Although at the moment I'm not sure when exactly 4499 goes into 4500 (anyone?), I felt it is an event worth celebrating. For our friends who don't know, the calender date begins at the "defeat" of Baal (Bell) by our Forefather Haik. So, Happy Amanor everyone! The holiday of new year or Navasart was later taken over by Verapokhoumn Asdvadzadznin, more commonly known as "blessing of the grapes". Avo jan; you can send a couple of bottles to New Jersey for me and Sassun, at least 4 bottles to our friends in Los Angeles, three bottles to our friends in Canada, then we're talking pal. AVO Posted August 11, 2007 Report Share Posted August 11, 2007 Happy Navasard everybody 4500 wooohooo Նավասարդյան օրերը հայերը տանում էին առանձին շուքով, որը համարվում էր ամենահանդիսավոր ու ուրախալի տոնը։ Նոր տարին սկսվում էր նավասարդի (օգոստոս) մեկից և տևում մեկ շաբաթ։ Հայկական բոլոր ընտանիքներում Նավասարդը դիմավորում էին մեծ խրախճանքով։ Այդ օրը յուրահատուկ կերակուրներ և ուտելիք էին պատրաստում։ Ճոխ սեղան էին բացում և ընտանիքի բոլոր անդամներն ուրախությամբ էին դիմավորում Նավասարդը։ Կար նաև տոպրակ կախելու սովոությունը։ Երդիկներից կախում էին գույնզգույն գուլպաներ, այն ակնկալությամբ, որ դրանց մեջ Նոր տարվա նվերներ կհայտնվեն։ Նավասարդյան օրերը կրում էին փաստորեն ազգային–ժողովրդական բնույթ։ Իշխում էին զվարճությունը, տոնահանդեսները, երգն ու պարը։ Մեծարում էին Անահիտ ու Աստղիկ աստվածուհիներին, ինչպես նաև Վահագն դյուցազնին, որոնք ժողովրդի մոտ բարի համբավ ունեին։ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
