Racism, discrimination, disrespect, impoliteness, throwing dirt, etc. etc., are wrong and should not be allowed. But I don't see anything of that sort in Kazza's signature. Kazza's signature displays HER view, nothing else except for some Armenian chauvinism. Arthurs problem (well, ONE of Arthurs problems) seems to be that he sees things that arent there. Thanks for your concern, i do appreciate it, and also in the first PM you sent. In response to that , I have not had any respponse from Artur, in PM's, good or bad. I am sorry too that you have this extra workload too to deal with. You don't really deserve it. I'm glad to see that Artur is getting the relevant punishment for his actions. He should have never said half the things that he said to me. Like I said in public, I welsome discussions but they were below the belt because they were starting to get personal and I should not have to tolerate that. If somebody insulted me in that way in my personal life I would not take that so why should I on a forum? However I know the aim of those provocations was to provoke a response from me, so my aim was just to ignore them. I would never swear or use bad words on the forum normally as I know it's against the rules, but since time and time again Artur was insulting me, and he was getting no punishment, I felt pushed to those levels. And lost my cool. I suppose I just fell in the trap, which was stupid. I will not use swear words if you so request, I personally see nothing wrong with it, but if it's your rules then that's fine. I am sorry and to be honest , on a personal level: there was no real reason for me to swear at Artur. I should have saved my breath and energy looking back. That day I had far better things to devote my energies to. But there is one thing that you could not expect me to do , and that's just take what Artur was throwing at me. I don't think that's humanly possible for anyone to just ignore it. I don't want to see Artur banned, but I do agree with the warning you gave him. I also feel that the moderators take a look at some of the things he posts sometimes, and I think we all know what I mean. (Take a look at Aghchick's last posting in "Artur's demand...." ) in the name of armenianess or not, I think many of the members often feel offended at some of his veiws expressed, traditional and non-traditional members. I must admit, I feel that I am a person who is VERY tradtional in some ways, but in some negative aspects, not at all. I do value armenianness and hope i respect armenian culture too. At least I hope so! But there are some things I don't tolerate or accept, some of them being some very harsh exteme ideas about our women. I feel things like that have nothing to do with armenianness at all. I am not trying to be nasty or "get" at Artur, I think he can come up with intelligent ideas when he is not being immature. but just trying to express some beleifs. And some hometruth s that need to be addressed! This is a good forum MovsesJan and appreciate all the hard work you and Garo put into it, and mean that. But I also feel that there are times the moderators could do with listening to what the members want to see in it. And I also notice that some members constantly break the rules of conduct, and nothing is done, while others can get banned for breaking the rules once. I'm sorry for using swear words in haste. But I also feel that it's (more) harsh to give Winston a warniing. Please help us out, I really don't know what he has done wrong. I think he's only been doing right since this whole thing started. He has been the one being rational, and bringing some humour into it. He wasn't laughing AT Artur, rather trying to show him he saw it for the light topic it was. We was never nasty or personal. If anything I think me was trying to bring us all down to Earth! And before the response I think I have been very pleasant and rational, I feel that I do not deserve the same punishment as Artur, but I don't mind if you want to give me one. Please can I urge the moderators to take back Thoths warning? MovsesJan You are right, I would have changed the signature, if Artur went about it the right way by asking the MODERATORS to ask me. I would not have done so if Artur asked me because he is not in charge of the forums. The way you are coming to me asking me to change it, I will more than happy to do so with pleasure. There isn't any need to ask me in public. I don't know why you or Garo did not ask before, because it would have saved a lot of hassle and also not been a waste of the members time, having to look at all that conflict every time they wanted to contribute to a topic. It's okay Jan, I do not want Artur to write me any PM's or posts to be nice to me, unless he decides he wants to, not because a moderator has asked him. This is not the school playground. I know that's the way he is, he'll never change, and I accept him as long as he doesn't expect me, (never mind DEMAND) me to change my life's ideas change. I would say more in reply but I think I have said what I gave got to say in regard to this topic, and I think that's enough for now, about ME, but I still urge the moderators to take back Winston's warning. I know this might sound silly. but I just wan't everybody to get along. I never wanted an argument to come to this. Lol, it's okay to say I want everybody to be nice in hyeforum, but what about the aother armenian forums, (like diaspora.com, network54, etc?) They'd tear me apart! But in Kazza's sake i think she should get 2 good points (anti-warnings or what not) since she altered her sig voluntarily...even though the vote clearly was in favor of it remianing as it was.
