sen_Vahan
"I have been reading the Armenian opinions about the Jews and I have surprisingly seen that the Armenians have a strong obsession with the Jews. I wonder if the Armenians or any of them has a solution for their "Jew" and also a solution for their "Turk" problem. In other words what will you do when you have the infinite power?" This is how the topic was started. Did you get the answers from the members of this forum?Did you discuss it with them? Did you thank them? I just want to note that your last question has nothing to do with the first two. We maybe have a problem of "Turk" or "Jew" but how about you? If we have an infinite power we will no more have such a problem as "Turk" or "Jew". Guess why? Because nothing can be compared with the infinity. One cannot distinguish miserable problems having the background of infinity. Your question does not make any sense, it only shows your intellectual misery. Come back to this discussion when you have the solution of YOUR "Armenian" problem in your own mind.
joseph
I think the question should be asked like this : Why every other nation in this world have obsession with the jews , every people that they lived with throughout history have obsession with them , how do I know , because the state of israel is rescueing them from every where they exist and call it " operation rescue " does that tell you any thing . when a jew thinks that he is first class race and every other race is second class or subhumans that creates obsession my friend . Sip
Hmmm ... I read ALL the discussions (Edit: between Domino and Kaan IN this thread!)... Kaan says Domino is wrong.Domino says Kaan is wrong. Based on this, isn't it obvious that Domino is wrong? Come on Domino, I think you owe Kaan about 20K ... cough it up. THOTH
Sen_Vahan - right on the money! Hovsep - I cannot agree with you here my friend. Do you reliae that in some parts people say the same things about Armenians? Just because our two peoples are industrious, educated and are successful - largely due to the results of a sort of Darwinian process through history...welll others get jealous - or don't understand our insular, internal looking ways. Yes, i see Jews and Armenias as very similar sorts of people who have been persecuted similarly and who hold similar values - its a shame that those of us in each group seem to be more concerned with only ourselves and not the larger picture - thus (some) Jews seek exclusivisity for their genocide and (some) Armenians harbor racist attitudes towards jews. Quite a shmae really.
THOTH
Sip - I don't see this as a joking matter. Well Kaan is a bit of a joke - but his accusations and the continued Turkish campaign of denail are very serious - and are hurtful to me and to most Armenians I should think. He in particular (along with his racist cronies at ATAA) have gone out of their way to very selectively paint a distorted and untrue picture and claim that they have facts. Domino has done a wonderful job these past several years researching these issues and bringing good data to oppose these denialist types (where most Armenians rely more on emotion and less on comprehensive facts). Domino's diligent work should be applauded by all Armenians. What he does is very serious - of the highest order - IMO. Sip
Dear Thoth, that was exactly what I was getting at! I have known Domino for quite some time now and I have come to respect what he says. So I find it quite humorous that someone would expect to "win an argument" so-to-say, by simply insulting the integrity of someone who is rather well-known around here. Sip
Oh and I don't think I could ever take anyone seriously, who starts off by something like: "... how to deal with the x problem" where x is any type of a generalization such as Jew, Turk, Angolian, etc ... That immediately tells me that the person asking the question either has no clue, or is extremely biased in one way or another, therefore any "discussion" is rather meaningless. THOTH
OK - I see now. You should lok at the reference thread on the genocide forum. Kaan surfaces a number of issues that we have been seeing lately that are serious ones for us to counter. Though they are false - they are presented in such a way that the uniformed mey see them as believable. Lately I have noticed an increased sophistication in the presentations of ATAA (being cut & pasted by these Kaan types all over the internet). It is important that we are able to counter these allegations, false and half-truth statements with fact. We are lucky to have a Domino who has dons some really incredible research. (If only his English ewas a bit better and he could stay out of the name calling/emotional replys [difficult I know] - but he has improved in the former tremedously - you should have seen his level of English several years ago - he made great points but decifering them was always a chore - LOL). Initially I didn't know who this guy was - but it was readily apparent that he was a generalizing racist type at the very least. "You Armenians" etc etc. These people can't quite understand how they come accross - how they give themselves away...
Guest Fadi
Come on thoth, you know Seaphan better then that Have a little sense of humour BTW, about your comments regarding Kaan, you have it on the mark, you understood exactly why I attacked him, he started with him knowing everything, I gave him sources then he told that he will study German archives, American archives etc... who cares, what I asked him was to bring those things now, just post them, he rather decided to come with cheap trick and telling me how I have manipulated and forged, and how I was a liar, he never dare to prove his accusations, then he comes with his deal to bet with me, amd when I refuse he start alleging that I am afraid of losing. Who in his right mind will accept such bet, really ? This guy allege having writen to the queen of England that answered him, and many other things such as this, my proposition was really more easy amd fair, he prove I lied and I quit the genocide issue and never again post about this topic, and say it never happened... it was a really fair deal, he refused amd rather asked for a deal he knew I would refuse. BTW seaphan, when I have read your "x" comment I said to myself, here we go he started with the "x-x" thing...
