I opened this topic for everyone to post puzzles here, not just me.... :)

Only because I like you, here's one:

You probably already know this one, but let's see how many can remember it :)

You want to go to Village A and come to a crossroad. There's one man who either always tells the truth or always lies. You don't know this, and you can only ask one question that will definitely get you to Village A. What question will you ask?

Nairi,

Question:

When you say crossraods, that implies there are 3 possiblities for the correct direction of village A, left, straight ahead, or right. - Is that the case, or are you at a T intersection where your choices are only left or right?

Ok nevermind:

Here's the answer: You'd have to ask the ONE man the following:

"Which road would you tell me is the way to Village A, TOMORROW?"

If he's the truth teller, he would point to the village. If he's the liar, he knows he will lie tomorrow (and so point the wrong way) so he will also point to the direction of the village.

Is that good enough?

Does anyone see what I see? Nairi you have one blank post right before your last one and on the previous page all of the posts are shifted to the left. Unless I didn't get enough sleep.

==========

Five suspects were rounded up in connection with the famous "Cock Robin Murder" (I swear it wasn't inspired by the circumcision thread). Their statements were as follows: A: "C and D are lying." B: "A and E are lying." C: "B and D are lying." D: "C and E are lying." E: "A and B are lying." Who is lying?

These are about the only puzzles I get. :P

Okay since no one is answering to the "puzzle", here's what's interesting (of what I know): obviously, as you guessed, "one" refers to "cook". But if we change the sentence a little and say:

Sip met the student of CS and Azat the one of Art.

it's not grammatically correct. Right? Now try the same thing in Armenian and see what happens.

Eve, I would guess D :)

Would you tell me what Cock Robin Murder was. I am having trouble understanding this problem.
