khodja
Baboyan, High class is not enough for them. wh00t
Hagarag, are you gearing that comment towards Armenians or girls in general? Because the same thing can be said of the Jews (the ever-present JAPs) and other groups in society.
khodja
The WASPS and Italians, etc. are more varied. Our girls in the USA put the Jewish American Princesses to shame. We are more stereotypically Jewish than the Jews themselves. If I see one more photographic spread of wealthy Armenians at a Beverly Hills or Hotel Pierre society ball I think that I will puke. All this while Armenians in the ROA are literally starving, while the Nor Harousts there are building residential castles and the flithy-rich clergy are building magnificanet Cathedrals. khodja
MosJan, I do not take ANY medication and have not for years. I do not need any medication. I have been given a bill of mental health. Is it so painful for the traditional Armenians to take a good look at themselves in the mirror and see what is happening to our Nation and diaspora? At this rate the Armenian nation will cease to exist as a sovereign country and the disapora Armenians will disappear through assimilation within 100 years. Azat
Hagarag,I want you try something for me. Go to your local bar on day one as you are and be your self and on the second day go there and with a Rolex on you and put the keys of your BMW next to your drink and see on what day more women would approach you. I would guarantee you that more women would approach you on day two. And you can try this in any country and it will still be true. This has nothing to do with Armenian or Jewish or Italian or blahblahian women, it just the way it is all over the world. Women in general are looking for men who can take care of them who can secure their future and provide for them and men are looking for someone who looks good.(I know I am making generalizations, but alot of it is true)
Kazza
quote:Originally posted by Bakersfieldian:I'm sorry if I go on a bit long or tell too much but I am still in shock from last night. A bit about me; I'm a mid 30's single, work at home father (I raise my 4 year old son by myself full time and love it!!!) who set a pesonal rule of no dating for minimum 1 year. The focus of my life are my son and my business. I feel extremely blessed with both. Last night I went on a date for the first time since........ OK, a very, very long time. She was an Armenian girl from the Valley.Cute, a beautiful smile, and sounded real nice over the phone. We went to dinner which appeared OK. Next she wanted to go to a bar. This was a total mistake! After a few drinks, she turned evil! Her language turned into a constant barrage of different and repeated versions of the F word. I will say it is interesting to see how many ways you can use that term. Noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, etc.. Either way, I was not amused. There was a friend of mine at the bar who was in the US Navy for 12 years. He said she must have been taking language lessons from the Marines because he never heard even a sailor speak with such vulagity. Combine that with her extreme volume, it was site for which I lack words to describe. The night ended with me driving her home (despite her behavior, I didn't ditch her. Probably a mistake). The whole way there she kept demanding I get a couple of 6 packs so we could party at her house. I didn't. Instead I just drove up to her apartment building where she proceeded to take 30+ minutes to find her keys. Meanwhile, Mexicans are walking by and staring in the car at me and the loud, foul mouthed, Armenian drunk. This is the closest I have come to actually walking around to the other side of the car and dragging a woman out by the hair (at least that was going through my mind. I was running out of options.) After telling her numerous times I could not (I had to go pick up my son from my fathers house)and would not go up stairs with her, she finally just slobbered a kiss on my cheek and got out of the car. Woohoo!!!! I finally got away!!! My question is.......... What has happened to Armenian girls??? Is this behavior common now??? any other input you might have is welcome.O Please, please don't think they are all like that all because of that one girl. That would be a real, real, shame. Although some of them act like bimbos there are a lot of lovely, family orientated Arm Girls out there so don't worry! I don't think it's a case or aremenian girls in particular, but some PEOPLE. Lots of people react to drink in strange ways, for example, some people start crying, some people are addicted to drink and they still have exactly the same behaviour, facial expressions, some people talk too much. But I can beleive she turned into a different person for the worst, becuase drink can completley change some people. Islam says, "Alchohol is the root of evil" i think they have a valid point. Poor guy, I can well imagine you weren't amused! All I can say to you is you were lucky you found out so soon that she is alchoholic. Because that is what she is if her behaviour turned so dramatically. Good thing you went to a bar at the first date because she could have been drinking before a date and you would not know what the matter is with her. One of the Jaguar's I had was the most beautiful XJS on the road (It should considering how much myself and the previous owner wasted on it!). Even British Car Illustrated Magazine said so and put it on their front cover back in 95. It's amazing the difference in the way people behave towards you, especially women. I had quite a few women (good looking too) actually see the car on the street and come into our business asking if the owner would "give them a ride". Women you have never met hold the door open for YOU and smile. One woman after filling her car up offered to pump my gas. Women see the car and the Rolex and either want to sink their claws into you or set you up with their daughter. I won't give these people the time of day because of the way they act when I'm driving my Ford Taurus and wearing my Vostok watch. Enough for now, I have to go pick up my Jaguar from the shop. khodja
So are most of the world's women really just a bunch of whores? Is this what they are REALLY looking for?
