Any ideas how to stop these cyber terrorist from attacking ? If anyone can help please E-mail me, We use Php-Nuke software for message boards and for some reason Admin has not responded to my messages, Again profusely thanking you in advance for any help. Sip Posted June 8, 2003 Report Share Posted June 8, 2003 What kind of attack and where are the attacks coming from (IP addresses)? I guess one typical way is to block the IP addresses from which the attacks originate. If the server is behind a firewall, the admin can block those IP addresses at the firewall or maybe ask the internet service provider to do it. If this is a more organized denial-of-service type attack (i.e. flooding the server with requests from many different places), then the service providers have to see how they can fight it. But they used forced scripting, It's somthing I have no clue about and I tried to locate IP's without any luck. Please have a closer look, The hacker left a message and perhaps a lead to follow up on. I'm also under attack since I moderate the boards, They wiped out my norton personal firewall and internet security 2003 software too and attempted to take over my PC remotely. Btw, I also installed Zone alert and since then I've been under constant attacks... Even as I'm typing my reply to you I'm getting bombarted with all kinds of warnings... Armenagan@armenia.comPlease provide more useful information - so far I don't even know what is exactly the problem and what kind of help do you expect from us.If you are only a moderator in the forum I guess even you don't have enough access to the website and to log files to see what's going on and figure out how to solve the problem. I suggest you to contact the webmaster of the site and get as much information as possible about the problem first. He may not be happy that you are asking for ourside help without his knowledge.Then provide to us (whoever wants to help) as much information as you can using private messaging system instead of posting it here and we'll try to help. Haw do you know if the site is or not getting attacks from Turkish Hackers Haw do you know if the hackers are Turkish. Armenia dot com has been idle for some time, I know for a fact the hackers are Turkish because of the name Cellat the signiture left to erk us, Visit the site and search under news articles April 24, Admin's, And it's clear why we got hacked, Also do a google search for Sheneanae security services they listed us for being a target, as I mentioned it before my PC got hit too...
