Hey everyone I really need your opinion on this one I would really appreciate for your suggestions,

I have this two best friend (((lets say guys name is John and girls name is Kelly so I wont confuse you))) who are very close with each other not as boyfriend or girlfriend but as pure FRIENDS but couple months ago my best friend Kelly told me that she has this little crash on John but as time went by this so called (LITTLE) crash grew bigger and bigger every single day. And one day John and I were talking he told me that he really likes someone and when I asked WHO? He said this girl who I hardly know, I was so shocked because right there I thought of Kelly but I did not say anything to him I just smiled, and decided to keep this as a secret but after telling me he went straight to Kelly and told her same thing when she found out about John she called me that same night and told me what John told her and she was crying so bad you cant even imagine. Now John and other girl are kind of dating and Kelly is so depressed and sad I cant even recognize her anymore. Now she decided to change the school because of this CRAP as a call it I know its hard for her but it doesn’t mean that she wont meet someone as nice as John. Now I tried to explain this to her but she doesn’t want to understand the reality. I as a friend feel like I should do something to change her mind but I don’t know WHAT please help me because if she moves then I lose not just one friend but two. If you have any ideas please let me know I really would appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks

Can I have a math problem instead?

Ok first of all, let me say I am NO where near qualified to say anything in this case. But having said that, I am going to say it anyway

... If Kelly likes John so much, she should have told him long ago. Obviously they just can't go on being "pure friends" if kelly feels like that. BUT, now that there is some other girl in the picture, it's a much more complicated situtation. I think it's best in this case to wait to see what happens between John and the new girl. So, as of now, I'd say Kelly should stay out of John's "romantic life" and try to be as good a "friend" as possible. If it is impossible for her to maintain the "friendship", then she should slowly cut contact with John and move away if she has to. I don't see anyother way.

Unless, if John is not too serious about he new girl, then maybe it's best for him to find out about Kelly's feelings as soon as possible.

Good luck, and don't blame me for anything if a big fight breaks out and everyone ends up much more unhappy than before! I warned you right from the beginning.

Do you think its a good idea if i talk to John. and tell him whats going on or something like that. Should i tell him the truth? or should i stay away from this ugly picture. By the way Kelly is not as close friend with John as she was before she found out about him and the other girl. She keeps avoiding him somehow.Which What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Bye

i think if anyone, its Winston (THOTH) you should ask. But if it were up to me I would get John, Kelly, and myself together and get drunk (LOL), and all the truth will flow out, no problems. But since I think you are underage and hence cant drink, I dont see a solution (LOL).

Ahhh alcohol, its certainly solved all of my problems...LMAO. Just havnt had the chance to get drunk latelly, dang exams.

Ah! Alcohol, the source and solution to all of Juggy's problems (as Homer Simpson would say)

Varduhi jan, again, keep in mind that I am good with computers and not with much else. However, in this case, I think you shouldn't get too much directly involved. I, of course don't know all the details, but the way it sounds, it's a problem between John and Kelly and if you are good friends with both, you should LISTEN to both of them as a good friend should, but not interfere. You probably shouldn't try to force them in either direction either, since if things go wrong, then they may blame it on you

Varduhi -

I think your friend Kelly is getting overly worked up bout this one. First - she should not change her school - regardless. I mean - come now. Secondly - So this John likes and is dating somenone else...right now....their not getting married yet are they? Your friend Kelly should tell John how she feels...maybe through you. He may or may not feel the same way. If he does (and he might...but not realize that she likes him too) then obviously this issue should be resolved quickly. If he doesn't then they both need to have a heart to heart and see if their friendship can be worked out/maintained under the circumstance. Hopefully he is somewhat mature and sensitive and won't hurt her or be mean or such and they can remain friends (and this is a good thing - one never can have enough good friends). Meanwhile you should try to help her meet other guys and let her know that her bud John is not the only guy in the world...and also that one never knows - he may not have such feelings for her now (or may not be aware of them) - but if they stay friends you never know - they could develop. In any case life is too short to remain obsessed and messed up. She needs to work it out one way or another.

OK - does that help?

Well, cant say that it has created any problems. Though I can see myself 20 years from now being told by a doctor to stop drinking or suffer liver failure.

Vard,

LOL.....contact Jerry Springer he is bound to solve your little problem, and ull earn a little cash on the side. One thing though.....might have to spice up the story a little.

thank you very much everyone!!! your reply really helped me to decide what i want to do. THOTH i am assuming that he is not planning to get married at this time but who knows what he is thinking. and if i wasnt underage i still would not find Alcohol as the solution of this problem or any other problems, plus by drinking you make a new problem for your self and i dont find Alcohol to be a problem solver at all....

Sip i think your right i should stay away from this.

if anyone has more ideas i am more then happy to hear from you

thanks again

Its entirely up to you of course - what you feel comfortable with - but consider this: If your friend Kelly is going to make some bad decisions, and is hurting, and you could perhaps do something to give her some better options and/or to help her out - what should you do? Depends how good of a friend perhaps and if you think you can do some good...

THOTH

Thanks for your advice, that’s what I wanted to at the beginning but more I thought about it more I began to think about the awkward side of this problem I mean what if both of them start to hate me I mean I want to HELP them but I don’t want to be HATED by them. I just don’t know what John is thinking if I was in John place I would most definitely have noticed Kelly's attitude toward him when she fell in love with him. And about finding other guy friend for her I have tried but she completely refused. Well I guess I have no other option I think I should make them talk to each other about this.... I will let you know what happened and if this all turns out to be fine then you’re a genius THOTH.

Thanks!

Well....no (not hardly)....but anyway I hope it works out. I think being open and expressing oneself is almost always best in situations like this - because people (particuarly men) are not mind readers...far from it - even if to you (and others) she seems like she is comming on to him and such - he may have no clue. So perhaps everyone will be plesently surprised. Even if not I don't see how you could be blamed - just try to be delicate with it...as much as is possible.

HI dear Varduhi

AS a friend the only thing you can do is just talk to Kelly about not moving because it is not going to do any good to her why she need to dissopoint herself because of John. I understand Love is powerfull feeling but it does not mean you have to go a way because your loved one attends the same school avoiding is not solving to this problem. I know the worst part is to be sitting right beside John and knowing that she can't have him. Quote for Kelly "Don't cry because it is over smile because it is happened".

hi

THOTH today i got Kelly and John together, but it did not go well when Kelly found out what i wanted to say she left the room so i just told John about Kelly's crash and guess what he told me he said that he could not do anything because its too late and he feels sorry about hurting Kelly.

WHAT'S NEXT?

So what he is saying is that he didn't know and if she would have told him earlier they would be a couple now? If this is true then your friend, by not speaking to him now, is just continuing the sort of behavior (not expressing herself...can't expect guys to be mind readers) that got her into this siution in the first place. But if this is his current position (he likes his girlfriend then it seems - thats just the way it is...for now). How many of these romances last forever though? And Kelly is just going to have to learn her lessons from this one...and maybe they can still be friends and then you never know...but, except for perhaps talking this out with your friend Kelly - you have done your part...
