys do realize that I dont really think Bochelli is a restaurant singer, but at the same time I dont think he is a high end opera singer as well(by far). This is a sad comment for me to say but he is "lucky" to be blind or else he would have never reached such fame in my humble opinion. As for some of the rabiz singers: I have coyotes in the hill across my house and sometimes they howl at nights. Im pretty sure I can record that and play it next to those guys on Armenian tv and it would be hard to recognize which is the singer and which is the coyote.(yes I do exaggerate with everything in my life but that should be obvious to all just looking at my avatar and the size of the wine bottle. ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
