AB is a hero.

Why don't you shut the hell up!

What the hell does being the third in grants have to do with this issue.

Afghanistan and Zululand also receive US aid.

How about those trillion billions wasted on "Iraqi democracy"?

How can you compare those dollars wasted on that "god's chosen land" to hold back the supremacy of those "oil barons" in the neigborhood and the dollars sent to ROA?

Is the latter contingent that Armenia check and hold back Turkish Turanian expansionism?

Or is it to mollify them to submit to the supremacy of Osman vs that of the Tsar?

No matter.

We will take it.

Please send more.

Has anyone ever told you before that you are the second biggest "punchuni" next to you know who whose initials are AB?

Where are you Erwand Otian?

For your information Shahan, Armenia gets the third most US aid money per capita after Israel and Egypt. Do you want to stop that money going to "Yerevan" also?

Yes. That is a moral dilemma. Therefore I take the stand that Armenia should be self-sufficient. A people should not rely upon anyone else for their livelihood and self-defense. I support the full self-determination of the Armenian people in Armenia. By relying on hand-outs from the U.S. (with STRINGS ATTACHED that favor American and foreign multi-national corporations) and loans from the World Bank, the Armenian people will become lazy and/or debt-slaves to private investors/capitalists via such "international" vehicles such as the World Bank behind which these capitalists hide.

It is not enough to "symbolically" hold and live on your own land. In this age of free trade, free flow of (monetary) capital, and free flow of people, what is increasingly important is ones self-determination on his/her own ancestral homeland. What good is having Armenia, when legally (in Armenia law) the energy power plants are owned by Russia, the cell phone industry is owned by Greeks and Italians, and the country is in billion-dollar debts with the World Bank (which is really a vehicle by by INDIVIDUAL capitalists). What good is it when Armenians living in their ancestral homeland have been turned into debt-slaves of foreign (non-Armenian and non-Armenia resident) investors???

In such a scenario -- Armenia's dependence on hand-outs and debt-slavery of the nation -- Armenia will become another Africa -- a country that can't even make its own milk and cheese, feed its citizens. We must strive to make Armenia as self-sufficient as possible ESPECIALLY when it comes to the basic services that should be owned and operated by the public: health, education, infrastructure (energy, roads, water, utilities), agriculture.

AB is a hero.

Yeah right!

How soon you forget when you likened me to him.

He is a hero?

Sure!

We will erect his statue at every "shithouse in Yerevan".

I only wish he would have the courage to repost his all time mastur-(batory)-piece- "Shithouses of Yerevan" . A city he has never been or will ever be.

Yervant Odian

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yervant Odian (Armenian: Երվանդ Օտյան or Երուանդ Օտեան) (1869-1926) is considered to be the one of the most influential Armenian satirists. Odian's writings, which include novels and short stories, often humorously point out humanity's vices. He had the unique ability to conceive of and write stories at any given instant.

In 1915, Yervant Odian was expelled from Istanbul due to the Armenian Genocide. He was able to avoid falling victim to the genocide by becoming a translator for German officials in the Ottoman Empire since he knew many languages such as Turkish, German and French. In 1918, after World War I, he took up the responsibility of collecting orphans left over from deportations in the deserts of Syria and placing them in orphanages. His only real source of income was through his writing.

Odian spent the last days of his life in Cairo, Egypt where he was buried.

Odian's most famous works include «Ընկեր Բանչունի» (Comrade Clueless) and «Տասներկու Տարի Պոլսեն Դուրս» (Twelve Years Out of Istanbul).

Comrade Panchoonie

By Yervant Odian, translated from the Armenian by Jack Antreassian, illustrated by Alexander Saroukhan

Comrade Panchoonie (Good-for-nothing) represents an Armenian Revolutionary propagandist who is assigned by his party to visit the provinces and revive the nationalistic spirit among the people. The book is a series of letters in which he reports his activities and adventures to his superiors.

In Panchoonie's character the psychology of Armenian nationalistic parties is mercilessly ridiculed. And it could not have been an easy thing for Odian to do: to point up the weaknesses and follies of movements that sought, no matter how ineffectually, to serve the national interest.

Born in a suburb of Istanbul in 1869, Odian first published a short story at the age of 23. He just barely survived pogroms of 1896 and went into exile.

Armenia will never become self-sufficient until she has an outlet to the sea. Under present circumstances she is doing about as well as she can. Until the Turkish colonial empire is completely dissolved, Armenia will remain in a weakened state.

That is not a valid argument. Here is a list of thriving land-locked countries for your information with over $15,000 in GDP per capita:

Austria | Pop. 8.3 Million | GDP: $307 billion | Area: 84,000 sq km

Hungary | Pop. 10 Million | GDP: $170 billion | Area: 93,000 sq km

Liechtenstein | Pop. 34,000 | GDP: $1.8 billion | Area: 160 sq km

Luxembourg | Pop. 480,000 | GDP: $40 billion | Area: 2,500 sq km

Switzerland | Pop. 7.5 Million | GDP: $367 billion | Area: 41,000 sq km

Armenia is comparable to Switzerland in landmass (compare to Armenia's 45,000 sq km including Artaskh).

The Armenian government may develop the same economic incentives as Switzerland to attract capital.

I became an immediate fan of Galloway at the very moment I first heard him open his mouth. He has the balls of an ox and it's fantastic. I first saw him an Bill Maher's show and it didn't take long before GG twisted his panties. I like BM but he's a Zionist. He had Natanyahu (or whatever his name is) on his show as well at a different time. The guy is pure evil, and I hate using the word "evil" in any context. The world would be one step close to world peace without that "country."

He was. But he mitigated his commentary so it wasn't as exciting as some other stuff we've heard him say. But it was good. I can't remember if he was on last season or the one before.

Quoted for truth.

If there is any definition of evil in a word-picture association, you must have Netenhayu's picture next to it. The guy's face and expression just oozes with evil. It's amazing how evil he is. I wish I could torture him by tying him to the back of my SUV and driving down the 5 at night (no traffic at night!).

The only Armenian who has purchased any news outlets is Gerard Cafesjian. The Hyras own the Washington Post, New York Times, Associated Press, Time, etc., etc. We Armenians only piggyback on their news vehicles. Only renegades like Weinstein promote the Armenian cause.

When our interests are diametrically opposed to theirs we lose out. Why are our leaders so blind? When are Kerkorian, Hovnanians, Manoogians, etc. going to purchase media and news outlets? .
