Actually MJ, I could be Armenia's embassador in France or Canada(or even perhaps Quebec, if it gets its independence ). Maybe that could be a start, and then perhaps if I get a little experiences I can have a place in the ministry of foreign affairs, when my English get better or Armeniaès embassador in Turkey, where me and Thorny will switch places, she will be the Turkish embassador in Armenia...

Years later, I come to you, with a piece of paper and ask you to write your recommendation letter, I become minister of education. So how's that ?

No Movses, etpesi gorts chem uzum.

(this is not a joke)

I would rather have a small wine bar or a software development shop.

My dream job would be to be in charge of some cultural(art related field) but I am in no way qualified for it. I personally feel that without Art Armenians(especially in the diaspora) will soon disappear from the face of the earth. I strongly feel that Art/culture are our glue and not the church or anything else.

You know, how one can know that(you having more time). It is when you answer my worthless and senseless posts, and make me realise that they are worthless and sensless.(make that the second result of lesson one)

Domino,

Take it slow, maan.... You haven't done anything on your own in yourr life, yet. Let's take it step by step, OK? First, you will work as an Associate. Then we will see.

Question for everyone !!!

What do you see your self doing in Armenia – what position would you think you qualify for in Armenian government – or what business do you think you can do in Armenia. What makes you most qualified for it.

What changes would you make in Armenia or haw can Armenia and Armenians in Armenia profit of you or your work.

:)like I like to be a English teacher

Mosjan,

Most of our well-known scholars and intellectuals just see themselves buried in Armenia but not living there. Kareli e mtazel, irenz hamar gerezmanoz e Hayastan'.

To answer your question I want to say that i am thinking about that constantly but have no idea what I can be useful for in Armenia in terms of profession. Maybe I just need to go there and live, and the life will show what I am able to do and what i am not.

togh Geghamyan@ ha iran jghi te "jhoghovurd@ qez chi uzum Kocharyan!!!"

"even though what we hear here about him"... Are you saying that what you get to hear "here", is not what they get to hear "there"?
in LA area, the media (at least the ones i get my hands on) are very anti-Kocharyan. so, all we hear is naggative commens and nothing else. and the general atmosphare is that he is not going to win.

btw, i think that most of the people here are just anti-Armenian-Government. period. no matter who's in charge.

It's been suggested/mentioned several times here that Kocharyan is corrupt and that there are (beter, more honest?) alternative candidates. Why would the people vote for Kocharyan then? I don't get this. Either democracy in Armenia is a farce or curruption has become a way of life for everyone, including the ones that don't profit from it.
the problem is that there isn't anyone worthy to become a president IMO. even if someone sounds very honest, he doesn't have enough credentials to be a president. that's why people would still vote for Kocharyan.

Armenians should elect some one who will make all Armenians citizen, not a second class. If I want to live second class, then I was born in parsgastan and lived there so be it. It is time to choose the people who will work for people. Look at Israel a Jew is one them, are we less than them. Maybe we are!
