But seriously - I am sorry for your desperation etc. My first advice is don't be - and don't be in such a rush (to find your dream guy or long term partner or whatever...and of course - don't force it). Secondly - I can't think that there aren't some nice guys out there to at least date or such...you may just be setting the bar too high...and you may be mnissing out (on at least some fun times...and you never know...). Of course I'm not advocating dating a baboon (or the male equivilant in attitiude/behavior or such). And I think you might have some success by joining a club or group. I always found that I met really nice people (gals...but there seemed to be a lot of nice guys too...) in hiking/backpacking club...and you'll get some good exercise and nice nature excursions too - and experieince some of the beauty of the world. And there are other activities of the sort as well. And if your looking for guys with bucks - perhaps sailing club, scuba diving or something to do with golf or horses. Another activity that worked well for my sister (who was always interested in meeting guys with money...LOL) was to go to fundraisers/benefits and other such (black tie type) events...a little stuffy for my tastes - but it all depends what your after I guess... anyway best of luck - and don't get too negative nor depsperate - in fact I think its better to wait (before big time commitment)...but fun to play the field and meet new interesting people in the meantime...and of course its nice to work up a sweat, let off some steam and experieince some tenderness (and roughness), and just nice physical contact...with some signifigant other or another or such....certainly wish I was young(er!) again...! Call me shallow but I never even would look at the ones without a picture. That's just not how the male brain works The ones without a picture are mostly "blah blah blha blah blah ... funny, sense of humor, understanding, blah blah blah, outgoing, blah and then some more blah's!!!!" Now about being a chef ... I think that is the ONE profession I would not be able to pull off. Why you ask? Because I have never been able to "finish" cooking a single meal I started ... it usually disappears with all the "tasting" and "checking" that I have to do. I mean, the Armenian party I went to last month, there wasnt a single girl that was 'hot' (and this is despite me being drunk), a few 'ok' ones and a vast majority of fuglies.
