Anshnork
I was just wondering which of our fellow forum-ers believe or advocate the philosophy of Karl Marx.

gamavor
I do not, but "according to some", Harvard University Professors are pretty good on that as oppose to Chicago University.
MJ
quote:Originally posted by gamavor:I do not, but "according to some", Harvard University Professors are pretty good on that as oppose to Chicago University. It depends on the depratment. The Department of Economics or Finance in the University of Chicago are pretty anti-Marx establishments. As a matter of fact, these departments are where the modern financial theory was born. However, their Political Science department is a cradle of socialism, as most of such departments in the Academia worldwide are.
Juggernaut
On Marxism I'll just quote Sir Winston Churchill (the wartime leader of Britain) and one of the greatest politicians in history. "BABBOONARY" - Churchill decribing Marxism/Bolshevism. Sums it up preaty well. No?
LithiumC4
Churchill? A great what? That anti-Russian imbecile was the most sneakest of all leaders during the war. Do you know how full of himself he was? He is not a person to be spoken of highly.

Churchill was one of the greatest leaders this world has ever seen (in the last century or so). he was tremendously intelligent and insightful and was very much responsible for Britain triumphing in both World Wars - etc. Sure he had a rather large ego - sure he was an old imperialist (if you were Indian or Arab perhaps I would not begrudge you your statement) - but face it Churchill was a very great man - the likes of whom us seeing in our lifetimes (again for some of us) is very slim.
