These days women get turned off EVERYTHING, and you have clearly demonstrated that on this forum. Some girls are even afraid of lists! - LOL. like wtf! Several years ago I got my first 'lesson' on women. Happilly coming home from school (by bus) I was about 14-15. This heavilly drunk middle aged man (prob 40-50 years old) got on the bus, keep in mind this is at around 3pm - LOL. Cant say he was well dressed, but I doubt he was homeless. Anyhow, he stumbled on and went to the back, I was sitting close-by and some girls/women also around. About 5 mins after getting on, he started mumbling, soon the bus stopped and one of the young women was about to get off, when this guy suddenly started swearing at her. Cant remmember all he said, but the main point was 'ALL THAT WOMEN WANT IS MONEY AND C@#K! - LOL. And he repeated that over and over - LOL. (I'm sure there's a certain portion out there who do possess those manly qualities!) so what if that was some old woman walking like that on the bus? i'm sure men would give her a 'dirty look' too... a statue? that's really sad dude! you're a young guy who i'm sure doesn't have a problem with the ladies ....why are YOU defending that guy? i don't know about this guy on the bus...but anytime somebody's out of line with their behavior GUY OR GIRL and they expect to be treated differently...then guess what? they do get treated differently...people will stare, point, roll their eyes, and even make comments... We have a higher suicide rate and die earlier/age faster etc. ....why are YOU defending that guy? Because he was drunk and speaking from his heart, obviously some bad experiences with women in his lifetime... Jug, there's NO hope for you bud! LOL - again very funny...and perhaps very true...still...not all...and perhaps you should think of dating older guys...really and seriously. I felt much the same way as you did when I was in my late teens/early twenties. Except for a few gals i liked (or had crushes on) I was basically not interested. Sometimes i would just cringe when I heard a gal speak - they seemed so giggly/gossipy/shallow and generally uninteresting (except how they filled out a sweater or looked in a bikini) and imature (again see previous comment in parens)...so I very much tended to date gals who were 5-10 years older then I was...and maybe that would work for you...don't know. I do sense that you are very particular (which is good/OK)...but being too particular...lets just say i know some (fine looking) ladies that are in their 40s - never been married...probably never will...because they are/have been so super picky - no guy is ever good enough (and at least one is a real she-witch [but a real sexy one...still...no luck/prospects...]...anyway...) And yeah - it is/can be work...but what of any worth isn't? Think about it. And your not getting any younger gal. You gasls tend to have a window of oppurtunity (maybe not 100% true as I've known some older unions that have worked...)...but you know what I mean (and i agree with you entirely about the demands on the ladies versus men - and that thus you should expect to be treated like something special...because you are....). Anyway - my point is that you are not only missing out in the present (because relationships are great fun, help you grow, and are ussually rewarding all around)...but you endanger your future. Don't become one of those bitter-man hating-self loathing etc etc old(er) women - who can never be happy because they are so upset over their circumstances - etc...its just no good - for you - or the rest of us...And besides...you just sound too pretty to be wasting away with no guy to (serve and) take care of you! And not to sound like an old prune as I am the first to believe that one should do as they wish to do with their lives, but I actually think that all 3 of those sites are really stupid. It feels like a meat market to me. It is initially kind of funny to go and see what is going on, but in reality i found it to be really dumb. The problem will be to filter out the crap .. i.e. fake advertisements that are designed to lure people into "spam" like deals (or porn sites) and non-serious postings ... but if done right, I see a lot of potential. Actually for some time, internet dating sites were among the fastest growing online-business segments (not sure about right now). It will also require a shift in people's thinkings which will happen I believe (just look how people caught onto email, surfing, im-ing, online shopping, etc.) ... but how exactly it will end up being and how soon, that I don't think anyone knows.
