I ended up with Culpepper, Rickey williams, and the RAMs defense!!! wooo hooo. Thoth ... you got Faulk! Now you better hope he can stay in one piece this season ... if he does, your life (as far as the league is concerned) would be much easier But I have to say I am really PI$$ED with CNN ... their pre-ranking sucked but their "random order draft" really sucks If you look in the "random" draft, you are always right before me and poor Tigranes is always 2 steps after me! What kind of random draft is that? In their method, the guy before you gets unusually high advantage. They should have done 1 to n and then n to 1 order like any normal programmer would ... I'm happy with my team though - I knew I wouldn't be getting a great QB - but that was an intentional sacrifice for domminance at the RB and WR positions. My team will be very tough - you all will see (even with eeech - Kordell) Tigrans - your team ain't bad (and I do think that the skins will be a very good D this year and Farve/Holt/Dillon are good too - but potentially inconsistent this year)- and you are in (by far) the toughest division - all of our teams are good. I would be surprised if you win the division - but not a bad team - I admit. And Seaphan - your team is certainly impressive as well - good job on the draft. I made one mistake (and ampissed) - no biggie - but how the hell did I rank Dunn above Bettis and Pittman...I just didn't see it I guess. I see charmin and the boglers as tough teams - and suspect that they will win their divisions easily. ours is a real toss-up IMO - and since we all play each other twice (I think) our records will likely be somewhat diluted as opposed to those other two. I tried to trick the computer by putting a guy like Torry Holt ranked ahead of Randy Moss.... that backfired. I somehow got stuck with Mike Alstott, any trade offers? I'm in 2 other leagues and winning in both games going into tonight and Monday night - but all promiss to be nailbiters. In one I'm done but he has Alstott - I'm up by 15 (and feel pretty good) In the other again I have Faulk plus Keyshaun...but he has Rams D, Gramatica and someone else (Tight end?) forgot...and I'm up quite a few - but don't remember how much...again should be OK - but you never know...you worry me the most... Its funny - but I have Eddie George in both other leagues and benched him for last minute replacements...in each case if I had gone with Eddie I'd be a lock (sucks...but how could I play him? He didn't sound like he'd be on the field at all - and I checked even at the 11th hour...so it goes... OH & good show Tigrans! I've been watching him his whole career, I know he's good for about 20 points a week. I really need to get some production out of my running backs. If Torry Holt doesn't put up some numbers this week, I might be starting Donald Driver next week (94 yards, TD this week). Both of your teams played really bad. Why couldn't we get that kind of production the last two weeks (: THOTH has the upperhand with the Marshall, but Gruden might have that D ready to shut down the Rams..... I hope so, I dont need that Swede coming back with a big game from Warner- unless Holt gets all the TD scores. I get another shot at both of you this year. If anything you may get more points out of the Ram's D - since some of the TB scoring was by their D and not the offense. Actually - right before the end of the game it had Rams D with 10 points and gave them back a point (that they had previously had)...do you realize as well that that lest TB score (interception) gave you an EP to tie me as well....argh..(at least I won in my other two leagues...even with Faulk getting hurt...hope/don't think it is too serious... It seemed that we tied...but the live scoring is not official - and is often off a few points. What sucks is that they seem to have crossed some of this last weeks owners with next weeks teams/players etc and I cannot seem to find the official "box score" of our game...but I'm sure they will figure it out. heh - I like the win - but if I were in your shoes I would be pissed - and I don't want that - we are doing this to have fun (too bad more Armo's didn't sign up...) I knew he was going to take me to school but had no idea it was going to be so biblical on in scale! I mean his defense (oakland) had 2 TDs in the first quarter! In one of my other leagues I was ahead by a comfortable margin (20ish) (and I had high score for the week by a wide margin...)....of course he had Shaun Alexander...I think I sent him a message congratulating him on his victory sometime in the 2nd quarter.... Besides I'm mostly a fair weather (Caps) fan...and its been a dreary forcast of late - ever since they made that great run a few years back (and they can never seem to get past Pit anyway...Should be interesting with the new caoch - though I like Ron Wilson (very much a straight shooter with the media/fans)....but he couldn't use the talent to its best advantage (mainly Jagre).