Azat
I never said that it makes them whores. I don't think that trying to maximize your possibilities for the future makes you a whore. It is reality. Weather you or I like it or not. All that stuff about women liking men with a good sense of humor or one who is sensitive goes out the window when you have money. Just look at Kirk for a second. Do you think his now x-wife was interested in his 84 year old wrinkly chest? Or the arm candy that many of the dot comers got last year and the year before was because women were all of a sudden interested in guys who know C++? By the way same goes for men. We are as shallow as women. We all would go out with a woman who is HOT even if she is as smart are that wall in front of you. Anyways. This is a totally different subject than what Bakersfieldian had started.
MosJan
“what is happening to our Nation and Diaspora” nothing extraordinary, same that’s happening to any other diasporas of any other nations. “At this rate the Armenian nation will cease to exist as a sovereign country and the Diaspora Armenians will disappear through assimilation within 100 years.” I would say even sooner then that, it’s amassing that Armenian in Iran ( witch was also an Armenian Diaspora ) war aybul to keep their identity for 400 years, their coulter, their traditions. Armenian in Lebanon or suria even stronger Armenian Diaspora community then USA Armenians, just do some comparisons. It’s not only Armenian – it’s everyone Us for the women or man in USA, some say that we do have a problem, and some say it’s their own life they can do what they like . Just like on April 24th I have spend 3 hours in Hollywood, and must everyone was ok , but when I was in Montebello, I so some girls wit parsed noses, with open bellies and this new low cut /no belt , even some man ( 10-20 year old ) parsed ears and thongs, some parsed noses. And for some reason most of the orders Armenians war not battered by that, just like it was normal. Have I diverted from the original topic yet? Anyway we do have girls that will make a nasty impression, but we do have many girls that are worth dieing for, and for many of us having a Armenian wife is the only way to go, it’s just matter of time for one to find their soul mate. No offense to our nonArmenian members. Movses

khodja
Sorry Whoot, never claimed to mingle with the children of world leaders. Grandson of a Georgian noble and her American industrialist husband, yes. Political connections with the Kennedy family and now former Congresspersons, yes. Mingling with relatives of Americans prominent in politics, yes. Formerly married to the daughter of a top executive, yes. Mingling with the children of world leaders, NO! Blind in one eye, yes. The rest are true, although you have made it seem that one or two instances are more usual than unusual. As for Boghos' St. John's Press comment, you have a thin skin don't you? Any criticism of Armenian life and you make me a Turkish agent.Do you really think that we Armenians are all SOOOOO wonderful? MosJan
Criticizing and complaining has never solved anything or has never found any solutions to any problems. When you find a logical solution to a problem then you can criticize all you like. Just like if you do not have a antibiotic / disinfecting medicine you better not touch that wound you have, since by touching a wound and living it open would cous even bigger problems. khodja
MosJan, The CURE is to overcome hypocrisy. We are not the only ones who possess this trait, although WE exhibit it better than most other nationalities. If we are such CHRISTIANS, we should exhibit more "Christian" attributes. This means letting no one starve, especially in our own nation. This means no more of our young women selling their bodies in every red-light district in Europe and the Middle East. This means having compassion for peoples of other nationalities that are suffering. It even means stopping the killing in the ROA, including the slaughtering of those who disagree with the establishment (Poghosyan) and those considered undesirables (homosexuals).
