Mugham Vs. Rabiz

First of all I would like to mention that this is my personal opinion about the mugham and rabiz and I am not forcing it to anyone. And I am going to keep my mind wide open to your suggestions and critisizm.

According to Mosjan mugham is originaly coming from Persia. I am not sure about that. But if even so than it must have Armenian-Aryan roots. Because Aryans on their way to east had big influance on the semi-civilized tribes in the area which is Iran now. Or it may have semitic roots. But lets live this topic to scientists. I know that the first song ever written down was of summerian origin millenias ago.

I personally like mugham but a real ethnic mugham not a turkish crap. Kavali singers are professional mugham singers. They do not even live long they are dying young because they are getting throat cancer because of their professional activities. Andalusian (in Spain) ethnic songs are mugham too. Sayat Nova was singing mugham too. There are big similiarities between mugham and musical instruments. I think mugham is imitation of the musical instrument (duduk, violin etc)

Violin originated from middle east, I think from Iran. The original Violin had more than 10 strings. And it could play musical notes that are not known in modern western musical notes . Supposedly those hidden notes that are not available in western musical instruments are the ones which are affecting or touching human soul (Some call those particles of music, god's voice). Same is with mugham too. Thats why many well known western musicians especially Jazz musicians are traveling to middle east or india to experience that music or songs. Even rock bands include middle eastern mughamic elements in their solo guitar part. By the way classic Jazz is like mugham too it starts together then every party (instrument) plays it's part separately then they play together again and then it finishes. So my point is that mugham imitates the instrument which is able really to touch the human soul.

Some of the mughams do not even have lyrics or just few words some do have beautifull lyrics too like Sayat Nova's.

MosJan was rigth mentioning that armenian church uses mugham too in it's "Sharakanner".

Even in the latest western movies the touchy parts are accompanied with armenian duduk or some type of mugham.

As far as it to rabiz goes. It is some type of mutation of mugham and modern music. Typical turksih style. Everything is stolen from here and there nothing is original. And the lyrics is BS.

rabiz is not a genre of music... rabiz is an idea... it's not bound to any specific ethnic or national group... rabiz is a movement... a global movement, which has taken place in different places at different times... good or bad, it's a reality... indivisible part of human society... necessaty for human development and survival...

btw, i've made a few dozen posts in this forum about rabiz, and all of them are different, most of them contradicting each other... so...
