Teddy Bear??? Roosevelt and the AG

Yes folks I'm talking about our great (republican) 26th President Theodore Roosevelt. I would like to see if I will get any discrepancies from anyone if on record I say this: Teddy Roosevelt is a great zealot in terms of his mentality during the Armenian genocide and people should be aware.

The man wanted to go to war with Turkey but the American people (arrogance) had a proclivity to switch far to the left and vote Woodrow Wilson for president, who don't get me wrong, did contribute supplies for Armenian survivors.

I just wonder what would have been different if Teddy was nominated once more in the election of 1912....

Still, Woodrow Wilson was probably the most pro-Armenian US president ever (correct me if I'm wrong)... he drew up the Treaty of Sevres! Before that, he tried persuade the United States to accept a mandate for an independent Armenia, but the Senate refused the responsibility.

"The territorial claims of the Armenians today, remain as legitimate and as valid as on the day, when that great champion of justice Woodrow Wilson, President of the United States at the time of the Versaile Treaty in 1921, boldly pointed on the map at the Turkish occupied region of Armenia, unhesitatingly and unequivocally stating 'That belongs to Armenia.'"

While you think of what would have been different with Teddy as prez, I still dream about Bob Dole being the leader of the free world rather than pro-Turkey Clinton. That would've been a big victory for the Armenians.

I can not agree with you more, Bob Dole as president would have been great and about Woodrow Wilson. The main point is, he wasn't radical as would have been the case with Roosevelt.

Wilson even went on a campaign across America promoting a certain something or other and help for Armenia, till his death. Basically, it's all up to Armenians to get their diplomas, unite, and adopt to this American lifestyle, instead of relying on non-Armenians.
