hayemyes Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 i would have a question regarding Aram Asatryan and one of his songs... i came across a song called Hroyi Hishatakin....and it talks about the death of his son...but i want to clarify was his son's name Hro? i believed it was Setrak (the one who died) can anyone clarify this? Her family and Aram's family are very close. When Aram was new to this country she helped him out a lot. But Aram wasn't such a bad person either. Aram and his family were at all of the parties from my mom's side. He was there as a guest, not a performer, but he always got up and sang for fun and to entertain. Some family members flew to Armenia to attend the funeral. I can't say anything about the accusations or supposed things he did. I don't know all the facts, but as a performer and singer, he was a huge part of our culture and some of his songs will always stay in my heart. Even your story is all happy---the fact that people were happy and anybody would stand up and sing. What else does one need? Aram became famous throug my father's uncle, Duduk player Hayro. And Aram was a great man. He would never forget what Hayro did for his career. Whenever he went to Armenia, he would visit Hayro's family to see how they are doing. I am sorry he passed away but I heard too many different stories about why he died anyone can shed a light on this? Well lets leave all the bad things in the past, and lets get to the new things... Aram Assatrians' brother's son is going to appear soon, I have heard his voice, Tigran putted it on when last time I was there... Artash is working with the guy as of today, their new album is going to be a blas, the voice is unbelievable, it's exactly the same voice... when I heard it my whole body started shivering, I tought it was Aram and I asked Tiko "wtf are you guys playing with the people?" he said not it's not Aram...
