How did Croatia after 3 wins screw up so bad? And the penalty kicks ... aaaaaahhhhhh. Unreal!!! Այ էստեղ են ասել ... շան բախտ ունեն շունշանորդիք: But I think Germany will kick their behinds. Harut Posted June 22, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2008 i may be putting too high of a standard for this (and world cup) tournament, but the games i've watched so far (including the 2006 world cup) have been of very poor quality... except at some isolated occesions, teams lack enthusism... the passes are lousy and total number of shots on target are so few... the teams that are supposed to be the football powerhouses rely on counter-attacks or otherwise present very "confused" team plays... no one has shined yet as an outstandingly talanted individual player... yes, some are better than others, but no star yet... plus, the behavior in the field has reached to the levels of stupidity - diving, acting, rolling on the groud, and other trained behaviors of killing the game spirit and pace are very very disappointing... First half they had some chances but Spain completely shot them down and controlled the second half. Arshavin and Yurylenchenco were almost invisible by Spanish defence. The second goal was a gift by Russia, it was a result of playing the off side trap. I'm dead against playing the off side trap at any time, there are too many variables for it to work. At least half of my prediction that Spain will be in the finals came through, yes if they play the same way they have a good chance but the German luck is known and their ability to create goals.
