khodja
Dear Ali, Your efforts will help me to understand family connections and thereby extend the family tree back. We Armenians who are interested in geneology have found much difficulty finding records of our families in Turkey.
Harut
about the divisions that exists among Armenians what really put Armenians in categories is the time that they have left Armenia. those who are desendors of those Armenians who went out of Armenia in the early 20th century view Armenia and being Armenian as it was viewed back then. those who left Armenia in the middle of the century view Armenia and being Armenian as it was viewed back then. and so forth. because when an apricote is taken from an apricont tree and is put on an apple tree, it might grow but would never grow its apricot characteristics. its like you exit the freeway and get to the next exit by street, and when your friend exits the freeway from that next exit and says that the freeway is painted white, you cannot possible believe him, becaue is was black all the way to your exit.
