Dan
There's also Limewire, eMule and Soulseek (for entire albums). I have no problems with Kazaa Lite. I just downloaded a coupla mp3s and NBA Live 2003.
Sip
.... Is there any free software that converts .rm into mp3 format? I hate hate hate .rm files. Plus, I can't burn them on CD and listen to them on the bus. damn... Anyone? Thanks to stupid "Real" (that I hate also by the way), there is no straight forward way as they try to keep their technology very private ... that's why they suck and no one cares about them anymore. However, there is an easy solution to your problem. Set your audiocard mixer to record from the WAV output. Using the standard windows mixer, you can go to options, properties, and in there you can pick recording source. Then set volume levels to about 50% ... play your RM file while recording using windows recorder into a WAV file. Convert wav file to mp3

Dan
See Dan if you don't find what you need here. http://www.mp3-converter.biz/rm-to-mp3-con...rter-directory/ None. On another note, I was just downloading something off Kazaa (a pretty big file for my slow dial-up), and it turned out that it was something else... the #$@$# had put the file name wrong to deceive people, and well, I was fooled by it. How should I have known... Goddamnit, at least for music/movies, you can have a preview of it, for programs, you can't, and I really needed this goddamn program. Hrm.. I guess I'm just ranting. I hate people on Kazaa. Most of them are just stupid. I mean, what the hell is the point of deceiving people to download a program that they don't want, and that isn't working in the first place??!?!?!
