Changing your name/surname to Odar......

I have received the following email from our old psychopath Iranyar, today. Most interestingly, while originating from his email address, it is signed under a name Maurits van Oranje [iranyar@yahoo.com].

 

I want to make a public announcement here that I don't enjoy communicating with him, nor I have time to deal with him. And there is nothing I can do to help him. The only help he may receive is from a very experienced psychiatrist, which I am not.

I wanted to tell you you are very wrong, In Iran all Armenians have Armenian surnames. In fact anyone who doesn't like his herritage and want to be different has a psychic complex. By saying this mr. Raffi your friend should be the first one who should change his Arabic name, but you you say your name is Martin (which I doubt I think it is Mehmet or Moshe!)and you think that it is a cool name, because sounds so American, but it's not. It is coming from Aryan Mart/Mard (=man or strong young man, if you knew Armenian you knew that word) and I am sitting here laugh at people who are traitors to their backgrounds.

when somebody is changing his/her lastname, i don't see why he/she should keep the ending ian/yan. they are many modifications of Armenian lastnames that don't end with ian/yan but still have Armenian values.

especially in Russia, I THINK (not sure), many people prefer to change the ending but keep the stem.

BTW: i don't see anything wrong with this.

I am Armenian and NOBODY in this world can change that or even effect me, especially a liar (remeber his lies in Cyberiran about MJ having Steve being bitten in LA ).

 

Apparently he started missing us , or he was not given enough attention in the other sites he is 'preaching'.

Well to tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind de-banning him and let him back.

What harm can he do? Most members are clever enough to communicate or ignore him!

 

I had the feeling that he has started e-mailing some members, especially the new ones. Basically I was right.

SOME say that MY name "Kouioumzian" sounds turkish. My fathers family from the grandparents generation are proper Hayastanis, they have never been outside armenia before pre 1915. They come from the "russian" end of armenia. How is this so then. Aaargh, does this mean I'm not really armenian after all? please say it's not so? Besides, even if someone told me that anyway I'd not beleive tham, I have too much of the "hay spirit!" (like Charlotte! )

I don't want to argue with you, but if you are spreading lies and propaganda or you are insulting me, I have to say something. And don't bullshit again, everyone knows that you two are psychic and not me, you loosers have banned me and kept up bashing me, this is something what the 15 years old girls do. and about my name: Nope I have no dutch ame, my nickname amoung my dutch friends is also Iranyar, and everyone should respect that, I still remember bitting the hell out of an Arab who said nonesense about Iranians. So I have no shame because of my background, and I still speak my native languages that i should and i guess my Armenian is also better than you.

Your name is Arabic, if i had an Arabic name i would have changed it immidiately, and you said you are from Lebanon, and as I know that many Armenians in Lebanon have intermarried with Christian Arabs, so maybe you are not pure Armenian but have arab blood in you, therefore you feel bad and everytime you say you are pure Armenian, i have not seen pure Armenians say this so frequently. i would say learn sme manners.

 

And if you wanted to know that: maurits van Oranje is the first Dutch prince, this is my nickname at Dutch forum, it is because to tell them your first king was a foreigner, and the dutch next king would be even more foreigner, because son of queen has married an argentinian girl. It's not the same as those stupid Iranians here who have changed their names to Mike, Frank and nancy! To be sure I have a real Aryan name, with a Iranian georgian surname and I won't change it even not by force.

 

and about un-banning me: Should i say thank you? first of all banning me was against human rights, you taken my right of expression and then constantly talked nonsense and attacked me, if I was not banned I wouldn't argue with you, i was never one who started, but you are the one who you don't want me to have around, to go on with your propaganda and childish behaviour.

I was reminded....When I was applying for naturalization, at one point during the long process I was asked whether I wanted to change my name. At the time I was so naive I didn't quite understand what was meant by that. I remember thinking to myself "why the hell would I want to change my name??!!" So I smiled to the man behind the counter and said "no, I'll keep mine, but thank you for asking"...

 

Now I would think twice if somebody asked me that again. I wouldn't do it of my own initiative, the opportunity would have to be there. It's much "easier" to have an "american" last name. How preferrable it is I haven't quite decided.

 

I'll tell you this much. I'll change my name to an "otar" last name if I marry a non armenian.

 

So I think the long and the short of this is no, I wouldn't, but yes, I would if I were taking my husband's last name and he happened to be non armenian.

no. never. I would never consider changing my name and last name. I hate my first name and my last name has a turkish work as a prefix, but I ould not change it for any reason. Plus I think this is something that nobody has a say in it but the person with the name. So telling oters that they should change or not change their "Armenian" name is non of our business.

Reading his email sent to MJ and me, you can see that he is becoming personal eventhough we have never met, we don't know each others' backround etc.etc.etc.
