If you're in the Southern california area on October 20th make sure to visit the Getty Museum. There is going to be a lot of Armenian art from UCLA at the Getty and I believe there is going to be some kind of show.

Aghmug, I have made contacts with CSUN's Armenian Student Association and we even had a meeting a few days before the Armenian genocide Memorial Day march in Little Armenia," but it isn't enough. Man I'll have to admit it, a lot of our Armenian youth in America are very disgraceful. I'm telling you, it's all the liberal influence.

I'm curious if anyonoe knows an affective way to inspire our youth to contribute to Armenian events, activities, clubs, politics, etc. I can use my club at my high school as an example. I started an armenian club last year and it's really difficult getting anything done when no one cares. What can I do? We don't have a large Armenian population at our school. I'd say about 15-20 and a number of white/armenians. I'll take any advice w/ a non-provincial attitude.

O'Reilly has a Puritan mentality, though he's Catholic, and was brought up that way. I see that he cares about saving innoscence in our youth, but he's targeting the wrong country. I personally haven't heard any talk about school discipline, but is it so extreme? How many children in the Soviet Union would insult, disrepect, shoot!!!, etc a teacher? I'd like to be aware of people esp. in congress who are anti-Armenian and people in general. It's good to know who is and isn't. I know of a few. US Vice President Dick Cheney is anti-Armenian, Dennis Hastert, Bill Clinton. My definition of anti-Armenian is one who will not support our agenda. Any body want to help me continue the list?

Armenia is barely the size of California and isn't ethnically diverse. I see your point from O'Reilly perspective but you have to "multiply that by infinity" to get the same reaction from an Armenia who discovers his country is populated with non-Armenians.

As it was revealed Armenians are a nation who have no heroes, whose culture is corrupt (actually there is no such a thing as Armenian culture since almost everything is receipt from Arabs, Turks, and Russians). I can not agree with you more, Bob Dole as president would have been great and about Woodrow Wilson. The main point is, he wasn't radical as would have been the case with Roosevelt. Wilson even went on a campaign across America promoting a certain something or other and help for Armenia, till his death. Basically, it's all up to Armenians to get their diplomas, unite, and adopt to this American lifestyle, instead of relying on non-Armenians.

I'm curious if there are books about our Christianity at stores such as Barnes and Noble or Border Books? I'm sure you can order them from the internet, but I would prefer to walk into a store and see a large, colorful, picture-oriented book about the 1st Christian kingdom.

AUGUST 10 2001 O'REILLY Mr. O'Reilly brought in a frm. ambassador from Norway as a guest today and was analyzing the reasons why Norway is statistically considered the number #1 country to live in. I can not quote his exact words but he said something of this sort: "So yeah Norway is a good country, you wouldn't want Turkish or Armenian people there." How dare he defame our culture which is considered one of the most intellectual and sohphisticated cultures out there.

MJ, That is a great idea and I happen to know of a person who is about 22 and has recently been asked to create a western headquarters for the Armenian Assembly of America. I don't know if he is affiliated with Armenian Student Association but I will definately talk to him about your idea. I don't want to make an enemy but O'Reilly needs to be criticized just a tad for that statement.
