Em
Random thoughts: Life is a series of encounters, meeting strangers, growing very close--inseperable, and evetually and perhaps fortunately drifting apart. With each stranger turned friend (?) taking a piece of you with them. So making new friends = losing pieces of self... what a trade off. Does financial security equate to moral bankruptcy? Is Bill Gates as philantropic as he appears? Is he trying to save his soul by donating large portions of wealth? Tomorrow....tomorrow...tomorrow...until one day you wake up and all your yesterdays have created your life, your chosen reality....... you walk a path..chosen unwillingly, unknowingly by the stranger that yesterday was you. And yet you must walk it..like it or not. Love kills slowly. -Ed Harrdy Unrequited love kills quickley and takes no prisoners. -Me Muys anqam tgha em uzum tsnvem...From my mouth to God's ears. Harut
Does financial security equate to moral bankruptcy? 1. that's a myth created by losers who could never achieve financial security... 2. that's a control mechanism to keep poor poor, just like religion... Muys anqam tgha em uzum tsnvem...From my mouth to God's ears. a survey of students done by one of my classmates back in college showed that overwelling majority of women who would want to be born men cited the reason to be "to be able to urinate standing"... go figure... When we wre very young, when we did not have all the entertainment media of today, one of our most entertaining passtimes was to gather as much combustible material that we could, make a bonfire and eventually gather around it, act as firemen and direct our urine to douse the flame. Jullet(Juliet), who was a tomboy and thought she was a boy, noct to be outdonez by thez boys would also participate, lowering her panties, bending as far back as she could and direct her "flow" to match the boys'. Idon't know where she is now. I'm sure she is a mother, or even a grandmother in her owm right. BTW. Jullet came from an Armenian Catholic family hence her Frankish name (Her older sister was similarly named Victoria/Victor, who in her own right was also a tomboy as well.) Em
Was the survey done in mental rehab centers??? Vor Haruti grats@ kardatsi gites inch hishetsi? Anyone who took at least Psych 101 should be familiar with Freud's pen#$ envy theory. (For all others: Freud saud that all little girls are infatuated with their fathers, envy their mothers and want to have a male organ so that they can be like their daddys . I do not remember the whole thing well (since I disagree with his theory ), but I think it was along those lines. I have no desire to pee standing up. I would just like the freedoms and entitlements that comes with being the opposite sex.....interpret that as you will. Bayst Ani has a point; of all the reasons to envy men, I am amazed that peeing upright was the primary reason given.

Em
Why is it so hard to please one's parents? There is not a more complex and at the same time amazing relationship as that between a mother and daughter. It is a love - hate relationship bordering on the insane.
